There's a subtle medicinal scent, but it's so faint that it's not bothersome. This fragrance... I feel like I've encountered it in Avène products before, but I can't quite remember which one. For a cream, the texture feels quite thin, but strangely, it doesn't have that emulsion-like quality. Instead, it's more like a cream mixed with water, which feels a bit unusual. I agree that the gentle ingredients make for a mild product. However, it's so mild that for a regular 30-something guy who's not too savvy about skincare, it doesn't leave much of an impression, which is a bit disappointing. Overall, it's quite decent and, most importantly, gentle and pretty good. I used to use Le Crème Concentré cream, but since I have dry skin, I had to apply it twice and it still felt quite dry after a while. It absorbs well and quickly with a smooth application. Great for use before makeup in the morning. It's unscented, non-irritating, and provides adequate hydration. One night, I accidentally applied too much before bed, and I was amazed at how good my skin looked the next day! The tube container stays compressed as you squeeze it, and the large dispensing hole makes it a bit difficult to control the amount. Also, the cap is hard to close tightly. This seems more suitable for spring, summer, and fall rather than winter.

Gives a nice glow that makes your skin look radiant. The scent is an issue. As many have pointed out, it would be better if it had no smell at all. It has this unpleasant, melted plastic odor that makes you hold your breath while applying. Even after it dries, you can still smell it if you put your nose close to your skin. It leaves skin feeling stiff and dry. Similar to how some sunscreens make your skin feel tight after the moisture evaporates. Not great for dry, mature skin. Those with thin, dry skin might notice some redness appearing in spots in the morning. It's not a perfect match for East Asian skin that lacks peach fuzz. Might work better for babies or Westerners with fine facial hair. You'll need separate hydration. It applies lightly and smoothly. I'd recommend this formula for those with very dry skin more in spring and summer than winter! It's gentle and I didn't experience any allergic reactions! The fragrance and smooth application are lovely! It's a great cream for those with dry skin to use during summer. As someone with dry skin, it's too drying to use alone in winter.

I've been using Concentré for years and loved it (always before makeup). But since the ingredients aren't great for long-term use, I decided to try Sensitive. It's winter, so I plan to apply it generously like a sleeping pack before bed. I was pleasantly surprised by all the samples! They seem like they'll suit me well. I'll use the Concentré samples when applying makeup. The expiration dates on the samples are a bit confusing. As someone with super sensitive skin that reacts to many cosmetics, I was worried when my face was all red and irritated. But after trying this, it calmed everything down! I used up the whole tube and my skin improved so much. I used to get random redness flare-ups all the time, but this truly is a gentle giant. If you're a sensitive skin boss, you absolutely need to try this. People have even noticed how much better my skin looks! None whatsoever. This is the best cream I've ever used. There are no drawbacks, so I'm not sure why I need to write more than 20 characters...
