At first, I was surprised by the large packaging. I felt good that the product packaging was all paper and corn filler, making it environmentally friendly. As soon as you apply it, your skin is overflowing with moisture!! It absorbs quickly and smoothly without any stickiness!! The fragrance is incredibly luxurious and neutral, like a woody scent? It's a subtle yet deep aroma that permeates the air ㅎㅎ I think it's because it contains birch leaf extract, so it's reminiscent of fresh leaves and the scent of damp wood ㅎㅎ After applying, a moisture barrier forms on the skin's surface, immediately addressing any dryness! Even though it's an essence, it feels like a highly concentrated ampoule serum ㅎㅎ It finishes off refreshingly without any stickiness, which was perfect for my oily skin~! It's been a while since I've found a basic skincare product that makes me feel this much moisture and hydration^^ The product says 'Inviting your weary skin to the shade of the Finnish forest' on it, and when you smell the fragrance, you really do feel like you've been invited to a birch tree forest..! 100% repurchase intent

The package is pretty. The fragrance is naturally refreshing. It absorbs well into my dry skin and effectively manages the dryness. It has a slightly sticky, runny essence-like texture.
Cons
The dropper is really, really, really inconvenient. ㅠㅠ About 5 days after using it, I started getting large pimples. ㅠ The downside is that the essence was too strong in many ways.

Pros
I was selected as a Hwahae Trial Reviewer and was able to use the product, and although I was quite worried since I have sensitive skin, I was satisfied with the first use as it absorbs quickly and is moisturizing! Scent: Floral scent (not too strong) Texture: Slightly soothing but watery Moisture: Sufficient! It's quite plump. I didn't really feel a calming effect, but my skin didn't break out either.
Cons
While I'm not sensitive to scents, those who are may find the scent to be a bit strong!! It didn't calm my skin dramatically, and I didn't see any dramatic effects.
Tip

Absorbency: I really felt like it absorbed so well! Just apply a little and pat it in, and it has a slightly bouncy, supple finish! Spreadability: It's an essence, but I felt it had more of an ampoule-like texture. When I apply it in the evening, it has a bouncy, supple feel, and when I wake up in the morning, my skin is soft. I can really feel it when I wash my face in the morning - oh, it's so smooth! I don't feel like the price is bad compared to the amount you get. I think similar products in this price range would be about the same.

There was a lot of talk about the packaging... The dropper doesn't seem to draw up the full amount, and the amount that comes out feels a bit sparse, like 'is this really on my skin?'. 💙Absorption, Texture The texture is sticky, but when applied, it absorbs quickly and feels very moisturizing!! I did a 3-step skincare routine with toner, essence, and moisturizer, and I was surprised that even just using the essence reduced dryness a lot. It was great that it was not sticky and absorbed quickly~ The fresh scent was also natural, so I didn't feel any aversion!! Although I haven't noticed significant nourishment after a week of use, my sensitive skin is still fine, and my skin has become much smoother, so I'm looking forward to it!

*Hwahae Trial Reviewer Review First of all, the packaging is so pretty. It's perfect for gifting, and the accompanying postcard is also lovely, so I've kept it. Next, the scent was good. It really gave me a natural, calming feeling. The lightweight, easily absorbed texture allowed my skin to breathe, and there was no heaviness after application.
Cons
The dropper that many have mentioned was a bit inconvenient. I think a pump type would have been better. In terms of ingredients, PEG was relatively high on the list. That's a bit disappointing.
Tip
Since I prefer lightweight application in the summer, I sprayed a mist first, then lightly applied this essence, and finished with a lightweight lotion to prevent moisture loss. Since I have dry skin, I've been looking for and using products that are moisturizing and supple, without becoming dry over time. This product is highly concentrated, yet it doesn't feel watery and is fully absorbed into the skin. I feel like my skin becomes plump and bouncy right after application, similar to a dry sponge that has absorbed water. Even in the morning before work and in the evening after work, the plumpness and moisture are maintained without much loss. I love it! Despite being highly concentrated, there's no heavy feeling, and the birch scent is calming and healing, like the relaxing aroma at a massage parlor. It's not too strong or too weak - just a subtle, pleasant fragrance.
Cons
The dropper usage is more cumbersome than expected. It's a button-type dispenser, not the typical rubber type, and I keep getting confused. Also, it takes some time for the product to come out of the dropper.
Tip
You can apply this on top of sheet masks or soak a cotton pad with it and place it on your T-zone or cheeks to intensely replenish the moisture in those areas!
