This sunscreen was perfect for someone like me who had trouble finding the right one. It's such a shame it's been discontinued! As someone with combination skin, I loved how it didn't leave an oily residue and kept my skin feeling fresh and matte for hours. I'm really going to miss it. It's disappointing that it's been discontinued. Finding a similar product is proving to be quite challenging. This sunscreen seemed to work hard to balance the oil and moisture on my combination dehydrated skin. It absorbed well without feeling sticky, which is rare for sunscreens. The fact that it didn't cause any irritation or blemishes was a huge plus for my super sensitive skin. I'm writing this review after using up the entire bottle. It was originally bought for my baby's dad, but since he wasn't using it, I decided to give it a try. I usually have very dry skin, so I tend to avoid mineral sunscreens and stick to chemical ones, but I had to make an exception... However, by applying a moisturizing base beforehand, it didn't feel too dry, and true to its name 'Sun Animal', this product didn't apply stiffly. It somewhat changed my perception that mineral sunscreens are always drying. I also liked that it didn't leave an intense white cast, but instead gave a natural brightening effect. As someone who applies sunscreen daily, I think this is a pretty good choice. What was a bit inconvenient was that it came in an opaque plastic container, not even a tube. It was impossible to tell how much product was left inside. When it stopped coming out with a 'pshh' sound, I tapped it on my palm and some came out. This continued for a few days, making me think, 'Huh? Is there still a lot left?' Then again, while applying it for a while, it wouldn't come out with a 'pshh' sound... This happened about 5-6 times before it was truly, finally empty. The texture is truly emulsion-like, and despite being a mineral sunscreen, it applies smoothly without feeling heavy. I love it! However, it might be a bit drying for those with very dry skin. There's nothing I can really complain about - I'm extremely satisfied with this product!

It's slightly drying, so I recommend applying a moisturizer or emulsion before using this. The texture is thin, but being a sun emulsion, it has that emulsion-like feel. It leaves a slightly whitish cast, but I used it daily for a brightening effect. This product feels moisturizing when applied, but has a matte finish that's perfect for those with oily skin! I also loved that the matte finish eliminates the need for additional powder. The texture is more thick than runny, making it great for applying not just on the face but also on the body. While it's good for applying on the body, be careful as it can leave slight marks on clothes! Also, because of its matte finish, it might feel a bit drying for combination dehydrated skin like mine, so I wouldn't recommend it for those with similar skin types. The texture is gentle, which is perfect for my dry, atopic skin. It was recommended to me for being mild, and it truly is. It applies smoothly like an emulsion. The scent is also pleasant. However, it leaves a significant white cast, which is disappointing. As someone who doesn't wear much makeup, I bought this for daily use because I needed a slight brightening effect. I like that it provides just the right amount of brightening without being excessive. It definitely gets oily after a while. But it's not just the oiliness - the sunscreen seems to clump together with the oil. Especially if you touch or brush against your face even slightly, it clumps up in that area. That's drawback number one. Drawback number two is that it sometimes feels like it's sitting on top of the skin. It doesn't absorb well. I wonder if all brightening moisturizers are like this, but this one feels like it absorbs the least. Especially if you finish your skincare routine with something rich and apply this on top, it feels even more like it's just sitting on the surface. That's why I only use it in winter and during seasonal changes. I won't be repurchasing. The best thing about this is that it doesn't sting my eyes and subtly evens skin tone. Other sunscreens would dry out quickly, which was troublesome, but this one, being a sun emulsion, doesn't dry out even after wearing it for a long time. I'm going to stock up on this. If you have dry skin, you must try it. It's especially great for winter. There's nothing I dislike about it. If I had to nitpick, maybe it's that it doesn't brighten the complexion dramatically? After applying, if you dust on a bit of powder, it feels fresh while your skin stays hydrated, which is really nice. If you have dry skin, you absolutely must buy this. I mean it!
