The balmy texture felt so nice and soft. The color was also quite unique yet versatile, making it an easy-to-pull-off shade of grapefruit pink. The saturation wasn't overly high, so it works well as a base lip color or as a pop of color. No matter what lip product I applied on top, there was no pilling or flaking.
Cons
When applied during dry periods, it doesn't spread evenly on the inner parts of the lips!! And when worn alone and left as is, my lips tend to get a bit dry in the winter.
Tip
Before bed, I like to generously apply some Vaseline or a lip mask, and then during my makeup routine, I'll add another layer of lip balm. After that, I'll wipe it off with a *makeup wipe* before applying the actual lip product. This combo works great with lip glosses too. I purchased this product based on the recommendation I received at the MAC store while wandering around as a makeup novice. I was told that using this product together with the Escรกndalo would look lovely, so I bought them both.
