I've tried various Dr. Oracle products and currently have many in my vanity. The only line I hadn't tried was the brightening one, and I had extremely high expectations for this ampoule in particular. 💙 It's moisturizing. It's surprisingly full of hydration. I always worry that brightening products might be drying, but thanks to the hyaluronic acid content, it gives a subtle hydrated glow. 💙 The dropper is easy to control, and it doesn't drip down the bottle when using, making it hygienic. 💙 With 5% niacinamide, it provides a brightening effect while simultaneously soothing the skin with bisabolol. Unlike other mediocre brightening and anti-wrinkle products, this one feels like it's truly focused on brightening effects. 💙 After absorption, it doesn't cause pilling and is easy to use both morning and evening. It's great that it doesn't turn your face yellow like some vitamin products. 💙 The amount is generous, so it should last quite a while. Considering the ingredients, the price isn't bad either.
ConsThe scent is too strong. I prefer unscented products, and this one has a strong fragrance, so it's not to my liking. I wonder if they really needed to add fragrance... It's a bit disappointing. It doesn't absorb as quickly as I expected. I had to pat it in for quite a while. However, when I applied cream in the next step, it didn't cause pilling. Brightening effect? Hmm, I'm not sure yet... But I'm using it now for prevention since the sun is so strong. I haven't really noticed my skin tone becoming brighter or improved. It could be because my face is already quite bright naturally. I think I'll be able to tell better when I use it during vacation.

I feel uneasy without it. It doesn't necessarily lighten the complexion, but it gives a healthy glow? Like that fresh-faced look after a good night's sleep or right after cleansing in the evening! Hydration: A must-have for combating deep dryness in winter. Absorption: It glides on smoothly, similar to hyaluronic acid-focused ampoules, but differs in that it absorbs completely over time. It spreads well, so a small amount covers the whole face. Gentle: As someone with extremely sensitive, blemish-prone skin, this is one of the few ampoules that doesn't trigger breakouts. Personally, having tried the entire Dr. Oracle ampoule line, I find they generally excel at their intended effects. This one, however, is the cream of the crop. I want to prevent it from being discontinued, so I hope many people discover and use it. But then again, I selfishly wish I could keep it my little secret to avoid stock-outs and price hikes. Still, it's such a great product that I think everyone will know about it eventually... Ah, the dilemma!
ConsDropper: It only fills about 2/5 of the way, which is a bit frustrating... Price: Compared to when it's on sale, the regular price feels like it's gone up quite a bit, which is slightly disappointing... But considering its performance, I'm also grateful. It's a bit of a mixed feeling.
TipIf you have dry, sensitive skin and are looking for an effective brightening product, you absolutely must try this. ***Dr. Oracle! Please don't discontinue this. Don't change the formula either. I'm dead serious.***

They used to include ingredients like PEG, PPG, and shea butter, which made me hesitant to use their products despite other good ingredients. But now they've improved their formulations, and I'm impressed! I'm currently using their retinol product, and this time I tried their brightening product. It's a solid choice with great texture and application. It contains beneficial ingredients even for blemish-prone skin. There's no dryness or stickiness, and the consistency is excellent.
ConsIt's a bit disappointing that the concentration of key ingredients is on the lower side. For effective brightening, niacinamide should be at least 20% concentration, and arbutin, which is a top ingredient for evening skin tone, is missing from the formula. I wish they'd remove the fragrance too.
TipMy routine involves applying a hydrating ampoule or essence with low molecular weight hyaluronic acid after toner, both morning and night. Then I layer on brightening essence, anti-wrinkle essence, and moisturizer, followed by eye cream and a firming cream. This brightening essence is worth trying at least once. Dr. Oracle's other lines also contain effective ingredients. It's a safe bet for addressing skin blemishes, dark spots, acne, and as a brightening essence.

The milky texture absorbs well and feels great on the skin. Best of all, I didn't experience any irritation or blemishes, so I could keep using it! While it didn't dramatically brighten my skin, it did help even out my complexion nicely.
ConsThe dropper dispenses a bit too little product, which can be slightly inconvenient.
TipSince it's a brightening product, it's a good idea to use a separate hydrating essence alongside it.

Instead, I'm now using the Niabright ampoule. The formula isn't heavy, yet its moisturizing power is satisfying. After absorption, there's a light rich feeling left on the skin. However, it's not uncomfortable. The heart-fluttering floral scent lulled me into a deep sleep, allowing for a pleasant night's rest. (I suffer from insomnia.) Texture: ★★★★☆ Slightly runny but doesn't flow easily. Scent: ★★★★★ A deep floral fragrance like one you'd smell alone in a quiet flower garden. Doesn't linger long. (Similar to scents found in women's perfumes) Hydration: ★★★★☆ Absorbs quickly after application, but leaves a slight stickiness. It's not unpleasant and even this soon disappears. Brightening: ★★★☆☆ Although I haven't used it for long, my skin looks noticeably brighter after morning cleansing compared to before. (Note: No changes in lifestyle or skincare routine) I think the usage period isn't sufficient yet to fully evaluate this function.
ConsThere's a sticky feeling after absorption. It's not uncomfortable, but it's not pleasant either. (Touching your face is 'not recommended') The hydration is insufficient when using just one ampoule. It's specified to use as the last step of your skincare routine, but I'm lazy and only apply it once. However, it feels about 2-3% lacking in moisture for single use, and about 38% excessive for double application.
TipUse as the final step after basic skincare Primarily use in the evening Apply to the back of ears and neck as well

It's not sticky at all and provides just the right amount of hydration to combat deep dryness. I highly recommend this for combination dehydrated skin!
ConsUnfortunately, due to the fragrance, the scent was a bit strong for me. The brightening ingredients also made my skin feel a bit tingly.
TipIf you have dry skin, this alone might not be enough. Promise yourself to layer on a rich cream generously for extra moisture.

It's not too thick and there's absolutely no stickiness - it absorbs smoothly, leaving the skin soft and hydrated. For an ampoule, it feels lightweight, and considering it's a brightening moisturizer, it's quite hydrating! As someone with dry skin, I applied a hydrating serum before this product, followed by a cream and oil after, but I was pleased that it still didn't feel dry. Also, perhaps because I've been using other niacinamide products, I found this gentle and non-irritating. It's mild, smooth, hydrating, and lightweight. However,
ConsThe fragrance is really off-putting. I'm sensitive to fragrances and prefer fragrance-free products for my face, so it's disappointing that this contains added scent. What's worse, the fragrance isn't even pleasant. It's strong as soon as you open the cap and lingers with a subtle yet dizzying scent while applying. Fortunately, the fragrance didn't cause any blemishes. Despite containing 5% niacinamide, I didn't notice much brightening effect. I've heard that the skin-brightening benefits of niacinamide are researched and verified at a 5% concentration, so higher percentages aren't necessarily better. That's why I was curious and excited when I was selected to test this 5% product as part of The Hwahae Testers. While it has many advantages over famous competitors - it absorbs better, is more hydrating, and has other benefits - I was disappointed with its functional aspects. Still, it might be good for consistent, gentle, and lightweight use without the discomfort of stickiness... if only it weren't for the fragrance!

My face and neck complexion seems clearer overall? I applied it on the back of my hand, and my sister says even my hands look brighter. While the effects aren't dramatic (the photo appears brighter due to lighting, exaggerating the before-and-after difference), the best improvement I've seen is reduced deep dryness! Usually, I apply toner, emulsion, and cream before bed, but I often feel dry at night. With my combination dehydrated skin, I typically layer more cream or emulsion. After using this ampoule, I sleep with my skin feeling hydrated. There's definitely less dryness, and my skin stays moisturized until morning. I think with consistent use, I'll see even more brightening effects. Scent - It smells lovely. I wish there was a perfume with this ampoule's fragrance!
ConsIt pills like dead skin cells when applied over the orange Hera sunscreen. There aren't many significant downsides.
TipApply by gently patting it in. It spreads well, making it great for facial massage too.

My face tends to be dry but also gets quite oily, and this product made my skin feel hydrated. It also created a great base for makeup, allowing it to apply smoothly - I loved that! I'm currently sharing it with my mom, and we're definitely planning to repurchase!
ConsThe dropper doesn't dispense much product, which was a bit disappointing... But aside from that, everything else was great!
TipI found that spraying it on a face towel and using it as a mask was fantastic! It really boosted hydration and seemed to improve skin elasticity too!

Here are my thoughts on the ingredients and overall experience: 1. Incredible hydration! When it touches the skin, it feels wonderfully moisturizing without being sticky. The best part? Unlike other products that left my skin feeling dry by morning, this one maintained its hydrating effect even after I woke up. That was truly impressive! I was using a famous department store brand before, but this product's long-lasting hydration surprised me even more. 2. It brightens your complexion. While it doesn't exactly whiten your skin, it definitely evens out your skin tone! I applied it morning and night, and my husband tried it too. We both noticed our complexion brightened by about one shade! My husband actually saw more dramatic results than I did. I highly recommend this for anyone with a darker complexion! 3. Direct application without using hands The product comes with a dropper, allowing you to apply it directly to your face. I love this feature! I once heard that dry hands can affect how moisturizing a product feels on your face, so as someone with dry skin, I really appreciate being able to apply it without using my hands! These three points are the biggest advantages in my opinion. I think this will be a holy grail product for both me and my husband! I really want to recommend this to anyone with dry skin!
ConsTo be honest, I didn't find any significant drawbacks while using it. However, I wish the bottle was even bigger! I want to slather it on generously!
TipApplying it directly to your face without using your hands seems to help maintain the hydration better than squeezing it onto your hand or the back of your hand first.
