I've been using it for a month now. While it doesn't provide perfect blemish coverage since it's a sunscreen, it does a decent job of evening out my skin tone, so I'm quite satisfied with it.
ConsHowever, as time passes, I can't help but notice that my skin tends to get a bit shiny.

Even when applied by hand, as shown in the photo, it absorbs well. Interestingly, it looks even prettier after some time when the natural oils come through, rather than immediately after application.
ConsMy skin tone is 21 Neutral, Yellow-based, but this still doesn't brighten my complexion significantly. Those with fair skin might find it unusable. When applied, it gives an old-fashioned makeup look, reminiscent of vintage cosmetics. It doesn't brighten and illuminate like a foundation, so it doesn't enhance the natural skin color. It feels more like a sunscreen substitute. For those with oily skin, expect increased oil production over time.
TipOn days when you don't feel like wearing makeup, I recommend mixing this with a white-toned or different-toned sunscreen! For my skincare routine, I layered Bioderma Hydrabio Toner followed by their Essence Emulsion before applying this product.

ConsIt's too thick and the coverage is quite heavy, making it difficult to apply generously like you would with sunscreen

It's not irritating to the skin, so you can use it with confidence. Even with just one application, my skin doesn't feel dry, and I love that I don't need to layer multiple base products. The color is a natural skin tone, allowing for subtle complexion correction. Though it's slightly thick, it spreads easily when applied. It has good absorption and can simultaneously even out skin tone and cover blemishes.
ConsThe volume is less than expected, which might make repurchasing difficult.

The texture feels incredibly hydrating... almost like a BB cream? Even though it's a sunscreen with tone-evening properties rather than a base makeup product with sun protection, I loved that I could apply a generous amount without it caking or looking odd. The shade is about a 22-22.5, which worked well for me as I usually use foundation in shade 23. While foundations and BB creams typically need to be applied thinly for a natural look, this product allows you to slather on as much as you would with regular sunscreen and still achieve a natural finish. Alternatively, I've found that applying about half my usual amount of regular sunscreen and then layering this on top gives the most natural result - that's how I've been using it lately. I appreciated how it didn't emphasize dead skin cells, absorbed well, and left my skin feeling moisturized.
ConsAs someone with oily skin who always finishes with powder after sunscreen, I noticed this product becomes a bit more shiny than regular sunscreens after some time.

Cons- As time passes, it naturally breaks down less messily than foundation or BB cream, but it can still settle into areas prone to creasing like around the nose, forehead, and along the hairline, looking a bit untidy. - There's quite a bit of white cast, making it difficult to apply the recommended amount for sun protection alone. You have to spread it thinly, accepting it as a foundation-free sunscreen option.
TipWhile the SPF is high, it's challenging to apply enough to get the full protection advertised. I'd recommend this to those looking for a minimal makeup look - just skin, eyebrows, and a hint of lip tint.

It truly allows for a foundation-free look. The absorbs well, making it easy to apply even when your skin isn't at its best.
ConsI really love this sunscreen, but unfortunately it causes blemishes to appear. If it weren't for the breakouts, it would be my holy grail sunscreen. Also, it tends to get oily quickly. If you have oily skin, it might not be suitable for summer use!

The color itself is a perfect calm beige that matched well with my 22 shade complexion. The staying power is decent, and it evens skin tone nicely. It feels powdery, so there's no transfer, and it has good lasting power!
ConsThe downside is that it seems to depend on your skin condition. Based on my skin (which has some acne scars), it felt a bit thick and heavy when applying. After application, it tended to clump around the scarred areas and emphasized dead skin cells. It might work better for those with better skin than mine or those who apply a thorough skincare routine. However, personally, I tend to use these brightening moisturizer sunscreens on days when I'm too lazy for a full makeup routine and just want to quickly apply something before heading out. So, I didn't find it particularly easy to use... I think the absorption of other Dewytree sunscreens was better than this one.

It brightens naturally without feeling heavy, which will be great for summer use. With high SPF and good ingredients, I'll definitely be reaching for this often.
ConsWhile it perfectly covers small blemishes, you'll need a concealer for dark circles or larger imperfections.

(My mom thought I was only wearing sunscreen and ended up snagging one for herself!)
ConsYou need to be careful with the amount you apply! If you use too much, it can start to pill. Those with extremely dry skin should make sure to apply a solid base of moisturizing products before using this.
TipI squeeze out about half a finger joint's worth and pat it in with a cushion puff. It looks amazing if you brighten your T-zone with concealer on top of this base. Also, if you layer on multiple coats of moisturizer underneath, it works perfectly even in the dead of winter!
