Because of the high concentration of niacinamide, it's best to take a break if your skin is irritated or feeling hot.

1. Not hydrating enough on its own
In winter or during seasonal changes, using just this ampoule can lead to deep dryness. If you have dry skin, you'll need to layer it with a moisturizing cream to really feel the benefits.

2. It's more about 'brightening' than spot removal
It doesn't noticeably remove existing pigmentation or dark spots, but rather gradually evens out the overall skin tone.

3. Pump bottle makes it hard to use up completely
Sometimes it's difficult to pump out the last bit of product when there's still some left. That's a bit disappointing.

With 5% niacinamide, it noticeably reduces that dull skin feeling. I especially noticed a subtle brightening effect on redness and blemish marks, giving an overall clearer complexion.

2. No breakouts even on sensitive days.
I have super sensitive skin prone to allergic reactions, but this ampoule didn't cause any tingling or itching. It's a good match for me. The ingredients are clean and it's fragrance-free, so it's not overwhelming.

3. Light texture + great for layering
It's not too sticky or rich, so you can apply multiple layers or use it with other ampoules without any pilling.

The scent is too strong. I prefer unscented products, and this one has a strong fragrance, so it's not to my liking. I wonder if they really needed to add fragrance... It's a bit disappointing.

It doesn't absorb as quickly as I expected. I had to pat it in for quite a while. However, when I applied cream in the next step, it didn't cause pilling.

Brightening effect? Hmm, I'm not sure yet... But I'm using it now for prevention since the sun is so strong. I haven't really noticed my skin tone becoming brighter or improved. It could be because my face is already quite bright naturally. I think I'll be able to tell better when I use it during vacation.

Still, it's such a great product that I think everyone will know about it eventually... Ah, the dilemma!

I'm using this along with a mask from the same brand that has similar ingredients. When I use the mask and this product before bed, the synergistic brightening effect is absolutely incredible!
