I bought this because Wakemake is so famous and I wanted to try their matte lip product. I used only these for my lip makeup when going for a matte look. True to its name, it's really matte, so you need to take care of your lips while applying it. Otherwise, it can emphasize dead skin cells and make touch-ups difficult. The colors seem to come out beautifully. The case is pretty too, which makes me feel good when carrying it around. Since it's truly the epitome of matte, it might be challenging if you're used to only wearing glossy lip products. If you're planning to apply it and go out the next day, it's best to generously apply lip balm the night before. First off, the color is a beautifully warm pink-beige that's absolutely stunning. The moment I applied it to my lips, I couldn't help but gasp in admiration! Unfortunately, no matter how much I tried to moisturize my lips, it still slightly emphasized dead skin cells when applied. The color is beautiful and can be used as a blush alternative. It's great for creating a base lip color. When used as an eyeshadow, it definitely causes an allergic reaction, so I only use it on my lips.
