Given its price point, I tried switching to a different toner-like essence for a while, but I noticed my skin texture wasn't as refined. Using this product made me realize just how crucial that first layer on your face really is. It's fragrance-free and has a very slight, almost imperceptible slip to it - like water with barely any viscosity. It's essentially a liquid toner type. The best part? I don't need to do separate dead skin cell management when I use this toner! The price point is a bit high, but it seems to be worth every penny! That's really the only downside I can think of! I don't use cotton pads with this! I just pour a bit into my hands and gently pat it into my skin. A holy grail product I've been using for 4 bottles now, and I want to keep it as a lifelong staple. Despite the somewhat higher price point, it's unbeatable as the first essence to apply after cleansing. Pour a generous amount and cup it in your palms - it calms any post-cleansing irritation and leaves your skin feeling comfortable. It's not a watery texture, but has a slight viscosity. It absorbs quickly without evaporating too fast. Great for super sensitive skin! If I had to fill in the blank for something negative, I suppose it would be the price... What about dead skin cells? When you notice dead skin cells building up, try this after cleansing: first, wipe your face with half a cotton pad, then apply a generous amount of the essence and let it absorb. If it weren't for the price, this would be a true holy grail! I recommend stocking up when it's on sale. The only downside is that it's quite expensive. Also, it can be a bit tricky to dispense at first.

I finally tried it and now I understand why! Before using Bio Essence, I had so many closed comedones that wouldn't surface. My skin was dry, but I could feel these little bumps of sebum underneath. Nothing seemed to help, so I thought everyone must deal with this. But when I first used Bio Essence, I felt the hydration and active ingredients penetrating deep into my skin like never before! The pleasant texture made me want to keep using it, and gradually those stubborn bumps started coming to the surface as blemishes. It wasn't inflamed acne, but rather the hardened sebum that was trapped under my skin finally coming out. Once everything surfaced, my skin texture became noticeably clearer and my complexion more translucent. I've been using it consistently ever since. For me, it felt like it instantly revitalized my stagnant skin. I highly recommend this to anyone struggling with closed comedones, deep dryness, or if you feel like products just sit on top of your skin without truly moisturizing deep down. I have no complaints, which is why I've repurchased multiple bottles and continue to use it! I've been using this holy grail product for over 5 years now. It has a water-like flowing texture - it's literally like water! Whether your skin is good or bad, it tackles deep dryness and absorbs well. With consistent use, I feel my skin becoming clearer and my complexion improving. As someone with super oily skin, it's perfect as the first step in skincare, leaving a refreshingly light feel. I can't even look at other toners - I always come back to this essence. The only downside is the price, but it's a product I simply can't give up. It's that good! It's not great to use with a cotton pad. The best method is to apply it by gently patting it in with your palms. It's also great to spread it on generously before using a sheet mask. Even when my skin is irritated, applying this gives a soothing sensation.

They advertised it as a '14-day miracle', but honestly, I noticed a significant improvement in my skin texture after just a week of use. Even people around me started to notice the difference. The bottle design has been updated to be smoother, but it seems they've removed the measurement lines, probably due to the reduced volume. That's a bit disappointing. It's lightweight and absorbs quickly. I've almost finished the bottle without any blemishes. For dry skin in winter, you might want to apply an additional serum for extra hydration.
