The pigmentation and staying power are good. It's a stick, so the amount can be well-controlled, which is nice. My lips are dry, so lip balm is a must-have. When the weather is hot, it can melt. - li*******Combination SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesWrinkles/ElasticityDead Skin CellsRecommendedApr 4, 2025
The color payoff is absolutely amazing and the staining power is out of this world! Of course, the staying power is insane. Highly recommended for cool-toned beauties with deep undertones! It's not only affordable but also gorgeous - I'm in love! Unfortunately, the hydrating effect disappears almost immediately after application. That's a bit disappointing. - di**********Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedNov 13, 2024
1. Absorbs well It glides on smoothly like a lip balm, which is great. This tint truly has unparalleled absorption! 2. Long-lasting Despite its balm-like texture, it lasts surprisingly well! 3. Cooling sensation It feels refreshingly cool every time you apply it. Remember when there was a huge trend for balm-type tints from brands like To*** and Holika? I've been buying this product occasionally since then, and I love how it applies with a pleasant cooling sensation, without any discomfort! 4. Color Highly recommended for lovers of vibrant orange-red shades! 1. If there's moisture on your lips, it applies unevenly, skipping those areas. It goes on patchy! Difficult to apply right after brushing your teeth! Also, make sure to clean off any foundation on your lips thoroughly before applying, or you'll get a patchy result. 2. It's drying. You always need to use it with a lip balm. If you use this product alone, dead skin cells will appear immediately, so when using it, either pair it with a lip balm or exfoliate your lips first! While it absorbs well, instead of just swiping it on, try patting it on for a more natural and even application! - 75********Combination SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsSep 25, 2024
Overall, it's not great. The color is dull and it applies unevenly, clumping together. The color payoff is really poor and the shade is ambiguous. I miss the old water drop tint. - jl******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRednessJun 5, 2024
I bought it expecting an orange shade, and it's decent enough to use It's disappointing. It emphasizes dead skin cells too much, and the actual color is really different from what's shown - hg*******Dry SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMar 30, 2024
I highly recommend this to anyone looking for an orange tint. It gives a beautiful, bright orange glow! It dries out quickly, unfortunately. I suggest using it together with a lip balm. Pro tip: When creating a gradient effect, use a cotton swab to gently blend it out! - qa*****Combination SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRecommendedMar 5, 2024
I'm in my 20s with a neutral to warm undertone, somewhere between 23 and spring-fall (definitely not cool-toned). My lips tend to be dry and prone to dead skin cells if I don't moisturize regularly. This review is based on trying two shades. After testing various lip balm-type products at Olive Young, this one stood out as the most satisfying. While it does transfer a bit onto paper cups, it's less than other products. It also gives my face a subtle brightening effect. The formula isn't extremely hydrating nor drying - it leans slightly towards the moisturizing side. It does dry out over time, but the beautiful color makes it worth it. Due to my ambiguous skin tone, it doesn't perfectly match me, but I plan to try other shades when they're on sale. Being a tint in lip balm form, the product does get used up rather quickly. For best results, exfoliate and moisturize your lips before application - it glides on even more smoothly. Layering this over a regular lip balm creates an even prettier look. - ww****Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsRecommendedFeb 28, 2024
The orange tone is a bit strong! I think it looks prettier when applied as a gradient rather than a bold, solid color. It tends to accentuate dead skin cells a bit, but I'm willing to overlook that because of its affordable price. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinRecommendedJan 28, 2024
As a teen, I always struggled with liquid tints, so I bought my first solid tint - this little gem called 'Pomegranate Water Drop Tint'. Though it's been rebranded since, I'm still using it religiously. The best part? It blends seamlessly, looking like my natural lip color even when I've only applied sunscreen or just basic skincare. Its effortless, natural finish is its biggest selling point. The staying power isn't particularly impressive. It's like magic - the moment you take a sip of water, it starts to fade. - lh*****Dry SkinAtopic SkinInner DrynessRednessRecommendedNov 2, 2023
It's incredibly moisturizing, which is typical for a watery tint! The color is perfect for spring warm tones - imagine a coral-orange with just a hint of pink. It applies smoothly and feels so hydrating on the lips! The color fades rather quickly, but that seems to be the trade-off with such a hydrating product. For a flawless application without emphasizing dead skin cells, try applying Vaseline the night before and then use this tint in the morning. It glides on beautifully!
