  The absorption is top-notch. As someone who really loves the tea tree scent, I've gone through more than three bottles. I massage it in with the feeling of locking in that final bit of hydration after my skincare routine. When I wake up the next morning, my skin feels wonderfully moisturized.

  Cons

  It might be a bit heavy for those with oily skin. There's also some pilling when applying makeup, so I prefer to use it at night before bed. You could mix a drop or two with your foundation depending on the weather, but it tends to make your makeup break down more easily.

  Tip

  After your skincare routine, gently massage in three to four drops as the final step. It creates a protective moisture barrier.

  Pros

  Even though I have oily skin, in winter using just a moisturizer leaves my skin feeling dry deep down. So I mix in 1-2 drops of this oil. It's lightweight and absorbs well, making it pleasant to use. Personally, I don't find the scent off-putting either.

  Cons

  I've noticed the red blemishes on my chin have faded, but I don't think it's solely due to the tea tree oil. It seems to have helped in combination with exfoliating and focusing on hydration, but it's hard to expect dramatic results from this alone.

  I accidentally broke the dropper, so I replaced it with a cap from another serum and continue using it that way.

  Since winter started, my already dry skin became even drier, so I began using this. At first, I was worried if it was okay to apply directly to my face without wiping it off, but maybe because my skin was so dry, it worked fine without causing any blemishes. At night, as the final step of my skincare routine, I rub a few drops between my hands and apply it. The scent is also soothing for me, making it nice for bedtime. It absorbs well without feeling excessively greasy or slippery, and keeps my skin from feeling dry until morning. I'm also using it on my hands and heels.

  Since it's an oil, it does take some time to absorb.

  Mixing it with an emulsion makes it less heavy to apply.
