It was originally bought for my baby's dad, but since he wasn't using it, I decided to give it a try. I usually have very dry skin, so I tend to avoid mineral sunscreens and stick to chemical ones, but I had to make an exception... However, by applying a moisturizing base beforehand, it didn't feel too dry, and true to its name 'Sun Animal', this product didn't apply stiffly. It somewhat changed my perception that mineral sunscreens are always drying. I also liked that it didn't leave an intense white cast, but instead gave a natural brightening effect. As someone who applies sunscreen daily, I think this is a pretty good choice.
ConsWhat was a bit inconvenient was that it came in an opaque plastic container, not even a tube. It was impossible to tell how much product was left inside. When it stopped coming out with a 'pshh' sound, I tapped it on my palm and some came out. This continued for a few days, making me think, 'Huh? Is there still a lot left?' Then again, while applying it for a while, it wouldn't come out with a 'pshh' sound... This happened about 5-6 times before it was truly, finally empty. It's really inconvenient not being able to see how much product is left.

Other sunscreens would dry out quickly, which was troublesome, but this one, being a sun emulsion, doesn't dry out even after wearing it for a long time. I'm going to stock up on this. If you have dry skin, you must try it. It's especially great for winter.
ConsThere's nothing I dislike about it. If I had to nitpick, maybe it's that it doesn't brighten the complexion dramatically?
TipAfter applying, if you dust on a bit of powder, it feels fresh while your skin stays hydrated, which is really nice. If you have dry skin, you absolutely must buy this. I mean it!

The scent is like a pleasant powder fragrance - I love it! As for the application experience: It glides on smoothly and feels gentle on the skin. I really appreciate how it maintains a moisturized feeling even after application. It provides a slight brightening effect, about half a shade lighter. The texture is more of a cream than an emulsion!
ConsThe packaging is a bit inconvenient. You can't see how much product is left, and it takes quite a bit of effort to squeeze it out, which is frustrating. There's a slight tendency for the product to pill on the skin. As someone with sensitive eyes, I experienced some eye irritation when using this.

It provided a slight brightening effect while being the only sunscreen I needed when going out. I have atopic dermatitis, and my skin would react even to just sunscreen! I've tried all those highly-recommended sunscreens, but nothing compared to this one. I've bought several bottles of it!
ConsI really don't understand why they decided to renew it. I've tried the renewed product, and while it seems to provide more hydration, which is nice, it feels too watery. For some reason, when I went out after applying the renewed product, my skin condition worsened significantly. I applied the sunscreen on my face, neck, and arms, but the atopic dermatitis that was originally only on my face spread down to my neck. In my opinion, the pre-renewal version is far superior.

It's great that there's no white cast, and it slightly evens out the complexion, making it a decent base for makeup.
ConsIt doesn't wash off completely with just foam or soap, so double cleansing is a must. This makes the cleansing process a bit tedious and cumbersome for a sunscreen that needs to be applied daily.

There's absolutely no feeling of heaviness, and even with my sensitive skin, it doesn't cause any blemishes. While it does have a slight white cast due to the mineral sunscreen, if you keep patting it in, it naturally brightens your complexion to a pleasant level.
ConsThere's not much to complain about. I'm just worried it might be discontinued since I don't know many people who use it.

Plus, it seems to be a gentle product without any irritation!
ConsIt was disappointing that it tended to settle into the creases around my nose. Also, it seems to get quite oily as time passes.

Contains gentle components that minimize skin irritation. As it's a mineral sunscreen, apply thinly in multiple layers to avoid clumping. Beautifully evens skin tone when applied in two thin layers with a sponge puff and allowed to absorb. Using a sponge for even application results in a lovely brightening effect.
ConsCan't understand why they unnecessarily added fragrance. It would likely sell much better if it were fragrance-free. Many people might avoid purchasing it due to the presence of three potential allergens.
TipIt probably won't come off with anything less than an alkaline cleanser as the first step. I tried cleansing water followed by foam, then a low pH foam, but was shocked to still see white spots in my pores. I ended up doing a four-step cleanse, finishing with cleansing oil and low pH foam. I highly recommend using either an alkaline foam or an oil-low pH foam combination for thorough removal.

At first application, it may appear to have a strong white cast, but as you blend it in, it transforms into a natural brightening moisturizer that evens skin tone. The fragrance is also quite pleasant.
ConsIn winter, it can feel a bit drying, so it's important to apply a good moisturizer before using this. As for summer, given my extremely oily skin, I suppose the rich feeling is unavoidable...

Cons• Contains 20 potentially irritating ingredients and allergens, so those with super sensitive skin should be cautious. • After application, it causes intense itching. Both my oily skin and my sister's dry skin experienced the same issue. • As a mineral sunscreen, it doesn't glide on smoothly. • Despite containing various hydrating ingredients, it feels extremely drying after application.
Tip• This is a mineral sunscreen. • It's great for body use as it doesn't leave a sticky feeling.
