My skin was flaky and makeup wasn't adhering well, so I tried this gentle peeling gel from Rockys. It surprised me with how effectively yet gently it removed dead skin cells without irritation. The gel formula transforms into little beads as you massage it, softly sloughing off stubborn dead skin. After rinsing, my skin felt hydrated and smooth, not tight at all. I think the tea tree ingredient helped reduce redness and blemishes too. It's perfect for using once or twice a week - a mild exfoliator that really delivers! The lightweight texture can feel a bit dry if you rub it on your skin for too long, as the moisture evaporates. If you have dry skin, make sure to follow up with a moisturizer right after use. Also, the exfoliation is so gentle that you might not notice dramatic results, depending on your skin condition. It's better suited for those who prefer mild, low-irritation products rather than intense peeling effects. Here's my routine: After cleansing, I apply a thin layer to my dry face, wait about 30 seconds, then gently massage in circular motions. On sensitive days, I focus mainly on my cheeks and chin. When I have more flaky areas, I pay extra attention to my nose and around my mouth. Afterwards, I always follow up with a hydrating cream or soothing gel for calming and moisturizing. This really helps refine my skin texture! This gentle peeling gel is perfect for sensitive skin types or exfoliation beginners. The subtle fragrance is pleasant and not overwhelming at all. - al*****Combination SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedJun 16, 2025
As someone with combination skin, I've been using this for a month now. It lathers up quickly like soap, and after rinsing, my skin feels moisturized. I love that it doesn't leave my skin feeling tight before starting my skincare routine. I honestly can't find any downsides to mention. As someone with combination skin, I haven't experienced any discomfort using this product. It's best to follow the instructions and cleanse your face first before using this. Once, I tried skipping the face wash out of laziness. I'm not sure if it was just my perception, but the massage felt a bit rough and ineffective. Even if it's a hassle, cleansing first, patting your skin dry, and then massaging this in works much better. The product glides on smoothly, leaving your skin feeling refreshed while providing instant hydration. - sj******Dry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedApr 27, 2025
My skin instantly feels softer and makeup applies beautifully. I don't notice any particular irritation. I didn't experience any disappointments or discomfort while using this product. - an*******Dry SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRecommendedApr 11, 2025
I've been loyal to this product for years now. I briefly tried other products, but they didn't exfoliate well and felt somewhat ineffective. This one, though, gives me the sensation of thoroughly removing all those stubborn dead skin cells! The ingredients are gentle, so it doesn't cause any blemishes, and the price is wallet-friendly too. It's disappointing that as soon as you open the tube cap, the formula is a bit runny and tends to ooze out slightly. Don't massage for more than a minute as your face might start to tingle. Also, remember to use it on your neck as well. - wl*****Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedMar 7, 2025
The texture is quite fluid. Apply an appropriate amount to your face, gently massage it as if you're exfoliating, then rinse off. You'll notice areas with dead skin cells or excess oil become smooth, leaving your skin feeling fresh and clean. While it seems excellent for oily skin, those with dry skin can also use it without issues if they focus on hydration afterwards. Due to its acidic nature, if you massage too vigorously or use it too frequently, it may cause skin damage, resulting in a tingling or burning sensation. Treat your skin as gently as you would a baby's - always massage with a light touch! - le*************Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRecommendedMar 2, 2025
It's pretty decent! When I used it on my sensitive skin, it didn't cause any tingling or blemishes. It seems good for gentle, regular dead skin cell management. I didn't experience severe dryness right after using it either. Fundamentally... I'm not sure if it's actually effective at exfoliating. I don't really have any intention to repurchase. Why bother? - ja*****Dehydrated SkinSebum/BlackheadsWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedDec 24, 2024
It effectively removes dead skin cells. A small amount is sufficient for exfoliation, leaving your skin smooth and silky. Don't use too much - the results are amazing! Be careful not to rub too hard, as it can be painful. When I first used it, I applied too much and scrubbed vigorously, which hurt my face. Apply a small amount to your skin and gently massage in circular motions. This way, you'll effectively remove dead skin cells without any discomfort. - ny****Dry SkinAtopic SkinDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedDec 1, 2024
As someone with extremely dry, atopy-prone skin, I can't exfoliate too harshly. Instead, I regularly use peeling gels for gentle exfoliation all over my body. When the weather suddenly turns chilly and dry, even body emulsions and oils aren't enough to stop the itching on my arms and legs. So, I set aside some time to give myself a thorough exfoliation with a peeling gel. To be honest, I haven't noticed much difference in effectiveness between gommage-type peeling gels, so I don't have a holy grail product. I usually just buy whatever's on sale. However, I noticed that the Loquis Tea Tree Peeling Gel was getting a lot of buzz as a popular item. Since I already love tea tree ingredients, I chose it without hesitation! It's a typical gommage peeling gel that doesn't irritate the skin and has gentle ingredients. I recommend picking it up when it's on sale for a great deal. The packaging design leaves a bit to be desired, but since peeling gels aren't exactly display items for your vanity, I wouldn't call it a drawback - just a minor disappointment! - tr*******Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinDark CirclesInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRecommendedNov 4, 2024
It's great at removing dead skin cells. I love it and keep buying it regularly. Please offer buy-one-get-one-free deals more often. I've settled on this Roccis peeling gel. - jj******Combination SkinSensitive SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedFeb 25, 2024
This is hands down the best peeling gel I've ever used in my life. After using it, my skin feels incredibly smooth. Usually, if a product doesn't agree with me, I get blemishes right away, but I've been using this consistently without any issues. There's really nothing to complain about, except that it can leave your skin feeling quite tight afterwards. If you have dry skin, you'll probably need to apply toner and emulsion right away.
