- It's incredibly effective even with a tiny amount. I already thought the original price was reasonable, but now I realize it's an amazingly cost-effective product. - Great value for money, especially considering it comes with a built-in scoop at this price point. - You get a lot more product compared to other cleansing balms. - It gets cloudy around the eyes when used there. However, this cloudiness quickly disappears after washing with a cleansing foam. - Some ingredient might not agree with my skin. A few blemishes appeared (see second photo). I rarely get breakouts, especially at my age, so it's been a while since I've used a product that caused blemishes. - It seems certain ingredients didn't suit my sister either. She developed acne-like blemishes and bumpy skin issues (see third photo). - We noticed the blemishes within 1-2 weeks of using the product and stopped using it. Fortunately, the blemishes cleared up for both of us within 2 days of discontinuing use. We're relieved that the blemishes didn't leave any lasting marks. I bought this product because of its numerous positive reviews and great value for money. I'm puzzled as to why only we experienced these skin issues. - eg******Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJun 21, 2025
I tried this product based on a recommendation from Hwahae, and it's perfect for my sensitive skin with a weak barrier. There are absolutely no downsides. I highly recommend it. It's flawless. It's best to use a generous amount and massage it into your skin. After cleansing, applying a sheet mask leaves your skin wonderfully hydrated. - hy******Dry SkinRecommendedMay 10, 2025
The most impressive thing when I first tried it was how the texture felt like a soft sorbet, melting on my skin without any irritation. It's efficient too - you don't need much to remove even heavy makeup. After cleansing, there wasn't that typical tight, dry feeling at all. Thanks to its low pH formula, I was amazed at how my skin felt moisturized and had no deep dryness after cleansing. If I had to point out a downside, it would be the distinctive herbal scent that might be hit or miss for some. I didn't mind it, but if you're sensitive to fragrances, you should definitely do a patch test first. - lh*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRecommendedMay 10, 2025
For a cleansing balm, it's surprisingly affordable and quite good. My skin isn't particularly sensitive, so I've been using it without any issues or blemishes so far. It's been working well for me! It's a bit of a hassle to wash and store the cleansing balm scoop. But I guess that's unavoidable with this type of product. - rl***********Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedApr 26, 2025
It removes makeup effectively and is incredibly gentle, so you need less product compared to others for excellent cleansing effectiveness! As someone with dry skin, I find it great, but there's a slight oiliness. Those with oily skin might want to check how their skin reacts after one use! I recommend starting with a pea-sized amount and adding more if needed! - co********Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsDark CirclesInner DrynessRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedApr 13, 2025
First off, I have thin, super sensitive skin with combination dehydrated skin on my cheeks and slightly oily T-zone! I've been using this product for about two weeks. The cleansing effectiveness is impressive - it even removes mascara if you're thorough! The texture feels a bit like coconut oil, and it leaves an oil film when applied. There's a slight tightness after cleansing, but it's not severe. I found that using a mist or doing a toner pack after drying my face helps. Oh, and there's no eye irritation! I used to use Banila Co Clean It Zero, and switching to this feels more rich. It's like a cleansing oil in a balm form, so I wouldn't recommend it for those with overall oily skin! My method is to apply the cleansing balm without any water and roll it on my skin first, then I do a second round of rolling while rinsing with water. I've never experienced any excess sebum or blemishes with this technique! - pm*****Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedDec 6, 2024
I highly recommend this cleansing balm for beginners. It melts gently and doesn't irritate the eyes. I'm already on my third tub and have stocked up on two more! The scoop that comes with this cleansing balm is a bit inconvenient. When you're nearly finished with the product, you end up just scooping it out with your fingers... Here's a pro tip: Put some cleansing balm on a cotton pad, microwave it for about 10 seconds, then place it on your nose. When you emulsify it, it really helps dissolve those stubborn blackheads. - ye**************Oily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedOct 25, 2024
It's just as good as Banila Co.! Great value for money, and it's excellent for removing excess sebum with its generous amount! I can't find any downsides for me! However, it might not be the best fit for those with oily skin! - ls*********Dry SkinAtopic SkinDark CirclesRecommendedOct 19, 2024
It applies smoothly like sorbet, which is lovely. It cleanses thoroughly and effectively. I've been using it without any blemishes, so I don't have any complaints yet. - yo********Dry SkinRecommendedAug 5, 2024
I switched to this product from the Banila Co cleansing balm because it was expensive, but personally, I find the Rockys cleansing balm better at removing sebum. So I've settled on Rockys for my cleansing balm. I've ordered it from Cou** and I'm currently on my 6th jar. It's about 10,000 won per jar, and its cleansing effectiveness and ability to remove sebum are great. To be honest, there are no downsides. If you're looking for a cost-effective cleansing balm, go ahead and buy this!
