I like that it provides just the right amount of brightening without being excessive.
ConsIt definitely gets oily after a while. But it's not just the oiliness - the sunscreen seems to clump together with the oil. Especially if you touch or brush against your face even slightly, it clumps up in that area. That's drawback number one. Drawback number two is that it sometimes feels like it's sitting on top of the skin. It doesn't absorb well. I wonder if all brightening moisturizers are like this, but this one feels like it absorbs the least. Especially if you finish your skincare routine with something rich and apply this on top, it feels even more like it's just sitting on the surface. That's why I only use it in winter and during seasonal changes. I won't be repurchasing. I can't wait to finish this and try something else.

The product evened out my complexion nicely and absorbed well, so I ended up purchasing the full-size version.
ConsI used about two-thirds of it, and while it did brighten my skin, the absorption was practically non-existent. It just sat on top of my skin without adhering at all, so when I put on a mask, it immediately rubbed off where it touched. Of course, being a sunscreen, it doesn't offer any coverage.

It offers a slight brightening effect and has a non-nano formulation. I love how it applies moisturizing but finishes with a soft, matte feel. Even those sensitive to fragrances might find it acceptable as it doesn't have an artificial scent. The large volume for the price makes it excellent value for money!
ConsI'm not sure if it's because of the non-nano formulation or an issue with my skincare routine, but it didn't fully adhere to my face. Instead, it felt sticky and sat on top of my skin, which was uncomfortable and distracting. Around day 2-3, I noticed signs of painful blemishes forming when I pressed on my face, so I stopped using it. Those with super sensitive skin should be cautious when using this product...

A nice, spreadable consistency. - Being fragrance-free, or maybe due to its ingredients, I often teared up when applying other sunscreens. But with this one, it hasn't happened once! - There is some white cast, but it's more natural-looking. As someone with darker skin, I found it to be just perfect for me.
Cons- The oiliness... it's way too greasy! While I do have oily skin, I feel even dry skin types would find it more oily than hydrating. I barely felt any moisture at all. - Probably due to its oiliness, I got some blemishes after using it for just two days. Right after application, it feels like it's sitting on top of the skin rather than absorbing. My hair sticks to it, and it feels uncomfortable under a mask. - Maybe because it's so oily... I hate having stuff on my hands, so I always wash them after applying sunscreen, but this one doesn't seem to wash off easily. It's not like it's waterproof, it just... doesn't come off well. Ironically, it seems to disappear from my face with just a bit of sweat. - So, I'd rate its staying power about 3-4 out of 10.

I used to use Dr. G Green Mild Up Sun Emulsion, but even with a solid skincare routine, I'd get dead skin cells. However, with this product, that doesn't happen. It has a subtle brightening effect that helps cover blemishes and dark spots. It's hydrating and has decent staying power!
ConsIt's a bit disappointing that it tends to settle into the creases around my nose. Applying multiple layers can lead to pilling. --- Lowering my rating from 5 stars to 2... It seems the hydration wasn't sufficient for dry skin in winter. Even after applying Physiogel and coconut oil, the surface still felt dry, with white flakes appearing like dead skin cells. There also seems to be a bit of a white cast.
TipWhen your skin feels extra dry, try applying coconut oil before the sun emulsion!

It seems to last forever! I started using it last summer and it's been going strong for nearly half a year.
ConsJust when I thought I'd found my holy grail sunscreen... Oddly enough, when I use this in summer, sweat just rolls down my face. It's like my skin becomes waterproof or something? The sweat just sits on top and drips off. I've been seriously considering tossing it, and carrying a handkerchief has become a must. It's fine in fall and winter, but please avoid using it in summer!
TipMake sure your skin is well-hydrated before applying. Since this is a mineral sunscreen, I found that if I only used toner and a thin layer of essence, the sunscreen didn't apply smoothly and my skin quickly felt dry. I spray on some mist and quickly apply the sunscreen for best results.

This one not only absorbs well but also keeps my skin hydrated. I love that it provides a natural brightening effect without looking artificial, and the white cast is minimal.
ConsThe pilling... It's only moisturizing on the surface. When I apply makeup, it rolls off like dead skin cells. Despite investing about 10 minutes to ensure my skincare is fully absorbed before applying sunscreen, then drying my hair to give it more time to sink in, it still pills when I put on makeup. I even tried waiting 30 minutes after applying the sunscreen, but it still pills. I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong.
TipMake sure to allow sufficient time for absorption before applying makeup.

What I loved most was the absence of silicone oils. Despite being a mineral sunscreen with gentle ingredients, it doesn't leave my skin feeling dry. I really hope they keep the formula exactly as it is, please!
ConsI'm not sure if it's just me, but I've noticed the outside of the container becomes sticky with use. Wiping it with wet wipes or even alcohol swabs doesn't seem to help.

Although I've only used it for about 10 days and haven't noticed any significant soothing effects, I feel comfortable applying a generous amount even on areas with blemishes. This could be both a pro and a con, but while it's an emulsion, it's not an extremely runny formula. It doesn't drip or make application difficult, but at the same time, you can't spread it as easily on your face, neck, and arms like you might with a lighter emulsion.
ConsThe biggest drawback is the severe white cast. I have combination dehydrated skin and my face has gotten quite tanned over the past few years. I'm not sure if it's an issue with my skin, but even when I adjust the amount, there's a significant white cast that makes it look like it's sitting on top of my skin. It takes at least 20-30 minutes after application for it to start absorbing and looking a bit more natural.
TipIf you're choosing this product for its ingredients, I'd suggest applying it well before going out and then finishing your makeup. It's too white to apply in a rush and head out, like I tend to do.
