However, as a first-time retinol user, I was pleasantly surprised by how gentle it was on my skin! I quickly adapted to it and have been using it daily without any blemishes.
ConsThere's not really anything disappointing about it. If I had to pick something, maybe the price? But since it's a product you use in small amounts, I'm still satisfied.
TipIt has quite a rich, hydrating feel, so you can skip the cream step or apply just a light layer. If you find the serum texture a bit heavy, you can apply this after your serum and skip the cream entirely without experiencing any deep dryness!

Some products can cause blemishes if I'm not careful, but this one doesn't irritate my skin at all, so I can use it worry-free. I don't apply it in the morning, but I layer it after my serum in my evening routine. At my age, I need to focus on skin elasticity, and this product does the job well at an affordable price.
ConsYou won't see dramatic results after just a few uses. I'm using it more as a preventative measure against skin aging.

It's so gentle! My skin feels firmer, which is the most satisfying aspect!! I think it's also having a slight effect on reducing dark spots.
ConsWhen used alone, it can feel quite rich. While it does absorb over time, I prefer to mix it with my emulsion. This combination gives me a non-greasy, hydrated feel that I really like.
TipMy skincare routine: Physiogel DMT Essence-in-Toner, followed by Cicanoide Ampoule, then a mix of Physiogel DMT Emulsion and Cicanoide Retinal Cream all over my face. I apply a bit extra cream around my eyes and nasolabial folds. The next morning, my makeup goes on beautifully.

I think I'm already on my third bottle!
ConsI'm not sure if it really has a calming effect on blemishes. For me, it's just so-so.

The texture and scent are nice.
ConsIf I had to point out a downside, it's that I can't really tell if it's working. Maybe I had too high expectations, haha!

As someone who's used retinol creams and S** ointment before, I didn't start with a small amount but applied it like an eye cream. It didn't cause any irritation, blemishes, or redness. It contains ingredients like wax and shea butter that can clog pores, so it feels rich when applied during this season.
ConsTo be honest, I'm not sure about its wrinkle-improving effects yet. I'll probably need to use several tubes to really tell.

I'm on my second bottle now, and I must say the ingredients are excellent and it's great value for money. I can't really tell the difference between this and Dr. Different. While retinol/retinal products can cause irritation depending on concentration, I had no issues with the CJNC cream as my skin was already accustomed to the Dr. Different one. It was very gentle and caused no irritation at all. From other reviews, I've noticed that even first-time users find the CJNC retinal cream less irritating.
ConsThere's nothing I particularly dislike about this product. It would be nice if they came out with a higher concentration version though.
TipFor active ingredients to be most effective, it's best to apply them directly to clean skin after toner but before other moisturizing products. Keep this in mind when applying for optimal results.

It's like a lucky charm for someone like me who's worried about eye wrinkles appearing.
ConsEven with consistent use, I'm still not sure about its effectiveness. As someone with super sensitive skin who doesn't use many skincare products, I found it a bit bothersome to apply regularly.

I used this product on almost every area where wrinkles were visible - between the brows, forehead, around the eyes, nasolabial folds, and even neck wrinkles. It's interesting that the formula is yellow rather than white. Following the instructions, I used it every other day for two weeks. Since I didn't experience any particular irritation or blemishes, I started using it nightly from the 24th day for three days. The formula spreads incredibly well - even a rice-grain sized amount is enough for one area. I applied more generously around my eyes and loved how it felt like it created a protective layer with the perfect balance of hydration and richness. My skin still felt moisturized in the morning. It absorbs well too. As someone with dry skin, I really appreciated how it was moisturizing with just the right amount of richness. It's also fragrance-free. If I don't experience any major blemishes after a month of consistent use, I plan to keep using it.
ConsWhen I first started using it, I felt a slight tingling sensation around my mouth and eyes. The tube packaging with its narrow, long cap doesn't stand upright, which is a bit inconvenient. You have to store it lying down in a drawer or something similar. If I had to mention a downside, it would be that as this is a review for a contest winner, I have to write it after only two weeks of use. Creams aren't medicines, so isn't it difficult to see dramatic changes in just two weeks? Even the product instructions suggest using it for a month. Anyway, after two weeks of use, I haven't noticed any significant changes in my skin.

Aging skin. No particular blemishes from oils or specific ingredients. ♡Tried this product as it contains a good balance of functional ingredients I regularly use like niacinamide, adenosine, retinal, retinol, bakuchiol, as well as moisturizing components. ♡Having used Vitamin A products before (once experienced near dermatitis from high concentration products), I was able to use this without any particular irritation or adjustment period. ♡Used on entire face in order of toner-essence-"this product"-cream+oil. Used every other day only once at first, then daily thereafter. (★Important: Adjust amount and frequency gradually based on individual sensitivity and redness) ♡Reason for recommendation: While retinol (Vitamin A) products can be light-sensitive and potentially irritating depending on concentration, I think this product is great for consistent daily retinol skincare. It's particularly good for safe use in spring and summer when UV index is high and outdoor activities increase, compared to stronger high-concentration (Stiv-A) products.
ConsMore caution than disappointment. While retinol is a proven effective ingredient, it can be highly irritating and light-sensitive. Though this product is much gentler compared to high-concentration ones, I recommend researching retinol usage and precautions separately before use. -Avoid using retinol with copper peptides, AHA/BHA, or ascorbic acid. (Increases skin irritation) -Don't use a large amount from the start expecting quick results. Gradually increase amount and frequency as your skin adapts, avoiding irritation. -Recommended for nighttime use only, and it's absolutely essential to apply sunscreen thoroughly during the day!
Tip-If redness or burning sensation occurs, soothe with aloe gel. -If application after toner or essence causes stinging and redness, apply after emulsion or moisturizer. Move to pre-moisturizer application once skin becomes accustomed. -Focus on regeneration and hydration, similar to post-dermatological treatment care. Layer products: toner (with centella, etc.) + regenerating essence (with EGF, etc.) + retinol product + aloe gel or soothing moisturizer + moisturizing cream (with ceramides, cholesterol, fatty acids) + oil (vitamin E synergizes with vitamin A) *For combination dehydrated or oily skin, try non-comedogenic (pore-clogging index 0) oils like squalane, safflower seed, hemp seed, or raspberry seed oil.
