While it doesn't create a rich lather due to its creamy, dense texture, the cleansing effectiveness is still quite good.
ConsThe scent is reminiscent of a medicinal smell, which might be hit or miss for some people.
TipIt works great as a first cleanse in the morning and as a second cleanse in the evening skincare routine.

ConsThe disappointing aspect was the scent, which reminded me of a medicinal smell. I found that unpleasant. If it weren't for the fragrance, I think it wouldn't be bad at all.

I've been using Unpa toothpaste because it doesn't contain surfactants, and I'm really satisfied with it. So I trusted this brand and gave it a try! The texture is like a slightly runny foam cleanser, which is perfect for morning cleansing. My skin had become rough due to wearing masks, but since I started using Unpa for my morning cleanse, my skin has become softer and my complexion seems brighter. Unpa must have some brightening properties... maybe it's a specialized brightening cosmetic? Anyway, it's incredibly gentle. You can feel that gentleness while washing your face... it's remarkable! If you're the type who likes that squeaky clean feeling after washing, you might be slightly disappointed. This gives more of a soft, silky feeling after cleansing. Personally, I love that it doesn't seem to irritate my skin :) It's a matter of preference... I'll definitely repurchase when I run out!
ConsThe scent... it smells too much like hand sanitizer... sigh.
TipI recommend it for second cleansing or morning cleansing!

After washing, I experienced severe deep dryness, with excessive oil only in the T-zone. Lather: Before trying Lactocica, I used a thinner cleanser. At first glance, this one seemed too thick to lather well (see photo). Surprisingly, it produced an abundance of foam - so much that I initially worried I'd wasted product. Even a small amount creates plenty of lather for a thorough cleanse. Scent: Personally, I'm not a fan of the fragrance. Being sensitive to scents, it reminds me of a medicinal smell. Those who prefer unscented products might appreciate it, though I prefer subtle fragrances. Cleansing effectiveness: As shown in the photos, it removed mascara, eyeliner, lip tint, eyeshadow, and foundation effectively. Everything except mascara came off easily, with mascara requiring about two cleansings. I deducted one star because one item didn't come off completely. Irritation: There was absolutely no irritation. The rich lather gave a sensation of deep pore cleansing rather than any discomfort. Post-cleanse feel: With my previous cleanser, my face would feel tingly and experience deep dryness shortly after washing. With this one, even after 3-5 minutes, there's no tightness. I can't stress enough how well it lathers - it's almost like a Kabuki mask level of foam, which is excellent for cleansing pores. I'm extremely satisfied!
Cons※ Those who dislike the squeaky-clean feeling after washing might not enjoy this. Also, if you're sensitive to medicinal scents like me, you might want to reconsider. ※
TipWhen using for the first time, don't squeeze out too much despite its thick consistency. It really produces a lot of foam! Highly recommended for those with eye sensitivity, deep dryness, or very oily skin!

Recently, due to mask-wearing, I've been experiencing itchiness and breakouts not just on my chin, but also on my cheeks and jawline. Texture: I expected a transparent gel-like consistency for this low pH, gentle cleanser that's supposed to balance the microbiome. Surprisingly, it has a creamy texture with a nice bounce to it. I've used the Perfect Whip from the neighboring country before, and while this isn't quite as thick, it's not bad at all. It's creamier than other low pH cleansers I've tried, and it even lathers up! I like how it seems to retain moisture better than expected. Cleansing effectiveness: I always worry if low pH cleansers can cleanse thoroughly, but this one seems to do a good job! I usually apply sunscreen thickly, so I typically do a first cleanse followed by a foaming cleanser. Of course, it removed everything cleanly, and even when used alone, it left my skin feeling refreshed and bright. It doesn't leave that squeaky-clean feeling, which makes it great for those with dry skin. I appreciated that it cleanses without stripping away my skin's natural moisture.
ConsScent: Is it because of the low pH? There's a slight medicinal smell. While it makes me feel like it might be good for my skin, I sometimes find myself taken aback by the scent and try to avoid smelling it while cleansing.
TipHere's a little tip: As mentioned above, it's not a deep cleanser, so those who prefer that squeaky-clean feeling might find it lacking. If that's the case, you can do what I do - use an oil cleanser, cleansing water, or wipe for your first cleanse, then follow up with this for a more thorough clean feeling! Also, having used Perfect Whip before, I sometimes feel like the lather could be more abundant. If you want rich, fluffy foam, use a foam net if you have one! If not, use a generous amount - more than a fingertip's worth. It'll create plenty of foam then!
