As someone who enjoys wearing makeup these days, I find it great to use this product after wiping my face with cleansing water when I'm doing light makeup. I'm satisfied with its gentle formula and the moderate amount of foam it produces. It's a bit disappointing that it might struggle to remove heavy or point makeup effectively. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinMay 22, 2021
This gentle cleanser effectively removes impurities without leaving your skin feeling tight or stripped. For products with glitter or waterproof formulas, you'll need to double cleanse. It's also great for your morning cleansing routine. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinAcne SkinApr 13, 2021
I have oily skin that tends to break out with a few blemishes during my menstrual cycle. While I don't typically wear heavy makeup, this cleansing foam was sufficient to remove my lightly applied cushion foundation, powder, blush, and brow products. The foam was incredibly soft and rich, creating a nice lather. As someone sensitive to fragrances, I was pleasantly surprised by its unscented formula, which actually increased my trust in the product's claim of being mild. After all, overpowering scents can often be a drawback in skincare. To sum up the positives: 1. Great lather 2. Fragrance-free 3. Effective cleansing without being harsh 4. Doesn't leave skin feeling overly dry after washing. Those seem to be the main points! It didn't seem to effectively remove waterproof eyeliner or stubborn mascaras. For the best results and a refreshing finish, I'd recommend using a cleansing oil or water as your first step to remove makeup overall, then following up with the Mild Clear Cleanser as your second cleanse. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopy SkinSensitive SkinApr 12, 2021
The thick texture makes it more economical than thinner formulas of the same volume. You can create a dense lather with less product compared to runnier cleansers. The rich foam feels great and cleanses effectively. It removes regular foundation and matte eyeshadow well. I tested it on half my face against a cleansing wipe, and both sides were equally clean. On lazy days, you can skip double cleansing! As someone with dry skin, I always experience some tightness after washing, but this low pH cleanser is gentler. Recommended for those who aren't sensitive to fragrances, avoid products with added perfumes, or are looking for a low pH cleanser. As everyone has mentioned, it has a distinct scent. While I prefer fragrance-free products since fragrances aren't beneficial ingredients, this might not appeal to those who prioritize pleasant scents. It's not offensive, but it's not pleasant either. It has the slippery feel characteristic of low pH cleansers - keep that in mind when using. It doesn't remove waterproof mascara, leaving dark residue around the eyes and lashes. An eye makeup remover is essential for mascara. Shimmer eyeshadows occasionally leave traces even after cleansing. I didn't notice any special benefits from the probiotics in this product. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinApr 7, 2021
This cleanser has a slightly thicker consistency than a cream, almost like a balm. A small amount produces a good lather. Since I've been only applying sunscreen lately, using a makeup-removing cleansing foam often left a residue on my face. Doing it twice made my skin feel tight and dry. However, using this as my second cleanse not only cleanses well but also leaves my skin feeling soft and smooth, which is perfect for my combination skin. The downside is that it doesn't seem to effectively remove full makeup when used alone. It struggled with removing mascara and eyeliner. For those wearing makeup, I'd recommend using a deep cleansing product first, then following up with this cleanser for your second cleanse. This way, you'll experience both thorough cleansing and that soft, smooth skin feeling.
