I bought this as a set with the Utheracell Deep Shot device. It can be used together with the device. Usually, when I apply gels like this, my skin stays moisturized until I finish using the device. However, this one dried up quickly. Also, I felt a slight irritation on my blemishes, and the next day, small pimples appeared. Like others have mentioned, the area around my lips is itchy too. Sigh... While the device is good, this product is really disappointing. - b8********Combination SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsJan 19, 2025
This product is recommended for use with the brand's device, so you can consider it as part of a set. I've tried using the brand's beauty device with a regular soothing gel, and it seems the device doesn't necessarily require this specific product to function! I did some research and found that ultrasound gels similar to those used in dermatology clinics are also available for purchase on online shopping malls, including through platforms like Coupang or Naver Smart Store! So you don't have to stick strictly to this product for the device to work properly. (I'm mentioning this because it seems some people online think you must use only this product) I've used both this product and regular soothing gels with the device! Honestly, using this product with the device felt more compatible than just applying aloe soothing gel. It seemed to reduce the stinging and hot sensation? When I used the soothing gel, it felt a bit hotter on my skin. The product itself is a clear gel, similar to ultrasound gel. I felt it was more of a supporting product for using the high-frequency device rather than being an outstanding skincare product on its own. They say it's more effective to apply the gel generously when using the high-frequency device, but the price of this product makes it a bit costly to use liberally! If it were more affordable, I would have continued purchasing it... That's the disappointing part! - kr********Combination SkinAcne SkinDec 27, 2024
I tried this while buying the Medicube Age-R, thinking I might need it, and it definitely feels like it's working well. It's quite hydrating. It's so expensive that using a soothing gel instead might not be a bad idea. It pills a bit like dead skin. The after-feel doesn't suit me, so I always end up washing it off, which is annoying, so I rarely use it. - cv********Dry SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsDark CirclesEnlarged PoresRecommendedDec 8, 2024
This is absolutely top-notch for firming and boosting elasticity. I honestly think there's nothing better for minimizing pores and achieving smooth skin. I'm in love with it since it hit the market! It's a tad rich... But I can tolerate it for the sake of my skin! When used together with the MediCube device, it even helps improve facial contours. - as********Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinNov 14, 2024
I'm not sure what's good or bad about it. I keep it stocked because I think I need it for the AGR device, and it does seem to work better than aloe gel when using the machine, but at this price... The price is absolutely wicked. The device is already expensive, did they really have to make the consumables pricey too? - ji**********Dry SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedOct 20, 2024
I use this as a substitute for ultrasound gel, and it dries a bit slower than the previous one I used. I'm a bit concerned about the lack of information on propanediol (it's the second ingredient after purified water). Try using it as a massage gel alternative. - ps***Dehydrated SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedOct 12, 2024
It's wonderfully hydrating and perfect for use with massage devices. It conducts microcurrents really well. The price is a bit disappointing, and if you're not careful, it can feel sticky... It would be great if they offered more discounts. - ec******Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinOct 10, 2024
Great for use with the MediCube device, with gentle ingredients and a suitable formulation The price point is quite high, and looking at the ingredients, it seems you could use alternatives instead of this specialized gel - gb****Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsRednessRecommendedSep 17, 2024
The MediCube Derma EMS Shot was really helpful. I used it well as a lubricant for the device. My skin doesn't agree with hyaluronic acid, especially the low molecular weight kind. I received this gel gratis with the device, and since it was the only gel I had on hand, I used it for about 3 days. I thought, 'If blemishes appear, I'll just visit the dermatologist,' but sure enough, a pimple popped up. I stopped using it before it could spread. If hyaluronic acid doesn't suit your skin, please take note! The texture feels nice and the ingredients seem good, so it might work well for those whose skin tolerates hyaluronic acid. Due to the ingredients, I use a different gel for my face, but I'm using this one for body treatments! - wj****Combination SkinSensitive SkinSep 13, 2024
I liked how it worked well with my EMS device, providing a nice stimulating effect. However, as soon as I applied it, my face started burning and stinging. I only used it for the 10 minutes while using the device, then washed it off. Unfortunately, large blemishes immediately appeared on my cheeks. I used this to improve my skin, but now it's going to take a while to recover. It's been a long time since my skin has reacted this badly. I'm not going to use this anymore. After using this product, I realized that ingredient lists aren't everything. Even ingredients considered 'bad' can work well if they suit your skin, while 'good' ingredients can be meaningless if they don't agree with you.
