The powder-like texture was easy to apply without a brush. I could just gently rub it on with the applicator tip, and it blended seamlessly. I bought this based on the color swatch alone, but the pink-beige shade looked a bit off on my warm complexion and made my overall appearance seem very subdued. The formula felt like powder mixed with water, so it didn't adhere well to my skin and transferred easily. There was hardly any staining, so it came off easily with cleansing milk, but that also meant the staying power wasn't great. - Hwahae UserDry SkinRecommendedAug 16, 2021
True to its name 'Oversmudge', this product has a formula and color perfectly optimized for smudging. 'Whenever' was named by YouTuber Jae-yu, meaning she wants to apply it anytime. Living up to its name, it's a color that's just right for daily wear. As someone with an autumn warm tone, depending on my base makeup, it sometimes gave me a slightly sickly look. However, with multiple layers, I think it could be worn on its own quite nicely. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJul 24, 2021
Shade 21 / Light undertone Pale 1. The subtle chocolate scent is delightful. 2. If you're into the MLBB (My Lips But Better) look, this shade is worth having regardless of your cool undertone. 3. It feels powdery when applied, but also somehow smooth...? I can't quite describe it, but the lip feel after application is great. 4. Cool-toned individuals wanting a warmer look could use this as a base. 5. Those with shade 21 and above will find this a truly natural and beautiful color. 6. My warm-toned sister tried it and it became her holy grail tint. Perfect for warm-toned people who prefer light makeup. 1. It's more orange-toned than what I saw in Jeyou's video, so cool-toned individuals might struggle with wearing it alone. Pale tones should be fine regardless of undertone. 2. It tends to transfer onto masks. Can sometimes clump unattractively when eating. 3. Those with shade 21 or lighter might find the color too subtle. Exfoliate beforehand and apply a generous amount of lip balm before using this tint. It really helps to bring out the texture. - yj******Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJul 12, 2021
I bought this after seeing it on YouTube, as the color and texture looked appealing. It's my first time trying a Rarekind tint, and true to its name, it has a smudge-friendly texture that's easy to apply. The tint is lightweight, glides on smoothly, and is perfect for creating a blurred effect. It's excellent as a base and pairs well with other tints. The color is a 'my lips but better' shade, though it didn't show up too dramatically on my naturally pigmented lips. Despite being a matte lip product, it doesn't accentuate dead skin cells and has a cloud-like texture that feels incredibly light on the lips. The staying power isn't great. Due to its powdery texture, it does transfer a bit. For a beautiful look, apply it all over your lips and then blur it out with your fingers! - st*************Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinJul 2, 2021
The photo shows Mood Beige on the left and Whenever on the right. In person, the colors appear less saturated than in the image. Personally, I tend to favor and look good in shades like MAC Mulled It Over or Rom&nd Burnt Nude. However, Whenever turned out to be more ordinary than I had anticipated. When swatched on the back of my hand, it had a lovely muted pink-coral beige tone that I quite liked. But once applied to my lips, it took on a much whiter cast, somehow making my complexion appear dull. It might be due to how it mixes with my natural lip color, but at times it even looks like a cool-toned pink. The color just doesn't strike me as particularly flattering. Unfortunately, it wasn't a shade that seamlessly blended with my lip tone. Well... to be frank, I'm not a big fan of the blurry formula of Rarekind tints. First off, the adherence and staying power are quite poor, and it tends to settle into fine lines quite noticeably. As a result, I only reach for it on rare occasions. Besides the two colors shown in the photo, I also own Rose Awesome. The more I use Rarekind tints, the more I can't help but feel they've been somewhat overhyped by various YouTubers. I wonder if it's just my imagination... - Hwahae UserCombination SkinRecommendedMar 26, 2021
A lovely pink coral MLBB shade that works well as a base or on its own. It's a Jaeyou pick, and I bought it because I heard the combination with Whenever and Musk Rose is beautiful. The recommended combo is indeed gorgeous - applying Whenever first, then Musk Rose on top is a winning look! The powdery texture of Rarekind lip tints can be hit or miss for some people. - pj*****Oily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJan 31, 2021
First off, the texture is creamier than I expected, applying like whipped cream. Surprisingly, the color deepens slightly after application! It's the complete opposite of the Forencos tint in texture. It goes on velvety smooth without emphasizing dead skin cells and sits comfortably on the lips. However, it doesn't cling tightly to the lips. It doesn't stain much and tends to transfer onto cups, masks, or anything it touches. Despite this, I'm drawn to its other advantages and find myself purchasing and using it as if under a spell. To minimize transfer, avoid applying it too thickly. Instead, gently pat on a thin layer for better results.
