ConsIt's a bit pricey. While it absorbs well, the lasting power is somewhat disappointing

Cons- Might be too drying for winter use - The hydration doesn't last very long - Not recommended for those with dry skin
TipI use this serum during the day and switch to a different one at night. In summer, heavy skincare products can feel burdensome and cause makeup to pill, but this product is just right for a light, refreshing routine!

As a man with super sensitive skin - even more so than many women with delicate skin - my complexion can be quite unpredictable, even with high-quality ingredients. That's why I'll be extra meticulous in this review. The packaging features the classic dropper design typical of ampoules. Its clean aesthetic incorporates blue and coral accents, evoking a sense of healing and soothing associated with Madecassoside. Despite my extremely sensitive skin, this product noticeably calms my complexion without any adverse reactions. On the day I received it, I had just had laser hair removal, making my skin even more sensitive. Yet, it soothed my skin without any irritation. While even products free of common irritants and allergens can sometimes cause reactions, this seems to be exceptionally gentle, even among mild products. Regarding fragrance, I have rhinitis so my sense of smell isn't great, but it seems to be either unscented or very lightly scented. The texture is slightly thinner than typical ampoules - somewhere between a regular ampoule and a toner. It seems to absorb quickly, and after application, my skin feels firmer, indicating good absorption.
ConsIf you use too much, possibly due to the firming effect at the end, it might cause pilling and reduce the longevity of your cushion foundation. It could be just my skin, but it might be best to control the amount used or avoid using it before makeup application.
TipFor nighttime care, especially on areas irritated by face masks, applying an extra drop helps soothe the burning sensation.

When applied, it feels slightly slippery, and once absorbed, it makes the skin feel plump and sticky to the touch, similar to the Hada Labo skin advertisement. Advantages: - Although lightweight, it provided good hydration. Even after applying the ampoule and not using any other moisturizer for 10 minutes, my face didn't feel tight. - The lightweight formula resulted in a fresh finish that wasn't too heavy. Characteristics: - As it's targeted for sensitive skin, it has no fragrance or color. - The fresh and light finish makes it more suitable for summer rather than winter. - Instead of feeling like deep hydration from within, it felt like a thin protective layer on the skin. It wasn't heavy, but rather felt like a moisture barrier had formed. - After using it consistently for two weeks, I found it to be a very easy-to-use product without any major drawbacks or outstanding benefits.
ConsDrawbacks: - As it's an ampoule designed to soothe heat-irritated skin, I didn't see much effect on calming blemishes. The soothing effect on heat-irritated skin might be better observed in summer. - For my dry skin, the lasting hydration was somewhat lacking.
TipSince I didn't see much soothing effect, I tried applying more, using two pumps instead of one. This seemed to help reduce a blemish near my temple. Those looking for a soothing effect might need to apply a bit more like I did.

I love that I can apply it directly to my face without touching it, and the dropper design ensures not a single drop goes to waste. It's so efficient! After the exhausting holiday housework, my skin became sensitive and puffy. But when I applied this cool Madecassoside Ampoule 2X to my damp face after cleansing, I felt an instant cooling sensation that reduced the heat in my skin. It was so refreshing! Application: It glides on smoothly, though it's quite runny. Absorption: It absorbs quickly once you spray and spread it. Hydration: It moisturizes instantly without any stickiness.
ConsI didn't experience any blemishes. It seems suitable as a basic soothing product for all skin types. However, the Ampoule 2X alone doesn't provide long-lasting hydration.
TipSince I'm currently using Physiogel for its superior long-lasting hydration, I don't use a separate night mask. Instead, I apply the Madecassoside Ampoule 2X immediately after cleansing, followed by Physiogel to seal it in. When I use this routine at night, my skin stays moisturized until my morning cleanse.
