My skin is extremely sensitive, even more so than many women's, so I'll be reviewing this product very carefully. The packaging has the typical ampoule design with a dropper, and the blue and burgundy colors give a soothing, healing vibe. Despite my skin's extreme sensitivity, this product calmed and soothed it without any issues after application. Even on the day I had laser hair removal and my skin was extra irritated, this product was able to provide relief without any irritation. The fragrance is very mild, almost unscented, which is great for someone like me with rhinitis. The texture is a bit thinner than typical ampoules, almost like a serum-ampoule hybrid. It absorbs quickly and leaves a plump, nourished feeling on the skin.
ConsUsing too much of this product can cause it to 'pill' under makeup, and the wear time may be shorter. This could be an issue specific to my skin type, so I'd recommend using it sparingly or avoiding it during makeup application.
TipI found that applying an extra drop or two of this to the areas irritated by my face mask helped to calm the stinging sensation.

It has a slightly viscous? texture, so it may feel like it's not absorbing well, and there may be a slightly sticky feeling after it's fully absorbed, but if you finish with a lotion or cream, it actually leaves your skin feeling moisturized all the way through!
ConsI would recommend using it in the evening rather than morning and evening. Probably due to my skin type, I found that when I used it in the morning and then applied makeup, it felt a bit heavy.
TipUsing it generously after your evening cleansing routine and then going to bed is ideal. Even without using a mask, you'll wake up with skin that feels like you've just had a mask treatment.

If I don't exfoliate, a lot of white sebum builds up, and if I use even a little bit of skincare products that don't suit me or use pore-clogging cosmetics, I immediately get breakouts. That's why I have to be really careful in choosing my skincare products and diligently take care of my skin. On the other hand, I don't have many wrinkles. I mainly use ampoules for my basic skincare. I tried the Apieu Madecassoside Ampoule because it's made only with centella extract and madecassoside, and it's been a huge success. If you feel skin irritation, you can use this product, and the irritation will subside quickly. You know that skin inflammation is a shortcut to aging, right? This product doesn't cause any breakouts and also calms down the skin inflammation. I plan to use it consistently. It doesn't feel sticky, but it's not immediately absorbed either. After a while, it gets absorbed into the skin, leaving it moisturized. The bottle has a dropper, so if you're careful not to let the dropper touch your skin, you can store it safely. If it accidentally touches your skin, you just need to wipe the dropper clean, which is a bit of a hassle, but not a big deal. I use two ampoules as my basic skincare, and this one keeps my makeup from sliding off or feeling cakey. It also seems to be great when I'm concerned about mask-related skin irritation. Even though my skin has probably adapted to wearing masks, whenever I first started wearing a mask for exercise or daily life, I would get flushing and breakouts without fail. But since using this product, I hardly ever get flushing, and I don't get any breakouts even when I wear a mask and exercise. I highly recommend this to anyone with acne-prone, flushing-prone skin that gets oily and causes makeup to slide off or feel cakey. I even used it on my 10-year-old son's acne, and it calmed it down significantly after just one application. The photo was taken after I squeezed out the product and let it absorb. My son's acne used to be extremely severe and inflamed, but he doesn't use it consistently because the dropper is a bit of a hassle for him.
ConsFor those with dry skin, it would be a good idea to layer a cream on top. To be honest, I'm writing this because you asked me to, but even though I have oily skin, the areas around my eyes and mouth are dry. However, I'm not using a separate cream. At night, I just apply an eye cream to the eye area. In the morning, the eye cream also gets swept away when I apply eyeshadow, so I don't use it then.
TipInstead of using a separate cream, I make sure to apply the ampoule twice. I apply it once and let it absorb, and then while I'm getting ready, I apply it a second time and use a beauty tool to help it absorb even further. This way, I don't experience any tightness throughout the day, and my makeup applies beautifully.

Fragrance It's fragrance-free, so there's no risk of fragrance ingredients and it's good to use without any likes or dislikes. 2. Texture The formula is almost watery, so it absorbs quickly and has good spreadability! After it's all absorbed, there's a slight sticky residue. 3. Soothing Effect 𖤐𖤐𖤐 I have slightly reddened skin, so my cheeks tend to flush with friction or temperature changes. So I was using the 'EGF Ampoule (Seed Water)' quite satisfactorily, even though it's expensive compared to the volume. So at first, I didn't have high expectations for this ampoule, but it surprisingly helped reduce the redness well, with a slight cooling effect. And it has a soothing effect while also providing moisture, so personally, I felt I could use just this ampoule year-round, except in winter. Also, since I'm sensitive, I'm glad it's gentle without any irritation or blemishes!
ConsThere weren't any major disappointments, but if I had to point out a few things: 1. Volume Even though I only used it in the evenings, the volume seemed to run out quickly, so I wish it came in a larger size. 2. Moisture As I mentioned, the moisture level was satisfactory for me except in winter, but those with dry skin may feel it's lacking. 3. Texture I said it has a slightly sticky finish after fully absorbing, and that's why I don't use it in the mornings. When I use it in the morning and then apply sunscreen, that stickiness seems to cause the sunscreen to slide off. But this may just be the case for my skin - I generally find that ampoules or essences with hyaluronic acid tend to have this sticky finish that interferes with my sunscreen. But since I only used the previous EGF ampoule in the evenings, this wasn't a major issue for me.
TipIf you have redness or need skin soothing, definitely try this out!! I think the soothing effect is amazing for the price point 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
