I am a male in my 20s with combination/sensitive skin. Usage experience: My previously calm skin had completely flipped upside down after wearing a mask all day and switching to a different cleansing foam. No matter what I did, like using face masks, my skin showed no signs of improvement, and as I continued wearing the mask, my skin became so dry and flaky that I felt like I wasn't even human anymore. I was really stressed out, when suddenly I received a text that I had won the Hwahae Trial Reviewer selection, and I had a glimmer of hope. The product arrived the very next day, and I started using it that same evening. At first, I really loved the scent - it was similar to the smell of plants or wood, and it immediately put me in a good mood and got me excited. The next morning, I noticed a slight effect, but not a huge difference. For the first few days, I just kept using it because the scent was so pleasant. But starting around the 4th day, my skin started improving rapidly, and now the only thing left is a slight scar. Of course, I used other products as well, but I feel like this product had a huge impact. I strongly recommend this product.

Pros
I've been troubled by the recent breakouts and acne flare-ups. I received this essence as a Hwahae Trial Reviewer, and at first, I just used it without much thought, but I feel like it has had a calming effect to some degree. My skin concerns have been quite severe lately, so I've also been taking isotretinoin and using Rejuran Healer in between, but I've been applying this essence morning and night, and taking photos of the same area every morning (photos attached in order: 8/23, 8/28, 9/1), and it does seem like the redness and acne scarring have been improving. When I first received the delivery, from the packaging to the texture, it was just so pleasant and non-sticky for my sensitive skin, and the forest-like fragrance was also really nice.
Cons
The dropper-style packaging was a bit frustrating for me. It feels like it only dispenses a small amount at a time, and if any gets on my hands, it can be inconvenient to apply.
Tip
I feel like it absorbs even more deeply and leaves my skin more hydrated if I apply it before using a sheet mask.

Here is a review from the Hwahae Trial Reviewer! :) I have been using this product consistently for about a week before going to bed. The best things I liked about it are: 1. Spreadability: It is not too thin and has a certain viscosity, so I can spread it across my entire face without using too much product. 2. Volume: I thought I would be using a lot each time, but surprisingly, there is still a lot of product left. The volume seems sufficient. 3. Absorption: It absorbs really well. I can apply it lightly without any stickiness. 4. Next morning: I can clearly see an improvement in my skin when I look in the mirror in the morning, compared to before. This is the best essence product I have used so far! Highly recommended >_<

Pros
The scent was simply wonderful, giving me a spa-like feeling. It was fragrant and pleasant. The skin soothing effect was also good. The redness subsided quite a bit, and it seemed to work well.
Cons
The dropper is really inconvenient to use ㅠㅠ Everything else is good, but the essence comes out so frustratingly from the dropper... There are times when I want to use more, but the essence only comes out a little, making it frustrating more than once ㅠㅠ So I might hesitate to repurchase it.

Pros
Even a small amount of moisture is sufficient. For the first few days, I had to go to work in the morning, so I applied a toner and Simes essence, and then applied a nourishing cream. But in the evening, I only applied a birch tree essence to the toner and slept, and there was no tightness in the morning. I also felt that my skin tone was getting a bit brighter. The best part was that there was no stickiness, which I really liked. Normally, in the evening, I prefer to just use a toner with an essence or a cream, so it was very convenient to use. Moreover, I don't like strongly scented cosmetics, but the subtle fragrance of this product was pleasing to me. The 30ml essence volume is also generous and will last a long time, so the 50ml size is quite adequate.
