I was pleasantly surprised by how gentle the Chae Seul Tea Tree Herbtox Peeling Pack was. The cleansing effectiveness was particularly impressive - after use, I felt like the impurities and excess oil in my T-zone pores were thoroughly cleared out. The texture was smooth, and the subtle herbal scent made it comfortable to use. My skin didn't feel tight after rinsing, making it suitable for sensitive skin like mine. I'd recommend this to those with combination dehydrated skin or anyone who, like me, has sensitive skin but struggles with pore issues.
ConsThere was a very slight redness, almost like a mild flush, immediately after use, but it subsided quickly and didn't lead to any blemishes. If you're concerned about potential irritation, applying a toner afterwards could make the experience much more comfortable.
TipI found the most effective and least irritating method was to apply a thin layer on damp skin after cleansing and leave it on for just 5 minutes. Using it once or twice a week seems to refine skin texture without excessive exfoliation of dead skin cells. I plan to keep using it consistently!

The scent isn't overpowering before application, but it becomes more pronounced once you apply it to your face. Texture: Rather than feeling like clay, it's more like spreading mud. There are small granules throughout that seem perfect for effectively removing blackheads. It gives a cooling sensation upon application! Recommended skin type: Since the mask isn't particularly drying, even those with dry skin should be able to use it comfortably.
ConsI wish the mask had a slightly more hydrating formula! It feels a bit drying.

It's best applied with a brush for even coverage. The granules are larger compared to other brands. - Pleasant Mugwort Scent As someone who enjoys the aroma of herbal medicine, I absolutely loved the mugwort scent. However, it's worth noting that this can be a polarizing fragrance - some may find it off-putting. - Soothing Effect, Skin Texture The tea tree ingredient provides a calming effect, leaving your skin feeling refreshed. After cleansing, I noticed my skin felt brighter and smoother without any deep dryness.
ConsThe consistency is quite thick, which doesn't make for the smoothest application. Also, there's some residue left when washing it off - a slightly thinner formula would be preferable. The larger granules can feel a bit abrasive during cleansing.
TipRecommended as a summer mask. It comes with a brush, which makes it convenient to use.

It's a brand with an "overwhelming sales record of 70 million masks sold" and gained more popularity when "picked by Joon-seo Yook". The "Collagen Mask" contains a high concentration of 850,000ppm, providing excellent hydration. It gives an overall glow, making it perfect to use before makeup. It also provides a firming effect, leading to high satisfaction and making it the #1 repurchase choice. The product I'm reviewing today is: ✅Welderma Chaisl Tea Tree Herbtox Peeling Pack Developed in collaboration with dermatology experts, ingredient researchers, and Welderma A multi-functional pack combining 3 benefits (mask/hydration/exfoliation) Unlike conventional gommage peeling packs, this "herbal peeling pack" uses green tea powder, breaking the common notion that peeling is not good for the skin Volume: 150g Market price: $29 Applies a "light home-care fraxel system" ✅5 key ingredients: "Mugwort extract" "Micro spicules=sponge" "Green tea powder" "Tea tree leaf extract" "Hyaluronic acid" ✅Low-irritation spicules help deliver "active ingredients" to the dermis layer Increases "hydration", soothes, and effectively removes dead skin cells Uses highly purified and uniform "white spicules" ⭐️Passed low-irritation tests ⭐️Temporary pore size improvement effect ⭐️Skin exfoliation improvement results ⭐️Skin clarity improvement results ✅Usage areas: Face, discolored elbows, heels, knees, under-chin acne ✅How to use: 1. After cleansing, apply an appropriate amount to dry skin 2. Spread evenly, avoiding the eye and mouth areas 3. After about 15 minutes, gently massage while rinsing with lukewarm water to help remove dead skin cells ➡️The tube packaging makes it easy to dispense and store ➡️The green color matches well with the product concept
ConsNot recommended for those with mugwort allergies
Tip✅Useful information: When applied to the entire face, you might use more product than expected. Using it once a week, it should last for "about 10 applications" ✅You can also use it on specific areas as needed (Concentrate on areas with excessive dead skin cells or oiliness)

While the scent wasn't quite my style, it had a really healthy aroma that put me in a good mood. I felt a slight tingling sensation, like tiny needles on my skin, but it was a pleasant kind of stimulation that felt comfortable. And now for the most important part - the results! After using it, my skin felt silky smooth, with no redness, and had a sort of radiant look. Best of all, my face didn't feel tight afterwards!
ConsHowever... because there was quite a bit of product inside, it was a bit difficult to squeeze out, which was disappointing. This also meant that it didn't spread as easily as I'd hoped. That was the only real downside for me!
TipI found it easier to remove when applied in a thin layer rather than slathering on too much!

Among all the products I've tried, this one has the best absorption. It applies so smoothly! I read reviews saying it felt dry after use, but I found it surprisingly soft. Just to be safe, I followed up with a sheet mask and moisturizer before bed. Despite my super sensitive skin, I didn't feel any particular irritation - it was quite tolerable! The tube packaging also seems more hygienic.
ConsThe scent was a deal-breaker for me. It has a strong herbal smell that I didn't enjoy. While it felt fine right after use, being an exfoliating mask, my makeup the next day looked flaky, as if I had more dead skin cells. Also, I noticed more small, blemish-like bumps appearing. The particles don't seem to dissolve in water, so you need to rinse thoroughly, otherwise your sink might get messy!
TipA sheet mask is a must after using this! And you'll probably want to apply a moisturizer too. Since it's an exfoliating mask, I've only used it a few times so far, but I think I need to try it more to fully assess its effects.

After rinsing it off, my skin feels clean and hydrated. I have combination skin leaning towards dry, but I didn't experience any deep dryness, and it worked well for me! My skin became incredibly soft in just a week.
ConsThe mugwort chunks in the product can be quite abrasive and cause a tingling sensation, leading to skin irritation when applying it to your face. Naturally, there's also some irritation when washing it off. Therefore, I wouldn't recommend this for those with thin or super sensitive skin.
TipAs suggested on the product details page, I recommend applying toner before using this mask. It's best to use it when your skin is still slightly damp from the toner, not completely dry. When I first tried it without toner, the mask felt rough to spread, which caused more irritation to my skin. Applying it over toner makes it much easier to spread, as the remaining moisture from the toner helps it glide on smoothly.

After using it about 3 times, I was pleased that it didn't cause any blemishes on my super sensitive skin. Lately, I've been dealing with a lot of tiny bumps, so I've been focusing on exfoliation and hydration. This product was really effective at removing dead skin cells. You apply a thin layer using the included silicone brush, wait 10-15 minutes, then gently massage it off with lukewarm water. It exfoliates well without drying out the skin. It has a slightly grainy texture, so those with sensitive skin should be careful not to rub too hard! After using the mask, my skin felt smoother, and I noticed that my skincare products seemed to absorb better. It has a mugwort scent, which I didn't mind - it actually gave me a sense of something healthy...? Those sensitive to fragrances might not like it though. Overall, I was very satisfied.
ConsThere wasn't really anything I disliked. Perhaps just that the scent might be divisive?
TipAfter using the mask, make sure to apply your skincare products generously and finish with a regenerating cream.

My skin has been dry lately, causing some flakiness on my cheeks, but after using this mask, I could feel my skin texture becoming more refined.
ConsThe scent isn't like tea tree, but rather reminds me of passing by an herbal medicine shop or health food store. Personally, I don't mind it, but it's a fragrance that people might either love or hate. The particles are quite large and rough, making it a bit uncomfortable when rolling it on the skin.
TipIf you apply pressure with the included silicone spatula, the mask doesn't spread and just gets pushed around (it feels like trying to be economical with a spatula). To get the mask to adhere well to your skin, you need to apply it gently with a light touch.

While applying, some powder did fall off, but I didn't feel any lack of hydration during the 15-minute wait. Usually, peeling masks leave my skin dry, but this one kept it moisturized. After rinsing, my skin feels incredibly soft and smooth. It's genuinely velvety to the touch, even without applying anything else. The scent reminded me of green tea? I'm not a fan of fragrances in facial products, but this was tolerable. The most impressive effect I saw was on blemishes. I had some inflamed acne, but after using this mask a few times, they disappeared. It was especially effective on body acne. My face was a bit sensitive to it, so I applied it to my body, and it really helped reduce inflammation. It seems to exfoliate well, removing dead skin cells gently rather than harshly. Despite having sensitive skin and feeling a slight tingling, it didn't cause excessive peeling or irritation.
ConsWhen first applying it to my face, it was thick, and I applied it to bare skin. The powder kept falling off, even while waiting for it to dry. It kept dropping onto my neck. Maybe I should have applied it more generously? My face felt a bit of a tingling sensation, but it worked great on my body.
TipIf you have body acne, you must try this! With consistent use, your blemishes will disappear!
