While there's a slight white cast, I actually consider that a plus for me.
ConsIt might make oily skin types look shiny. There is a bit of a white cast, but it fades away after a while.

I have oily but dehydrated skin, so while solid sunscreen compacts are convenient, they often leave my skin feeling dry over time. However, thanks to the Essence Pocket technology, this feels incredibly hydrating from the moment you apply it. It glides on smoothly, and as time passes, it provides an explosion of moisture without any deep dryness. It's not just a sunscreen; with the essence inside, the hydration is truly impressive! - Good coverage Unlike sunscreen compacts that require reapplication with a puff and can sit on top of the skin, this one adheres quickly with just a few light pats. There's minimal white cast, and it naturally covers and evens out your complexion over time. I work in a field requiring long-term mask use, and it maintains good staying power even after wearing a mask. Just remember, as it's primarily a sunscreen, expect natural tone evening rather than full coverage of redness, pores, or blemishes. - Cooling sensation I have super sensitive skin that quickly turns red with incompatible products, but this applies without irritation and even feels refreshingly cool. It's soothing for my skin that easily flushes with heat. - No eye irritation.
Cons- As I have oily skin with severe dehydration, I noticed some natural oil build-up over time. Those with very oily skin should note that there might be some oiliness due to its hydrating properties. - Being a solid sunscreen, you need to control the amount with the puff directly. It can be a bit tricky to manage the quantity when it gets deeply hollowed or when too much comes off.
Tip- For those with oily skin, applying a light dusting of powder after use can maintain a shine-free, fresh look all day long! - When using the puff, don't press too hard. A gentle tapping motion is enough to pick up the right amount of product.

The subtle brightening effect is perfect for going out with just a bare face and sunscreen. 2. Being a compact sunscreen, there's no need to wash your hands after application. It's great for quick touch-ups when you're busy (I personally dislike frequent water contact due to very dry hands). Despite its clear drawbacks, the convenience factor of point 2 is a big plus for someone as lazy as me, which is why I've repurchased and continue to use this product.
Cons1. It's difficult to control the amount, making me question if I'm getting adequate sun protection. 2. Those with oily skin reportedly dislike it as it can make skin appear greasy. 3. The formula tends to attract dust easily.
TipIt works well for dry skin types if you apply a good base of skincare products first. I noticed some pilling around the nose area when applied to slightly dry skin.

It tends to leave a slight white cast, giving the skin a brighter finish, making it perfect for those days when you want to go out with just sunscreen on.
ConsThe packaging is seriously flimsy. The lid doesn't even close properly and comes loose. It's quite rich, which leads to excessive shininess.
TipDon't use too much product. After application, finish with blotting paper or powder for best results.

I've gone through several bottles already.
ConsBeing combination dehydrated skin, it's a bit disappointing that oil still comes through, but I love how hydrating it is, so I'm still using it regularly. I wish we could purchase the puff separately.

ConsI thought it was hydrating, but it's so oily for outdoor use. It gets into my eyelids, completely soaks oil blotting papers, and causes an oil explosion. I bought it thinking it was water-based, but it's a total failure!
TipRecommended for those with extremely dry skin who need more oil in their complexion

Is it hydrating? 2. Does it brighten my complexion? (Not white cast, but a radiant look) 3. Does it avoid causing blemishes? This sunscreen perfectly meets all three standards! The application is smooth, and thanks to the cushion, it spreads evenly. I love how incredibly hydrating it is. Despite my super sensitive skin, I've had zero blemishes. It stays put for hours, maintaining its effectiveness. Plus, it excels at its primary job - providing excellent UV protection!
ConsIf you have oily skin, you might find it a bit rich. That's really the only consideration to keep in mind.

The brightening effect is decent - at first it looks quite light, but it seems to blend with your skin tone over time. It's moisturizing (recommended for dry skin, okay for winter use).
ConsThe coverage isn't great (not recommended for acne-prone or blemished skin). It gives a glow that can look oily (not ideal for oily skin types, and a bit much for summer). There's slight pilling. The product tends to attract a lot of dust (which makes you not want to apply it...).
TipIf you brush off some of the dust before applying, it's not bad. As I have oily skin, it works better if I skip the base layer. In the last photo, the right side shows where it's applied. In conclusion: Recommended for those looking for a sunscreen to touch up with, a sun pact without the characteristic smell, or if you have dry skin and want a natural brightening effect.

The creamy texture spreads evenly without clumping. It's perfect for quick application on busy mornings. As someone who wears a mask all day at work, this product is a great alternative to foundation when you want some coverage without feeling suffocated. It provides just enough brightening effect to wear on its own.
ConsDue to its moisturizing nature, it tends to attract dust easily. While it's not a major concern, the white color of the product might make the dust more noticeable. After a while, it can make the skin look a bit shiny, but this seems to be common with most sunscreens.

Usually when I use sunblock, my forehead gets as shiny as a polished stone due to the oiliness, and after about a week of use, I tend to get small blemishes popping up. First off, I found the Long Protection Essence Sun Pact to be quite gentle. On the day I first used it, I had 2-3 inflamed pimples and a few small blemishes, but I applied it as usual after my skincare routine. Surprisingly, those blemishes didn't seem to get any worse at all. Now, a week into using it, my skin is clear and trouble-free! The next great point was the brightening effect! My friend even commented on how amazing the tone-up was. It makes your complexion look brighter and clearer than your original skin tone. My skin tone usually ranges from dull to reddish, but thanks to the mint, those issues were nicely covered. And the cooling effect! I tend to have a lot of heat in my face, but thanks to the refreshing cooling effect, I felt soothed and my mood improved! I have ☆Power☆ oily skin☆, so when I saw another review mentioning a matte finish, I wondered if it would be the same for me. For my very oily skin, it just felt moisturizing. Still, it was nice that I didn't need to apply powder over it like with other sunblocks! It's even reliable enough to wear under a mask! To summarize: 1. Gentle enough to use even on troubled skin 2. Natural brightening effect 3. Cooling effect 4. Finish that's neither too dewy nor too matte I highly recommend this ×100 for those with skin types similar to mine, and for those who want to go foundation-free due to skin troubles or mask-wearing in these times!
ConsAs I mentioned above, being naturally oily-skinned, I noticed that by lunchtime, my skin got quite oily. You can touch it up and it's fine again, but the matte finish doesn't last very long (this is purely subjective from an oily skin perspective!). Given the balm-like texture, it tends to attract a lot of dust as shown in the photo! I'm not too bothered by this, but if you hate messiness and prefer to use your products neatly, I wouldn't recommend this. 1. For those with very oily skin, it may get oily as the day goes on 2. The balm texture attracts a lot of dust
