Perfect for this dry weather! It feels like a silky protective shield of hydration. When my skin feels parched, I layer it on about 3 times. The best part? It never feels heavy, and I always want to apply more! The scent is reminiscent of fresh green herbs - so therapeutic! Just a heads up - the formula is quite runny. Cup your hand when pumping to prevent it from dripping everywhere! Layer it 3-4 times and your skin will feel as hydrated as if you've just done a sheet mask!

It's incredibly gentle...!! Whether your skin is acting up or you have wounds, it doesn't sting at all. Plus, it does a great job of locking in hydration. It's fantastic as a base product. It's surprisingly hard to find skincare that actually does its job well, but this one's a winner. I wish I'd stocked up during the sale! Not only is the bottle sturdy and pretty, but the pump is also really impressive. Sometimes pumps can be frustrating, either not dispensing enough or suddenly gushing out too much, making you use them extra carefully. But this one has just the right balance of strength and smoothness. Once I finish this, I plan to refill the bottle with a larger toner. The amount control is so convenient. I can say with certainty that this has never caused my skin to react badly. The price is a bit steep for the amount you get. I'll have to keep an eye out for sales - it's great, but just too expensive. There's also a slightly unusual scent. It's not overpowering, but if you're sensitive to fragrances, you might want to avoid it. Like everyone else probably does, I pat it into my skin with a 'tap-tap-tap' motion for better absorption.

After cleansing, applying just this product alone made my makeup go on smoothly and looked quite nice! It's disappointing that if I only apply it once, the dry areas on my cheeks become even drier. For best results, cleanse before bed, apply 2-3 layers on dry areas, then in the morning after washing your face, apply 1-2 layers. I loved how it has a pleasant scent and absorbs well into the skin. It doesn't leave my skin feeling dry. As for Huxley, I'm a bit disappointed with the ingredients. Though it's called an essence, it's so non-sticky and absorbs so well that you could use it in place of your toner! It leaves your skin feeling hydrated and seems to create a great base for makeup too! It absorbs well and keeps my skin hydrated. I've gone through several bottles. It's great for summer. It's quite pricey for the amount you get... So I usually stock up during sales or when it's discounted. It works well when you layer it multiple times.
