I was worried it might be too harsh, but it rinses off without irritation. The Hwahae Testers would approve! - It definitely brightens my complexion by removing dead skin cells, reducing the appearance of flaky foundation. - While the particles feel a bit coarse during application, it's gentle enough to use without rubbing too hard when rinsing. - The tea tree ingredient provides a cooling sensation, making it perfect for skin prone to redness, especially on hot evenings.
ConsWhen it dries and you rinse it off, the particles do come off in clumps easily, but you really need to be thorough with cleansing! I thought I had rinsed super carefully, but when I used my toner afterwards, there were still some residual bits left behind.
TipI think I'll use this once a week when the weather gets warmer!

I was excited because mugwort works well for my skin, and this product seemed to contain a lot of it. The consistency was just right - it didn't drip and caused minimal irritation. With ingredients like mugwort, tea tree, green tea, and spicules, it felt like I was applying pure nature to my skin, which was really satisfying. My complexion seemed clearer, and it was a great mood booster too!
ConsBeing a peel-off mask, I noticed my skin felt slightly dry during the drying process.

After using it a few times, here's my honest review! A slightly bitter scent reminiscent of herbal medicine The initial fragrance might be divisive, but I personally enjoyed the subtle, medicinal aroma. It gave me a sense of healthiness and even had a calming effect. Less irritating than expected I was worried it might sting like microneedling, but upon first use, there was only a slight tingling and warm sensation that quickly subsided. Thankfully, there were no side effects like redness. Still, it's not entirely free from irritation... As someone who's used microneedling devices, I was surprised by how much it stung. Smoother skin texture After rinsing, my slightly rough skin felt a bit smoother. While not an instant transformation, I was satisfied with the refined texture I could feel when touching my face. Great quality silicone brush included! One of the most satisfying components was the silicone pack brush. The formula is quite thick and could clump if applied by hand, but the brush helped spread it evenly without getting my hands messy.
ConsResults vary greatly depending on application time Initially, I applied it, pressed immediately, and washed it off, which was fine with minimal irritation. However, the second time, I bravely left it on for about 10 minutes before pressing, and the pack hardened, making my skin feel tight and uncomfortable when pressed. It seems this pack is best used with a 'apply, wait briefly → press → rinse immediately' routine. Very thick formula + narrow opening The formula is extremely thick, requiring force to squeeze out, and the opening is too narrow, making it a struggle every time. As someone who prefers squeeze tubes over jars, I wish the opening was a bit wider. Not entirely irritation-free Since it does cause a tingling and warm sensation, those with sensitive skin might want to limit use to once a week. I don't have particularly sensitive skin, but even I felt once a week was appropriate, as daily use seemed too intense.
TipOverall impression Rather than a 'non-irritating peeling pack', it's more accurate to describe it as a product with slight irritation but noticeable effects. I'd recommend it to those interested in improving skin texture, especially fans of tea tree products. However, the key is to use it carefully - avoid leaving it on too long or rubbing when it's dry.

The mineral content seems to leave my skin feeling moisturized and soft after exfoliating. It's not just a simple exfoliator that removes dead skin cells; it uses a spicule method where natural extracts penetrate deep into the skin, providing nourishment, promoting regeneration, minimizing pores, and regulating sebum production. I have sensitive skin and couldn't use exfoliators before, relying only on toners with AHA/BHA, which always felt insufficient. I was a bit apprehensive about trying this, but I'm pleasantly surprised - there's absolutely no irritation, and my skin feels incredibly smooth. I'm really impressed!
ConsThe only downside might be having to wait for it to set? But surprisingly, even when it sets, it doesn't feel tight on the skin!
TipIt's great not just for the face, but also for elbows, heels, and knees! I even use it on my legs below the knees! The generous amount allows for liberal use on the body too, so I highly recommend it. It's absolutely fantastic!

You can squeeze it out to use, and it comes with a dedicated spatula, which makes it super convenient and hygienic to apply without getting your hands messy! The scent is quite intense, reminiscent of a sauna - a nostalgic fragrance that I absolutely adored. Thanks to the aroma, applying the mask feels like a healing experience. The texture is rich and thick! So rather than being a soft type, it feels like it's also exfoliating when you wash it off. But after rinsing, my skin feels incredibly soft! It's like all the dead skin cells just disappear... leaving my skin feeling so fresh and clean. It's truly refreshing! I've been using it consistently, about two to three times a week, spacing it out for maximum effect. After masking, my skin absorbs essence so much better, leading to top-notch skin condition the next day!
ConsI didn't experience any blemishes at all! However, because it's thick and hardens quite firmly, I'd be cautious about recommending it to those with super sensitive skin.

They'd dry it out and steep it in the bathtub for a soothing soak, or grind it into powder to mix with yogurt or honey for a face mask! Wow... but combining it with tea tree and green tea powder (another bathhouse mom favorite) and even adding spicules?? I was really excited about this. When I opened the product, the wonderful mugwort scent wafted out (though some might not like it). Since it's a powder blend, they've made it into a formula that spreads on nice and moist. It's best to apply it by gently patting it on. Spicules are known to promote natural skin regeneration, helping to slough off dead skin cells - I've seen this ingredient used a lot in esthetic treatments. Micro-needling is all the rage these days, right? It seems they've designed this to help the beneficial ingredients penetrate well. After removing the mask, my skin feels so silky smooth! Like other reviewers mentioned, there's a slight tinting effect, but it's only temporary.
ConsFor those with super sensitive skin, it's definitely a good idea to patch test on the back of your hand or elsewhere first. After it dries in about 15 minutes, it's best to remove it by gently wiping with lukewarm water. Avoid massaging, as the particles are a bit large and could cause irritation. While I'm used to the scent and it seemed to dissipate quickly for me, if you apply a thick layer, the strong mugwort smell might be overwhelming for some.
TipSince this contains spicules (micro-needles), using it with very hot water or in a hot environment could cause a burning sensation and irritation. When I tested it on the back of my hand, I rinsed with lukewarm water first, but later when I washed my hands with warmer water, I felt a stinging sensation.

First of all, I have really sensitive skin! I've never used a peeling pack before and really wanted to try one, so I'm so happy to have come across this opportunity! At first, I was curious if the granules would be too irritating for my skin, but after using it, I didn't experience any irritation at all! It felt like it was drawing out all the sebum deep within my skin. (This may vary individually) The scent is reminiscent of rice cake with mugwort and has a strong herbal aroma! It's like getting an oriental herbal treatment. 😆 My dog loves the herbal scent and comes running to sniff it every time I use the pack... jumping up and down... (I only let him smell it, never let him touch it - that's a no-no, just the scent is allowed.) There are many peeling packs that are hard to wash off, but this one rinses off really well. Last time I used a pore pack, I accidentally tore it and it clogged my sink, but this one washed away nicely. After using the peeling pack, my skin felt so soft and smooth, and my makeup didn't cake or flake. I'm so glad they included a brush applicator! It spreads the product on evenly without getting it all over my hands.
ConsThe fragrance may be polarizing. I am quite sensitive to scents, so I did not like it. Having to constantly smell it while the pack was drying was a bit unpleasant (but I do like dogs..haha).
TipIt seems like it would be good to do it once a week! After reading the product description, it said it was possible to use it on dry skin, so I used it on my elbows and it really became soft and smooth~ After doing the pack, you definitely need to moisturize. After a little while, it started to feel a bit tight!

Then, surprise! There it was - I'm touched by this thoughtfulness! The Hwahae Testers really know what they're doing. Anyway, after cleansing and applying toner, I tried the mask. The mugwort scent is fantastic! I wasn't sure how much to use, but as it started to set, my skin felt a bit tight. However, after rinsing it off, my skin was noticeably smoother and slightly more hydrated, which I loved. I have dry skin, so I use it once or twice a week. It leaves my skin feeling soft, and I feel like my complexion brightens up - it's great! 1. The thoughtful inclusion of a brush 2. Pleasant mugwort scent 3. Skin feels softer after use (probably from exfoliating dead skin cells) 4. Gives the impression of a brighter complexion!
ConsThe mugwort scent might not be everyone's cup of tea, which is a bit of a downside. Also, I'm not quite sure how much product to use. Despite having dry skin and layering a hydrating toner underneath, my skin still felt tight and dry as the mask set and dried - that's just the nature of these types of masks. Nevertheless, I still like it! That's why I use it occasionally rather than frequently!

That was definitely a plus!
ConsThe downside for me was that the mugwort scent was quite overpowering, which made it feel a bit nauseating while applying. Also, when I dampened it after it dried and rolled it off, I experienced a tingling sensation on my skin. Unfortunately, it felt too harsh for my super sensitive skin, which was quite disappointing.

Here's my review after using it twice. With my sensitive combination dehydrated skin, I'm serious about cleansing and exfoliation. While I've settled on a cleansing routine, exfoliating often breaks down my skin barrier or causes blemishes. This product, however, seems less irritating than the Shrek mask or mung bean mask, so it felt less harsh initially. The texture is quite thick, so it might be a bit stimulating when applying. You could mix it with something else for a gentler application. After use, it refines skin texture and leaves you with a bright complexion. If you don't mind the scent, it's a decent product. While it's not in the 'wow, amazing!' category, it's less irritating than those burning peeling masks, making it a good summer skincare option.
ConsThere's nothing particularly bad, but depending on how much you apply, it seems to dry too quickly. It's not the easiest product to use.
TipTry mixing it with other products!
