Great for casual, everyday use. It's definitely bang for your buck. I love how it absorbs instantly without leaving any sticky residue. There's a peculiar scent - is it aloe or some chemical? Whatever it is, it's a bit unpleasant. Also, it tends to pill when you apply additional layers. - xl*****Dehydrated SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsOct 11, 2023
The absorption was great due to its high moisture content. It felt hydrating even after application, so I had no hesitation using it. There were no blemishes or heavy feeling on my skin either. After application, there's a sticky feeling that makes hair stick to your face a lot. It might be okay for those who don't mind that sort of thing. - ls********Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedOct 11, 2023
I loved the cooling effect, which was refreshing, and it had a soothing effect after application. It's gentle without irritation and the price is reasonable, making it great for everyday use. There's a slight sticky feeling after application, and since it's an aloe soothing gel, using this product alone may cause some deep dryness on the face. You might need to use it together with an emulsion or cream. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedJun 8, 2023
I have sensitive skin prone to seborrheic dermatitis, millet-like bumps, and atopic eczema. My skin is too sensitive for toners, so I use this as my first skincare step, doubling as an essence. I've been using this aloe gel for about 10 years now. Being an aloe gel, it's not sticky like other gels and spreads smoothly. It's great for soothing when my skin feels hot and also helps with pore care and protection. Due to the triethanolamine and fragrance, it can cause eye irritation, so never apply it around or near the eyes. It stings immediately if you do. I use a cream stick without irritation for my eye area. While it does contain alcohol, I didn't find it particularly drying. I follow up with an emulsion or moisturizer as my second skincare step. For a cooling and soothing effect, try keeping it in the refrigerator. This is especially nice during summer months. It helps calm redness and soothes irritated facial skin. - jm******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedOct 11, 2022
This stuff is seriously amazing! I've tried aloe gels from Bring Green, Aromatica, Nature Republic, and many others, but this one has been the most effective by far. My skin tends to have small bumps, but after using only this gel after cleansing, I was shocked to see them disappear after just a few days. My skin texture improved too! It's truly incredible... It's so hard to find this in physical stores. It seems like it might not even be available offline. Also, if you apply sunscreen over this and then rub your face, you might notice some pilling. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJul 22, 2021
Use it on your body! If you have too many dead skin cells on irritated skin, slather this on generously and follow up with a body cream or emulsion. The price is really affordable, and it's even better when mixed with water for a modeling mask - makes your skin so much more hydrated and feels great! It can cause breakouts if used on the face. Unlike other brands' products, this one tends to be sticky. Try adding a bit to your modeling mask! - ed*********Dry SkinDark CirclesInner DrynessEnlarged PoresFeb 27, 2021
It has a nice cooling effect when applied. The typical strong aloe scent is barely noticeable. It doesn't solve deep dryness. After application and absorption, my skin feels extremely dry. Also, the container design is a bit inconvenient to use as it's in a tub form. - se**********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinJan 13, 2021
I was worried about how to use it since it caused blemishes on my face, but it's absolutely fantastic when applied to the body! Not recommended for sensitive skin. If you're planning to use it on your body rather than your face, then I'd suggest giving it a try. - qk*********Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSep 2, 2020
The aloe content is quite high, and it's leaf extract, which seems a bit better I have sensitive skin, and it caused an intense burning sensation. I wonder if it's because of the alcohol content... - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJul 5, 2020
It absorbs well and feels refreshingly cool when used straight from the fridge! It has an honest aloe vera feel. The texture is firm when you scoop it out, but it quickly melts and becomes soft when it touches the warmth of your skin. There's plenty of product, so you can apply it generously. Unfortunately, it doesn't provide deep hydration all the way into the skin. Try storing it in the fridge! It's great for cooling down your face after a workout too.
