I was looking for a mineral sunscreen stick, and this is exactly what I wanted. For a mineral sunscreen, it doesn't leave as much of a white cast as I expected. I'm satisfied with the high-quality ingredients. I'm still using it, so I'll need more time to determine its effectiveness. - el**********Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedApr 2, 2025
It's rare to find mineral sunscreen in stick form, so I bought two and used them well. I like the moderate white cast and how it absorbs nicely on the skin. I used it for touch-ups, as I was concerned that the stick type might not provide complete UV protection. - ch******Normal SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedMar 29, 2025
This zinc-only sunstick glides on smoothly. It enhances your complexion beautifully and leaves your skin feeling velvety soft. Unlike organic sunsticks, this zinc oxide formula can leave a white cast, so you need to rub and pat it in thoroughly. - jj********Oily SkinSensitive SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessRednessRecommendedFeb 10, 2025
No irritation and no stinging sensation around the eyes. It applies smoothly without feeling greasy, leaving a soft and powdery finish. There's some clumping when applying, which makes it a bit inconvenient to spread evenly. You need to pat it again with your fingers to distribute it properly. - sc*****Dry SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedJan 5, 2025
I've tried 5 different sunstick brands and left reviews for all of them on Hwahae! I bought the Make P:rem one because it's a mineral sunscreen, which isn't common for sunsticks, so I was curious. My skin type is extremely dry, so I choose sunsticks that are rich in moisture and oils. For a mineral sunscreen, it's not matte but maintains a soft, velvety feel. However, after about 5 hours, I do start to feel some dryness. To prevent this, I reapply every hour. The texture applies smoothly. As for the scent, it's a subtle, chemical-like floral fragrance. It's so faint that only I can smell it, and others around me can't detect it. It might be a love-it-or-hate-it kind of scent. My likelihood of repurchasing is about 20%. Having to reapply every 1-2 hours is a bit inconvenient. It's a mineral sunscreen, so it's unavoidable, right? There's a white cast. The convenience of a sunstick is being able to apply it quickly without getting it on your hands or needing a mirror, but because of the white cast, you can't apply it multiple times. You need to blend it in, which means getting it on your hands. The white cast is the only downside. It has many advantages otherwise! If you apply it twice around the dark circles, the white cast actually helps brighten the area! Also, since mineral sunscreens can be drying, applying a generous amount of moisturizer beforehand prevents extreme dryness. These are my personal tips for using this product effectively. - wl********Oily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedDec 5, 2024
As someone with combination dehydrated skin prone to redness and blemishes, I usually hate heavy creams and sunscreens. But this one is great! It's not suffocating, doesn't leave residue on my hands, and feels light on the skin. It's decent overall, except for the price. The lack of whitening effects makes it nice for everyday light application. - ef*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedNov 29, 2024
The stick format makes it incredibly easy to apply. When you put it on, your skin instantly brightens and feels soft and velvety. Due to the container design, there's some product that goes to waste, which is a shame. If you don't have a solid skincare base, your skin might feel dry and tight after use. - e7*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedNov 28, 2024
I chose this product for its excellent ingredients. It's convenient and easy to use. I love that it doesn't irritate my skin. It feels a bit thick when applied. I'm not sure how effective the sun protection is. The cap is a bit tricky to open and close. It's perfect for slipping into your pocket and applying on the go. - so**********Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedNov 6, 2024
Being a mineral sunscreen, it leaves the skin feeling fresh and matte. The size is just right, making it convenient to carry around. As for application, you need to apply the sunstick to your face and then spread it a bit with your hands. It has a strong, typical sunscreen scent. Since it's a mineral sunscreen, it does leave a white cast. - gr*********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedSep 27, 2024
The gentle ingredients make it comfortable for even sensitive skin prone to irritation to use all day long. The absorption is quite good, and when applied before foundation or concealer, it seems to act as a decent primer. It leaves the skin feeling soft and helps control oil to some extent. There's a slight unnatural white cast! Also, while it feels fine on the face, there's a slightly heavy feeling when applied to the neck or arms. If it looks too white after application, gently patting it with a cushion puff seems to help blend it in.
