Easy to apply Unlike tube sunscreens that leave a greasy residue on hands, requiring washing afterwards, this compact sunscreen is super convenient. Just swipe with the puff and you're done! Despite being a solid compact, it feels moisturizing when applied and glides on smoothly without irritation, even with careless application. 2. Natural 'no-makeup' look possible With proper amount control, you can achieve a natural 'bare skin' look. It even covers blackheads to some extent and gives a soft-focus effect, allowing you to go out looking presentable. 3. Plays well with most foundations I've tried it with various foundation types - dewy, matte, creamy, and watery - and it worked well without pilling or sliding. Those who use whitening or tone-correcting bases before foundation could easily substitute this product instead. 4. Not drying My cheeks have been extremely dry lately, feeling tight when I smile regardless of wearing makeup or not. After using this product, that tightness is noticeably reduced and my skin feels more comfortable. Must be due to its high essence content.
Cons1. More white cast than natural brightening With my shade 17 skin, it can look a bit ghostly if I'm not careful with the amount. The dilemma is that sunscreen should be applied generously for proper protection, but to look natural, you need to use less. This trade-off between sun protection and a natural look is disappointing. 2. Takes time to set and absorb While this is common for moisturizing sunscreens, the prominent white color makes it more noticeable when it rubs off or transfers upon contact. Compared to other products, it requires a bit more time to fully set.
TipTo minimize powder fallout, instead of patting the puff onto the compact, try swiping it in one direction.

It's refreshingly different from the typical dryness of foundations. While many point out the white cast as a drawback, I actually love the bright tone it gives. It feels like it provides solid UV protection, which is fantastic. Unlike other sunscreens that are a hassle to reapply, this one is easy to touch up. The compact form makes it convenient to check how much product is left and is more user-friendly compared to other sun cushion formulations.
ConsIt's such a shame that they're reformulating this product when the current version is so good. That's the most disappointing part.
TipWhile it has a hydrating formula, make sure to prep your skin with an appropriate skincare routine before applying. Since it can wear off easily, remember to reapply frequently to maintain sun protection.

While some sun cushions can feel heavy on the skin, this one feels comfortable while providing natural coverage without excessive white cast. It's perfect as a daily foundation-free option. The cooling effect is a refreshing bonus every time you apply it.
ConsApart from the product's tendency to collect dust due to its form factor, there are no real downsides. It absorbs well and has great hydration. The only 'trap' is that it's so good, you might forget to apply your skincare products underneath!
TipGiven the essence pact format, avoid patting it on immediately. First, use the puff to thinly spread the product over your skin, then gently pat it in. This technique will give you a beautiful skin finish.

The moisturizing effect prevents any cakey feeling, making it comfortable to wear.
ConsIt's a bit too soft, so it tends to crumble when applying with a puff. I left it in my bag during a short walk under the hot sun, and it quickly melted and turned mushy.

Highly recommended for dry skin!
ConsYou need to use a pressing motion for it to apply well. The included puff tends to absorb and then release the product, so I switched to a coated puff and it worked much better.
TipI've written my thoughts above.

Reviews by The Hwahae Testers undergo the same strict verification process as regular reviews, and if they don't meet our standards, revisions will be requested.Pros⚠️This review is based on a month of use after receiving the product through Hwahae⚠️ Skin type: Oily with texture, dead skin cells, thick skin, shade 23, lots of peach fuzz Product features: Cream-type hybrid sunscreen, comes with a soft, fine puff Overall: A perfectly powdery and convenient sun pact for the mask-wearing era, but with clear drawbacks. It's neither great nor terrible - just average. Pros: 1. Applies moisturizing and finishes with a powdery feel 2. Provides a subtle brightening effect without being excessive 3. Fragrance-free, which is nice 4. The case looks fresh and cool, though not entirely to my liking!! 5. No eye irritation or clumping when applied
Cons1. Extremely weak against sweat and oil 2. Feels slippery when reapplied more than once 3. Emphasizes dead skin cells and texture 4. Common drawback of cream pacts: product surface attracts dust 5. Occasionally causes small bumps after use
TipFor those sensitive to dust sticking to the product, I recommend using a spatula to apply it

The creamy texture spreads evenly without clumping. It's perfect for quick application on busy mornings. As someone who wears a mask all day at work, this product is a great alternative to foundation when you want some coverage without feeling suffocated. It provides just enough brightening effect to wear on its own.
ConsDue to its moisturizing nature, it tends to attract dust easily. While it's not a major concern, the white color of the product might make the dust more noticeable. After a while, it can make the skin look a bit shiny, but this seems to be common with most sunscreens.

Reviews by The Hwahae Testers undergo the same strict verification process as regular reviews, and if they don't meet our standards, revisions will be requested.ProsPhoto 1: Original skin Photo 2: After one thin layer Photo 3: After second layer, visible to the naked eye - Smooth application, not sticky at all, incredibly easy to apply - Decent as a base before makeup (not as perfect as Es*e Splash, but still good) - Natural white cast (most satisfying level among sunscreens I've tried) - Suitable for sensitive skin: no redness or irritation, no tiny bumps - Doesn't irritate my oily skin with excess oil - Cooling effect: not enough to lower skin temperature, but feels refreshing when applied - Long-lasting: white cast persists for over 6 hours, seems to stay put unless you rub your face (holds up well even with masks)
Cons- The texture feels like an essence-pact, so it attracts dust easily - They promote it as heat protection, but I'm not sure about its protective effects. With recent controversies in the sunscreen industry about SPF ratings, I'm uncertain about its definite effectiveness - Still, as a sunscreen nomad, it's a top-tier product. I'd use up the refill and even recommend it to family
TipKeep the lid closed as much as possible to prevent dust (even while applying) Be careful not to let dust stick to the cushion and wash it frequently

I have dry skin, and in these times of wearing masks all day, the area around my mouth and cheeks tends to get so dry it feels like it's cracking when I get home from work. Because of this, I rarely wear makeup, just applying sunscreen or a thin layer of cushion foundation. But since trying this product, my mornings have become so much easier! Instead of sunscreen, I simply apply this sun pact after my skincare routine. It doesn't leave my skin feeling dry, so I can finish with just this one product. Since I'm wearing a mask all day, there's no need for touch-ups, making this perfect for my current routine!
ConsI've used the Age Twenty's tone-up pact before, and it caused severe eye irritation. So I was half excited, half worried about this product. While it wasn't as bad as the tone-up pact, as time went on, I noticed more eye discharge and some discomfort in my eyes. It's a common issue with sun care products, and unfortunately, this one falls into that category for me. It's not severe enough to stop me from using it, but it does leave me feeling a bit disappointed.
TipWhen you apply it to your skin, there's a pleasant cooling effect that feels great! It's perfect for summer use, and being in pact form, it applies evenly. It goes on slightly white at first, so you need to pat it in for absorption. Once it's fully absorbed, it doesn't leave a white cast and matches your natural complexion!

I loved the slight cooling effect when first applied to the face. Since sun protection needs frequent reapplication, it's great that you can quickly apply this even when you're out. It also naturally evens skin tone, so on days when you don't feel like wearing makeup, using just this isn't a bad option at all.
ConsThe downside is that dust tends to settle quickly on the sponge and product. Also, after some time, it started to gather around areas like the sides of the nose.
TipMake sure to double cleanse on days you use this product!
