It's not sticky at all and has a texture like spreading whipped cream, gliding on smoothly. It has a thick consistency that doesn't drip, but contains some oil-like substance that allows for a silky application. - There's hardly any white cast. However, if you don't control the amount well when applying to your face, you might notice a slight white cast. - I didn't experience any blemishes on my skin. Given that they emphasize 20 ingredients-free formulation, it seems suitable even for those with super sensitive skin.
Cons- The scent is really... extremely strange and lingers. What's worse, it doesn't dissipate quickly and stays on your face for a long time. It's like a sharp, artificial fragrance that can make you feel nauseous if you smell it for too long. - If you apply too much of this and put foundation on top, the foundation starts to peel off after a while. It's disappointing, especially since protecting our skin from friction is crucial these days with daily mask-wearing. Of course, if you control the amount well and let it absorb thoroughly, it won't lift. But in busy mornings, there's no time for absorption. I prefer formulas that don't lift no matter how much I apply, so this aspect was a bit disappointing. - The price is reasonable and the product itself is decent, but I probably won't purchase it because of the scent. It seems like it's the smell of the ingredients themselves since there's no added fragrance, but if you're particular about scents like me, make sure to test it thoroughly before buying.

If you check my other reviews, you'll see I always speak my mind. This sunscreen is excellent at controlling oil. It's probably its biggest advantage. Even after 8-9 hours of wear, there's hardly any shine. I love this aspect. My previous sunscreen would make me look like I'd just woken up due to its stickiness and greasiness, but with this one, my skin looks and feels matte. This is why I'll likely stick with this product. It's gentle on the skin. As you can see from the photos, it barely causes any blemishes. The only irritation I experienced was on my chin due to ingrown beard hair. Otherwise, my skin feels comfortable when I apply it. Despite its high protection and long-lasting formula, I think it's suitable for daily use. The white cast is just right. I don't like sunscreens with no white cast, but I also dislike those with too much. This product strikes a perfect balance - it brightens my complexion without looking unnatural. Unlike some no-sebum sunscreens that emphasize texture or blemishes, this one seems to smooth everything out and provides a natural-looking skin correction. The application is smooth. Unlike some mineral sunscreens, it doesn't pill or emphasize dead skin cells when you spread it. It feels incredibly moisturizing during application. For a mineral sunscreen, its texture is top-tier. There's no pilling, no residue, and no emphasis on flaky skin. It's truly impressive. The packaging is sleek. While ingredients are important, I also care about design. The packaging is clean and well-designed, and the product doesn't get messy around the cap. It's a small detail, but important to me, and I'm satisfied with it.
ConsThe scent might be divisive. Personally, I'm not a fan. It smells like pink Himalayan salt toothpaste. It's not off-putting, but if it's an artificial fragrance, I'd suggest removing it. A larger size is needed. I love everything about this sunscreen and plan to use it long-term, but the amount is too small. For someone like me who applies two layers, it might only last a month. Please add a 100ml version for season-long use.
TipI find patting the product in works better than spreading it. Spreading doesn't distribute it evenly, so patting is generally better. However, if you prefer to spread, the texture is smooth enough to do so. Applying two layers gives a natural skin-like finish with thorough protection. The first photo shows my skin before using the sunscreen, and the second shows it after 1-2 weeks of use. These were taken with an iPhone front camera without any editing. As you can see, there are hardly any blemishes. I'm definitely sticking with this for the foreseeable future.

Absorbs well without feeling heavy, great application 2. High-quality ingredients 3. No white cast, looks natural 4. Moisturizing but leaves a soft, matte finish 5. Didn't cause any blemishes 6. Easy to control the amount used
ConsEverything was fine, but if I had to nitpick: It has a slight rubber-like scent. And it's a bit pricey to buy with my own money.
TipFor best results, exfoliate to remove dead skin cells before applying. Also, make sure to cleanse thoroughly when removing it.

It spreads evenly without clumping, with a slightly rich feel. After about 8-10 minutes, it settles into a matte finish. As I typically use many skincare products, I didn't find it drying. On the contrary, it felt quite hydrating. There's no white cast, but as it becomes matte, I noticed a slight brightening effect, which I really liked and found very satisfying. I had been using a sunscreen that was too oily for my liking, but this one is different. The matte finish and lack of pilling made me appreciate it even more.
ConsThe scent is a bit unusual. How to describe it... It's like adding a drop of strawberry syrup to the alcohol in a spirit lamp? You might notice it when first applying to your face, but it fades quickly. Just something to keep in mind. + When I first applied it to the back of my hand, the smell was overwhelmingly strong, which was quite unpleasant.
Tip※ When applying makeup over this sunscreen ※ ※ I started applying makeup about 10 minutes after applying the sunscreen, once it had set to a matte finish. ※ 1. With a hydrating foundation that has a slightly matte finish: When I applied this foundation, I didn't experience any pilling, but I was surprised to see that the area between my eyebrows broke down faster than usual. 2. With a completely matte BB cream: I thought it paired well with matte products. This BB cream usually feels a bit drying on my combination skin after a while, but with this sunscreen underneath, it looked matte but felt hydrated. 3. With a matte concealer: Highly recommended! Just using a bit of concealer for light coverage works great. This combination lasted the longest and looked the cleanest. Even if you use a matte, high-coverage concealer, it works well because the sunscreen provides hydration. Lately, I've been doing my makeup this way and then lightly patting some powder on top.

It has a medicinal smell, which is a bit disappointing. I wish it were unscented. While it's not overpowering, those with sensitive noses might want to consider this aspect carefully! - Application: It's neither super smooth nor too thick. The consistency is just right - not too runny or too dense. However, I noticed some pilling when I applied it before my base products had fully absorbed. I'm not sure if this was my error or a product issue, but I later applied it more carefully, allowing for better absorption. - No white cast. I prefer products that glide on smoothly like emulsions, which this isn't quite like. You need to massage it in a bit more. At first, I was worried it might leave my face looking pale, but as I continued rubbing it in, there was no white cast at all! That's definitely a plus. - After-feel: It doesn't feel sticky at all. While it's not super matte after application, the lack of stickiness is great! My previous Japanese sunscreen left my face looking oily, but this one doesn't have that issue. I don't have particularly sensitive skin and have combination dehydrated skin, which is quite common. Overall, I find this product pretty good! I even recommended it to my mom, who absolutely loves it (especially the non-sticky feel and lack of white cast). She's even looking to buy it for herself. It seems the experience varies depending on your skin type. (My mom has oily skin)
ConsAs mentioned earlier, the scent (which is similar to a medicinal smell) and occasional pilling during application are downsides... I'm not sure what causes the pilling, but apart from these issues, it was fine!
TipI'll look for some pro tips after using it a bit more. For now, I'm just following my basic skincare routine, applying sunscreen, and then foundation... it's too common to have any special tips, sorry!

Reviews by The Hwahae Testers undergo the same strict verification process as regular reviews, and if they don't meet our standards, revisions will be requested.Pros*The Hwahae Testers review* First off, my skin is typically oily with blemishes, but I'm currently on acne medication which has made it almost dry. I had to overhaul all my skincare products... ugh. Oh, and I have super sensitive skin, so I'm always on the hunt for gentle products. 1. Texture: It's a mineral sunscreen but applies incredibly smoothly!! It's just like an emulsion, spreading easily with a few swipes. 2. White cast: Absolutely none! I'm so thrilled about this! 3. After application: Right after, you might think, 'Huh? It's a bit oily?' but give it a moment and it settles to a nice, balanced finish. It doesn't make your skin feel tight either, so it should be perfect for summer use. 4. Skin feel: While there's no white cast, there's a subtle evening of the skin tone. Though this might be because I have a darker complexion... I'm about a 24-25 in the N range. 5. Ingredients: I haven't noticed any new blemishes from using this... I did get a few pimples right before my period, but I wasn't sure if it was from this or hormones. I even asked my mom and sister, and they both said they didn't experience any irritation... 6. Makeup application: Foundation or cushion applies smoothly on top without any pilling. 7. Glow: At first, you might think, 'Whoa, that's too much shine!' But after patting it in, adding concealer, you're left with a beautiful glow. (Coming from someone who's currently going foundation-free) I have blemishes but my skin is dry from medication, so I've been looking for a hydrating mineral sunscreen... and this is seriously amazing! The ingredients are great, with no additional breakouts! I absolutely recommend it! I'm planning to stick with this one!
ConsThe scent... the scent isn't great. It's like... you know that weird buttery smell some old lipsticks used to have? It smells like that. But the scent disappears quickly after application... So even though the scent is a bit off, all the other benefits are so good that I definitely plan to repurchase!
TipIf you apply this after thoroughly hydrating your skin, it absorbs even better! And I think this product could work for almost any skin type if you consider your skin's needs and prep accordingly... If you have dry skin, make sure your skincare is fully absorbed (this is crucial) before applying, and you won't feel dry at all... Of course, if you have oily skin, do the opposite.
