I love applying this warm pink shade. The color is sophisticated and it glides on beautifully. It's somewhere between cool and warm tones, so the undertone isn't very definitive. - le*******Normal SkinRecommendedSep 14, 2023
It applies with a soft, powdery finish. True to its name, it feels like a powder and has a matte effect without being overly drying, which I love! The color is a natural pink that's really flattering. It tends to accentuate dead skin cells quite noticeably. Even with careful application, it clings to areas with flaky skin, so make sure to exfoliate thoroughly before using. I found that gently patting it on works much better than rubbing it in, giving a more natural and beautiful finish. - wk******Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRecommendedAug 7, 2023
The MAC Powder Kiss Sheer Outrage lipstick is a winner! It's matte but not as dry as a crayon lipstick, applying with a powdery finish that feels comfortable. The staying power is impressive too. The color is like a light azalea, somewhere between pink and coral. I bought it after seeing it recommended on YouTube for those with deep undertones and light skin, and I'm not disappointed! I used to only wear bold shades like Chili, but now that I'm trying lighter colors, it's a bit unfamiliar. However, I love how it softens my overall look! With so many products on the market that absorb well, this one feels a bit dry in comparison. I don't find myself reaching for it often. - ha****Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedFeb 27, 2023
Color payoff: The lipstick's true color comes through after about 3 applications (This doesn't mean the pigmentation is low - it just appears subtle with one swipe) Application: It's not a matte lipstick that feels dry when applied. Instead, it glides on more smoothly than expected (though not as effortlessly as a sheer lipstick) Feel on lips: It has a pleasant velvety texture, making it easy to blend with other lipsticks Shade: It's like a coral with a drop of red mixed in, reminiscent of the MLBB (My Lips But Better) trend from 3-5 years ago The bullet feels a bit loose, giving the impression it might break if not used carefully... While it's characteristic of MAC bullet lipsticks, the black case makes it impossible to distinguish colors without looking at the label The lipstick label is just a regular name tag, not a color chip, so you can't tell the shade until you open it Powder Kiss looks beautiful on its own, but it really shines when blended with other colors, showcasing the advantage of a soft matte lip The shade also works beautifully as a blusher - 50***Oily SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedDec 8, 2022
It's great as a base lip color. The shade turned out to be more of a 'my lips but better' color than I expected. It feels a bit dry and sits on top of the lips, so I apply it after a lip mask or layer it over a lip gloss. - oh****Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRecommendedMay 9, 2022
The color is perfectly spring-like with a vibrant coral pink hue. It's an absolute must-have for those with a light complexion and deep undertones! The scent is a sweet chocolatey aroma. It's ideal to use as a base layer. It tends to accentuate dead skin cells a bit. More importantly, as someone who wears shades 23-24, I found the lip color too light for me, making my lips look disconnected from my face. Unfortunately, those with darker skin tones can only use this as a base. Since it has a matte formula, exfoliating before application ensures a beautiful finish. Using this as a base and topping it with any red lipstick you have lying around creates an absolutely stunning look. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinRecommendedDec 22, 2021
I love how it applies with a soft, powdery finish. The color, a grapefruit pink, is uniquely versatile - easy to try and not too bold. Its moderate saturation makes it perfect as both a base and an accent lip color. It's great that it doesn't pill or cake up when layered with other lip products. It doesn't apply well to the inner lips when they're dry. Also, when worn alone in winter, it can leave your lips feeling a bit parched. For best results, apply a thick layer of Vaseline or lip mask before bed. Then, when doing your makeup, apply lip balm, wipe it off with a wet wipe, and then apply this lipstick. It pairs well with lip gloss too. For a natural yet glossy look, apply it as a gradient and then gently dab some Dior Lip Maximizer in the center. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJun 4, 2021
I can't speak to the grapefruit scent, but it gives a more vibrant and radiant look compared to See Sheer. It's perfect as a daily item for those with deep undertones, and even those with light undertones can use it without worry. As expected from MAC, the adherence and color payoff are on point - not too much, not too little, just right for its purpose. The color pops and it sticks to the lips beautifully! Everyone keeps saying it's a grapefruit coral, but I'm not so sure. To me, it's just a bright pink. - Hwahae UserDry SkinRecommendedFeb 2, 2021
As someone clueless about complexion, I wandered into a MAC store during my shade-finding journey. The staff recommended this product, suggesting it pairs beautifully with Estée Lauder's foundation. The color is gorgeous! It reminds me of spring, so I'm saving it for when the season arrives. MAC's signature lip-drying effect and tendency to cause dead skin cells? The need to constantly reapply lip balm? It looks beautiful when applied together with Estée Lauder's foundation! - ju*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJan 21, 2021
Here's my review of shade 21 with a deep undertone for light skin tones: ✔️Color The color seems to appear brighter on the lips than in the tube. It gives a natural-looking change to your lip color! The photo came out a bit dark, unfortunately. On my lips, it looked more natural than I expected. It would also work well as a base lip color. ✔️Adherence I found the adherence to be quite good. Maybe it's because my lips are dry, but it really stuck on well. ✔️Application My lips are in poor condition with lots of wrinkles, so I usually find most matte lipsticks difficult to apply and uncomfortable. However, with the Powder Kiss line, if you pat it on and apply it following your lip contours, it's quite nice! It didn't feel very drying after application either. Just a soft, powdery feeling! If you apply it with a swiping motion, it might cause your lip skin to pill. If you pat it on gently, smudge it a bit, and apply it to the inner part of your lips, you can achieve a look that makes it seem like you're not wearing anything - just naturally beautiful lips! I heard that Sheer Out Rage is like MAC's See Sheer lipstick but in the Powder Kiss formula. Compared to See Sheer, when applied to the lips, the color is a bit brighter and you can feel a hint of a white base.
