The Hwahae First Essence is a product I've been using for years and want to continue using.
Although it is a bit pricey, it is a great first product to apply after cleansing.
Pouring a generous amount and gently massaging it with the palms helps soothe any post-cleansing irritation and leaves the skin feeling comfortable.
It is not a water-based formula but has a slightly viscous texture.
It absorbs quickly and doesn't evaporate right away.
It is great for sensitive skin.

The only downside is that the price is too expensive. And at first, there's a bit of a feeling that it doesn't work as well.

If not for the price, it would be a real life essential! I recommend stocking up on it when it's on sale.

After using the Bio Essence, it seems like the effect can be enhanced by using high-concentration, high-performance ampoules or creams! Also, the Bio Essence and Stem 3 Ampoule give a deep moisturizing feeling to the skin, so it's good to mix them and use as a mist as well!

There are no disappointing aspects, so I have repurchased and am using several bottles!

This product has really been around for a long time, and it's amazing that it's still an Amore Pacific best-seller... I tried it out and realized it's really good... Before using the Bioessence, I had a lot of hidden acne that didn't come to the surface. My skin was dry, but there was oily buildup underneath that wouldn't improve no matter what I used, so I just let it be. But when I first used the Bioessence, I really felt the deep hydration and effective ingredients for the first time! I liked using it so much that I kept it up, and the hidden acne started coming to the surface. It wasn't cystic or anything, but the hardened sebum underneath my skin was coming up like blemishes. After it all came out, my skin texture definitely became clearer and my tone more transparent, so I've kept using it without stopping. It felt like it really activated my stagnant skin all at once. I'd really recommend this to anyone with stubborn closed comedones or severe inner dryness, where nothing seems to penetrate deep enough.

As it's a first-step essence, it doesn't have an especially plump and moisturizing feel compared to other essences. However, it doesn't feel particularly drying either. :)

My skin was neither particularly bad nor good, with combination and periodic skin troubles, but to my surprise... After using it for about a week, following the instructions (soaking a cotton pad thoroughly), my skin tone became dramatically brighter and my skin texture became incredibly smooth. I just added one more essence in the first step, and the improvement in skin texture was so noticeable that I was really satisfied. I repurchased the full-size product and am using it now. I can use different toners, but I've settled on the Iope first-step essence.
