It doesn't feel thick or cakey, but rather gives a nice tone correction. I have a light complexion (21 shade) with both redness and yellow undertones. - The texture is smooth and moisturizing! It's as easy to apply as an emulsion, not thick or heavy at all. - While it has a high SPF, the ingredients are good and it causes minimal skin irritation. When I had seborrheic dermatitis flare-ups, I felt a slight tingling when applying sunscreen. Otherwise, despite having sensitive skin, it seems gentle and non-irritating.
Cons- It's quite rich in oils! It feels moisturizing when applied, but over time, the oil comes to the surface - that typical sunscreen residue feeling. As the moisture dries and the oil rises, it might feel a bit drying. With my combination skin, this level of oiliness actually felt moisturizing and was fine for me! - The emulsion-like texture makes it a bit slow to absorb when applying the recommended amount.
TipThis is my second bottle! I recommend this product for combination skin types. If you find sunscreens either too drying or too oily, make sure to properly hydrate your skin in your base skincare routine.

Even after applying makeup, my skin doesn't feel dry.
ConsI didn't find any drawbacks. I'm planning to make this my go-to product.

I absolutely love it!
ConsI'm really, really disappointed that it doesn't have any brightening effects to even out skin tone.
TipDon't apply too much at once. If you use just a little bit at a time, it works wonders!

It's not sticky at all and has a texture like spreading whipped cream, gliding on smoothly. It has a thick consistency that doesn't drip, but contains some oil-like substance that allows for a silky application. - There's hardly any white cast. However, if you don't control the amount well when applying to your face, you might notice a slight white cast. - I didn't experience any blemishes on my skin. Given that they emphasize 20 ingredients-free formulation, it seems suitable even for those with super sensitive skin.
Cons- The scent is really... extremely strange and lingers. What's worse, it doesn't dissipate quickly and stays on your face for a long time. It's like a sharp, artificial fragrance that can make you feel nauseous if you smell it for too long. - If you apply too much of this and put foundation on top, the foundation starts to peel off after a while. It's disappointing, especially since protecting our skin from friction is crucial these days with daily mask-wearing. Of course, if you control the amount well and let it absorb thoroughly, it won't lift. But in busy mornings, there's no time for absorption. I prefer formulas that don't lift no matter how much I apply, so this aspect was a bit disappointing. - The price is reasonable and the product itself is decent, but I probably won't purchase it because of the scent. It seems like it's the smell of the ingredients themselves since there's no added fragrance, but if you're particular about scents like me, make sure to test it thoroughly before buying.

The texture is slightly runny for a sunscreen. It applies smoothly without feeling thick or heavy. The product claims no white cast, but there's a slight whitening effect when applied. For those who prefer a bit of a white cast like me, it might be a tad disappointing, but it's great for those who don't want any. The scent is a mix of typical sunscreen with a hint of cucumber - a bit herbal, but not overpowering. On days I used this, my makeup applied well and lasted longer. It also seemed to help with dryness, though I'm not sure if it's thanks to this or just my skin condition. (It's similar in hydration to The Saem Eco Earth Power Sun Cream that I usually use.) Perhaps due to its clean ingredients, I didn't experience any blemishes.
ConsIt feels moisturizing at first, but... alas! It seems mineral sunscreens are destined to be drying. On days when I only used this sunscreen, I could feel the deep dryness setting in by evening.
TipMake sure to layer your skincare properly before applying sunscreen! Since it can be drying, I mix it with a bit of moisturizer. This helps my foundation or cushion apply better and keeps my skin less dry until nighttime (relatively speaking).

I have combination dehydrated skin with uneven texture, large pores all over my face, and rough skin. The application is smooth. It's not thick but rather moisturizing. It absorbs quickly. I haven't experienced any skin reactions after using this. I think it's a sunscreen that focuses on the basics and does them well.
ConsI usually use sunscreens with makeup base properties, but this sunscreen didn't pair well with my Hanyul cover foundation. My skin doesn't look clean even with makeup on, and it tends to break down faster and more noticeably than others. I definitely had to be careful with the amount I applied to make sure my makeup would last longer on top of it. It's not a matte type, but more of a hydrating one.

Here's why: Texture and Application: I'm usually sensitive to the stiffness and pilling of mineral sunscreens, but this one spread smoothly without any stiff feeling. Compared to other mineral sunscreens I've tried, it's much more pleasant to apply than the 'Innisfree The Minimum' sunscreen. I'd say its application is similar to 'Dr. G Green Mild Up' sunscreen! White Cast: Of course, there's some white cast compared to chemical sunscreens. However, considering it's a mineral sunscreen, I'd say the white cast is minimal! Hydration: Initially, it feels hydrating without any sticky or oily residue. After a while, it settles into a soft, matte finish. While it's not extremely moisturizing, it's one of the more hydrating mineral sunscreens I've used. If you need to use mineral sunscreen ingredients and want one with minimal white cast, I'd definitely recommend this!
ConsSince I'm not using foundation these days, I was hoping for a bit of a tone-up effect. Unfortunately, the brightening effect was very subtle, which was slightly disappointing for me. (I've noticed that sunscreens that provide a noticeable brightening effect tend to feel drier and less comfortable on the skin, though.)

Here's what I loved when I used this product: (1) Application - The texture feels just like a typical sunscreen! It's neither too thick nor too moisturizing. Plus, it has a lovely scent! (2) White cast - There was hardly any noticeable white cast. The difference between applied and non-applied areas was minimal! (3) Makeup application after sunscreen - Since it's not an overly rich sunscreen, my makeup didn't pill when applied over it! (4) Skin reactions after use - Recently, I had some blemishes from using the wrong skincare product. However, after using this sunscreen, I didn't experience any new breakouts!
ConsI can't think of any downsides to this product! That's why I found it so pleasant to use!

Reviews by The Hwahae Testers undergo the same strict verification process as regular reviews, and if they don't meet our standards, revisions will be requested.ProsHere's a review from The Hwahae Testers! - Scent: This might be a bit divisive... It has a medicinal smell, which is a bit disappointing. I wish it were unscented. While it's not overpowering, those with sensitive noses might want to consider this aspect carefully! - Application: It's neither super smooth nor too thick. The consistency is just right - not too runny or too dense. However, I noticed some pilling when I applied it before my base products had fully absorbed. I'm not sure if this was my error or a product issue, but I later applied it more carefully, allowing for better absorption. - No white cast. I prefer products that glide on smoothly like emulsions, which this isn't quite like. You need to massage it in a bit more. At first, I was worried it might leave my face looking pale, but as I continued rubbing it in, there was no white cast at all! That's definitely a plus. - After-feel: It doesn't feel sticky at all. While it's not super matte after application, the lack of stickiness is great! My previous Japanese sunscreen left my face looking oily, but this one doesn't have that issue. I don't have particularly sensitive skin and have combination dehydrated skin, which is quite common. Overall, I find this product pretty good! I even recommended it to my mom, who absolutely loves it (especially the non-sticky feel and lack of white cast). She's even looking to buy it for herself. It seems the experience varies depending on your skin type. (My mom has oily skin)
ConsAs mentioned earlier, the scent (which is similar to a medicinal smell) and occasional pilling during application are downsides... I'm not sure what causes the pilling, but apart from these issues, it was fine!
TipI'll look for some pro tips after using it a bit more. For now, I'm just following my basic skincare routine, applying sunscreen, and then foundation... it's too common to have any special tips, sorry!

Ingredients I'm extremely meticulous about cosmetic ingredients. Anua's sunscreen is gentle and non-irritating. When I use sunscreens with harsh ingredients, my skin feels uncomfortable and itchy, but this one is fine. 2. Application I usually don't expect much in terms of application from mineral sunscreens. However, I was surprised by how smoothly this one glides on without feeling thick. It becomes powdery over time, which I like because I don't need to apply additional powder. 3. Brightening Mineral sunscreens often leave a white cast, but this one brightens just the right amount. It gives a nice, even complexion without looking unnatural.
Cons1. Slightly Drying Like other people with dry skin, I found it a bit drying. However, it's not a major issue. In fact, during sweaty summers, I prefer this slight glow to an overly greasy look. It might feel more drying now due to the changing seasons. 2. Price The price feels a bit steep for the amount you get. I'd buy it on sale, but I'd have to think twice about paying full price.
TipI mix it with an emulsion, which works great for preventing dryness during seasonal changes. I think it would be suitable for those with oily skin too!
