It's perfect for solo use or layering with other lip products. It complements summer cool-toned skin beautifully and works well for creating an overlip effect.
ConsDue to its matte formula, it may feel somewhat drying on already dry lips. Without using a lip brush, you might experience some pilling.

ConsThe matte lipstick can emphasize flaky skin if you don't do proper exfoliation.

I've already gone through three of them, which shows how often I reach for this product. I've looked at other lipsticks, but I can't find a color quite like 'Way Back'. It has a charm that keeps me coming back for more. This lipstick has a pink-beige tone, featuring a calm, muted fall color. Its low saturation allows it to blend naturally with your lips, making it perfect for daily wear. The application is smooth, and while it's matte, it's not drying, adhering comfortably to the lips. It's great as a base lip color and also ideal for layering with other lip products.
ConsI honestly can't think of any drawbacks! There are no real cons to this product. If I had to nitpick, being matte, it might slightly emphasize dead skin cells on the lips? But that's unavoidable given the nature of the formula.
TipIt truly goes with any makeup look and suits any occasion. I'd be heartbroken if they discontinued this product!

Highly recommended for cool skin tones!
ConsSince it's a lip product, it does have a matte feel. Exfoliating dead skin cells is a must.

The staying power is pretty decent too.
ConsIt tends to emphasize dead skin cells a bit, and due to its matte nature, it can feel somewhat heavy when applied.

As someone with a muted skin tone, I was excited to try it. While it didn't quite work for me as a standalone lip color, I found it excellent as a base to even out my lip tone!
ConsSince it's a matte lipstick, it can be a bit drying and may accentuate dead skin cells. I recommend thoroughly moisturizing your lips before application.
TipUsing a lip brush or cotton swab to define the outline will make it look much better.

It's great as a base lip color, but I mostly wear it on its own because it looks so pretty. Even my friend asked what lip color I was wearing - it's that beautiful!
ConsThere are no drawbacks! Seriously, none. Since it's a matte lip product, if your lips are usually very dry, you might experience a bit of dead skin cells. But that's typical of all matte lip products, so it's not really a significant flaw.
TipIf your lips are very dry, try applying some petroleum jelly before using this product. It helps a lot!

It works great as a base lip color.
ConsIt's extremely matte, so I wouldn't recommend it for those whose lips tend to dry out easily.

It looks just like my natural lip color! I have cool-toned skin with shade 21, and even when I wear this alone, my face doesn't look washed out. It's great as a base, and pretty much everything I layer on top as a point color matches well. I hope they don't discontinue this and keep selling it for a long time!
ConsSince it's a matte formula, and I have dry skin, I need to frequently apply lip balm or moisturizer to prevent it from cracking. The staying power isn't that high either. This isn't just for this lip product, but seems to apply to most matte lipsticks. The color is so pretty that it makes up for all these drawbacks.

When applied to the skin, it gives a subtle brightening effect. It seems like a great base lip color for any skin tone. Texture: The formula is great for smudging, making it versatile not just as a lip product, but also for cheek touches or eyeshadow.
ConsColor: I bought it because the color looked pretty, but as a light undertone who doesn't pick up ashiness well, it makes my lips look disconnected when applied as a full lip. This shade seems to have a warm undertone with some ashiness, likely suitable for muted warm undertones. That's what the color analyst said when I brought it to my recent personal color consultation. Texture: It has an extremely matte finish, so even a bit of dead skin cells can be quite noticeable.
TipWhile the color doesn't suit me well for full lip application, I've found a way to make good use of it! I've been using it as a lip liner for the trendy overlip makeup look I'm into lately. (This doubles its usefulness!) The shade is similar to the famous Heart××× lip pencil often used for overlip makeup. I've found it works better when used just for lining the lips rather than as a full base. For cool-toned folks, try pairing it with a darker pink tint on the inner lips - it's a perfect match! This method also prevents the heavy, cakey look you might get from layering multiple lip products over a full base. I'd recommend this for full lip application to those with muted warm undertones. Since it has an extremely matte texture, to avoid patchiness, make sure to exfoliate well and apply by gently patting rather than rubbing it on.
