I've already been using a low concentration retinol (Innisfree) and adapted to it, so I picked this up. ☆It's crucial to start with a low concentration retinol☆ Maybe because I applied this over toner and a low-molecular hydrating serum, or perhaps because my skin isn't sensitive, I experienced no irritation whatsoever~ No redness or dead skin cells either. When applied, it gives the skin a slightly yellow tint (since the cream is yellow), but hey, it's for nighttime use, so no big deal! + Review after about 3 weeks of use! Update: The concentration is lower than I expected. It's higher than Innisfree's, but doesn't quite reach an effective dosage? So after adapting, I started applying ☆two layers☆. The results are even better!!!!! I tried three layers yesterday, and even with acne-prone skin, nothing negative happened. I'm extremely satisfied as my forehead wrinkles have significantly improved
ConsI was surprised when my package arrived... I ordered two retinal creams, but they came in an enormous plastic bag. Paper packaging is more common these days... I applied it under my eyes this time, and there was a slight stinging sensation in the evening
TipThe photo below isn't from using this retinol! After hydrating and calming my skin, I've been consistently applying retinol, and honestly, I don't even need to visit the dermatologist anymore. I originally went to a dermatologist, but my skin got worse. I got a refund and used that money to switch up my skincare products. No regrets!

Excellent absorption 2. No distinct scent, suitable for anyone sensitive to fragrances 3. Noticeably less irritating compared to other Vitamin A creams 4. Contains not only retinal but also adenosine for wrinkle prevention, inspiring confidence in its anti-aging properties ▶️Repurchase Thoughts Recommended for those who experienced flaking or skin reactions with other Vitamin A creams
Cons1. May cause blemishes for those with sensitive skin 2. Tingles if applied too close to eyes 3. Retinoid concentration not specified
TipFor those with oily skin, it's highly recommended to apply only on areas with wrinkle concerns!

I tend to furrow my brow a lot, so I have some early signs of wrinkles on my nose bridge. I usually apply eye cream there with the leftover product. But with this, I feel like I can apply it anywhere and prevent wrinkles - it's such a reassuring feeling! I don't know if it's just psychological because that's what it claims, but it gives me a sense of relief. And you know what? I think it's actually having a real effect on my wrinkles. I'd definitely recommend this to anyone who's concerned about wrinkles or interested in preventing them! Plus, the amount you get is really generous! You only need to squeeze out a tiny bit each time, so I think this tube will last for ages. It's from K-beauty, and it has this slightly fluorescent green tint that makes it feel like you're applying a medical product. Though I can see how some people might find that off-putting if they're not used to it.
ConsI applied it yesterday and I think some got into my eyes. They started stinging and tearing up non-stop. Be careful not to apply it too close to your eyes! Also, I read the instructions carefully, and there are quite a few 'don'ts'. It's a nighttime product, and for the first two weeks, you're supposed to use it only every other day, then daily after that. I understand they're being cautious about potential skin issues, but some of these precautions seem a bit much for someone new to these products (or maybe it's just me). It feels like there's a lot to worry about. You must wear sunscreen during the day and you can't use exfoliating products alongside this. So if you use this for a year, does that mean no exfoliation for a year? I might be misunderstanding, but that's what it says on the packaging.
TipBe careful not to apply it too close to your eyes and use only a small amount at a time!

Generally tolerates minerals, but some natural extracts from seaweed, fruits, and plants (like white mulberry bark) cause small blemishes or itchy hives. Dry skin with uneven texture. - Reason for use: As I'm getting older (37), I've noticed some deeper wrinkles appearing. A friend recommended retinol and retinal, so while searching for ingredients on Hwahae, this cream caught my eye. The cica ingredients were slightly concerning, but not enough to cause an allergic reaction, so I decided to try it. - Usage period: 4 days, used 4 times. The review deadline feels quite tight... It's only for nighttime use, and I'm reviewing before really feeling the effects. Please keep this in mind. - Application: Five stars for how it applies. It feels cool and hydrating. The texture is similar to a famous eye cream for face from another brand, but slightly thinner like an ointment. - Absorption: After applying, it transforms into a slippery texture that requires some effort to absorb. This might be due to my extremely dry skin that doesn't easily absorb moisture. Most skin types should find it absorbs well. I usually just go to sleep, and by morning it's fully absorbed. - Wrinkles: Fantastic for wrinkles. Worth using just for this! While it's not visibly noticeable yet, the eye wrinkles that used to bother me when wearing makeup are less noticeable now. Impressive results after just four uses! - Soothing: The cica seems to be included for other ingredients' benefit. In my case, I didn't notice any significant soothing effects. After the third use, I did get one small blemish.
ConsIt stung my eyes a bit. For initial adaptation, they recommend using it every other day, so I've only applied it four times. It's disappointing that I can't provide a more thorough review. After application, my face looks a bit yellow (though this is unavoidable). There were quite a few ingredients that didn't agree with my skin. (Shea butter, stearates, beeswax, alcohol, etc.) One small blemish appeared, but considering everything, that's not too bad!
TipLike with all products, consistency is key for seeing results! Don't forget it's for nighttime use only. Focus on applying it to wrinkles, almost as if you're filling them in. Apply it carefully, like you would a primer.
