If this is a brightening moisturizer, it would be great as a makeup base for those who wear cosmetics.
ConsThe white cast is more noticeable than expected. Since I don't wear makeup often, it's not quite suitable as a sunscreen alternative.

For someone with slightly darker skin like me, it gives that radiant, almost photoshopped effect.
ConsI recently tried this based on an Olive Young recommendation, but like many Hwahae reviews mentioned, the white cast is severe. It doesn't look natural at all, more like I've caked on makeup. I won't be repurchasing. Next time I'm at Olive Young, I'll have to ask about a brightening sunscreen without the white cast. What's worse, if you look closely after applying, you can see dead skin cells on your face. I was shocked when I noticed it. It's giving total kabuki vibes.
TipIf you're determined to use this product, it might suit those with naturally lighter complexions better. I've gotten quite tan from not wearing sunscreen, so when I apply this, it looks unnatural. I'd recommend using only a tiny amount. The white cast can make it look excessively cakey.

Applies smoothly without feeling thick, making it easy to spread. Has a brightening effect, so it's decent even when worn alone on bare skin.
ConsMay feel quite oily for those with oily skin. The original sunscreen can leave a white cast, so it needs to be applied carefully and thoroughly.

The color blends naturally with your skin. It offers a slight brightening effect along with sun protection, making it perfect for daily use.
ConsDue to the white cast, it can look pale if applied too thickly. Highly recommended if you're just looking for a subtle brightening effect with a thin application.

Probably suitable for those with muted or yellowish complexions
ConsIt's simply a physical sunscreen with a white cast... I have fair skin with redness, and this makes my skin look odd. Not recommended

I'll make sure to leave a more detailed review with photos once my exam period is over and I've used the product more. • When I used the product, I didn't experience any eye irritation or skin sensitivity. • The application is smooth, not thick or sticky. The texture itself isn't heavy, but rather has a slightly fluid consistency that glides on easily.
Cons• Despite being called a tone-up sunscreen, the brightening effect is barely noticeable. I actually felt less of a tone-evening and brightening effect compared to sunscreens that leave a white cast. • I have combination to oily skin that gets shiny over time, but this product has such a strong glow right from application that it's difficult to wear alone. It either needs a powder on top or works better under a matte foundation.
