  Pros

  I used up an entire bottle, primarily as an exfoliating toner after cleansing. When using it this way, I'd sometimes soak a cotton pad and use it as a hydrating mask. While using it as an exfoliating toner, I felt like my blemishes were reducing, possibly due to the houttuynia cordata extract.

  Cons

  The runny texture worked well for my combination skin, but those with dry skin might find it a bit drying.

  Tip

  Mixing it with jojoba oil helps the moisturizing effect last longer.

  Pros

  Personally... apart from the extremely light and simple packaging, there wasn't much I liked. It just wasn't the right product for me in many ways...

  Cons

  I initially bought this on sale based on a recommendation from a YouTuber I trust... but personally, I found more cons than pros. 1. It severely exacerbates deep dryness. From the moment I applied it, I didn't feel any hydration coming through, which made me suspicious. Sure enough... for some reason, my face felt unusually tight when using only this product. Even following up with essence and moisturizer didn't help. 2. Due to point 1, as the dryness intensified, all my chronic skin blemishes surfaced. I'm not sure if I was using it incorrectly or what... I'm currently using it by soaking a cotton pad generously and wiping my face when I need to go out in a hurry without washing my face.. That's why...

  Tip

  I use it by soaking a cotton pad to wipe my face when I'm in a hurry and haven't washed my face. After that, I apply all my usual toner and emulsion!

  Pros

  As someone with super sensitive skin that reacts badly to most products, I'm thrilled to say this one hasn't caused any issues at all! It's been amazing for my skin. I'm already on my third bottle!

  Cons

  While there's nothing particularly wrong with it, I personally find applying products on my face a bit uncomfortable. I used this toner alone in winter without an emulsion, and my skin felt slightly dry.

  Tip

  I'd recommend using a moisturizer with this.

  Pros

  It feels similar to a centella toner. It has a soothing effect and can be seen as a diluted version of the Mixsoon essence. If you keep layering it, it starts to feel oily like an essence. The Mixsoon toner is essentially a very, very thin version of their essence.

  Cons

  No matter how much I apply, it feels dry. You can't expect any hydration from this at all. All of Mixsoon's toners are like this.

  Tip

  I think it's best to mix a little bit of different toners and spray it like a mist, or blend it with an essence and apply it mist-style.

  I'm using this because I know it has good mixed ingredients. The texture is completely water-like, which absorbs quickly. It's fragrance-free and non-irritating. The Houttuynia Cordata scent isn't bad, actually! To prevent dryness, I either mix it with a more emollient toner or alternate between the two.

  Cons

  The watery texture is inconvenient as it runs easily. It can leave skin feeling dry quickly, so you need to pair it with a richer toner or follow up with a serum for quick hydration.

  Tip

  This product works hard for combination dehydrated skin types. It's great for layering in your daily skincare routine, but those with super sensitive skin should patch test first.

  This toner is completely fragrance-free and feels just like water! The instructions recommend using it within 6 months after opening or storing it in the refrigerator, so I'm keeping it chilled. While I haven't noticed any dramatic effects yet, I appreciate how gentle it is on my skin.
