Plus, it's so easy to use!
ConsThe blemishes aren't really going away, and it tends to run off, which is inconvenient.

My back and chest acne had gotten really bad, so I'd been taking medication prescribed by my dermatologist for 6 months. Once it improved somewhat, I stopped the medication and bought this mist. First off, the ingredients are gentle and it's easy to incorporate into my skincare routine. Since all cosmetics work differently for everyone, I'd recommend this product based on its ingredients.
ConsThe spray comes out narrower than expected. It often gets clogged and sometimes won't spray at all. You can use it upside down, but then it leaks a lot around the nozzle. I've been happy with Dr. Alga body wash, so I had high hopes, but this was more disappointing than I thought. I'm not sure if I'll see results after finishing the whole bottle, but so far I haven't noticed any significant effects. If it doesn't work, I might try a Not4U product next.
TipFor now, I'll keep using it consistently morning and night. It seems that improving lifestyle habits is the most important aspect of all skincare. As for diet, I've cut out ramen, but I love bread and cake so much that it's hard to give up.

The scent is similar to the body wash. It might be a love-it-or-hate-it kind of product. I'm hoping it'll be effective before summer arrives.
ConsIt's slightly inconvenient to spray on the back since it's a mist. After spraying, the product drips and gets on my fingers. I'm not sure if there's a specific technique for application or if it's an issue with the container, but it does leave the skin feeling moisturized after spraying.

It's great that you can spray it upside down on your back. My back acne is clearing up and the itching has subsided. These are the changes I've noticed after about 4 applications. It contains more Centella Asiatica than Houttuynia Cordata, and it's effective for teenage blemishes.
ConsThe spray doesn't dispense much product, so it takes a while to saturate a pad. If you press too hard, the liquid leaks out. These are all packaging issues, but the product itself is good.

This one, containing houttuynia cordata extract, definitely works wonders on red acne marks. It's so convenient to spray, I use it like an essence after my toner, spraying it on and letting it absorb well.
ConsThe spray mechanism could be better. It comes out in a strong stream rather than a fine mist, and since it's a water-based formula, it tends to run down the skin.

The spray power is excellent even when you flip it upside down. I'm hoping it'll be effective for back blemishes!
ConsThere's nothing particularly disappointing about it. The only issue is that if you spray too much, it can run down, but that's to be expected with a mist product.

The transparent case also gave it a cool, crisp look.
ConsThe spray mechanism is disappointing. If you press it quickly multiple times, it doesn't spray properly and just drips. You have to press it slowly and firmly. Push it all the way down, spritz, wait 1-2 seconds, then repeat. If you try to spray rapidly, it just dribbles out...

My face tends to get oily in the T-zone and butterfly zone, with some sebum production and enlarged pores with blackheads. On my body, I occasionally get small red bumps on my chest and back that come and go naturally. Recently, with the warmer weather, my skin seems more irritated and these bumps have become more noticeable. So, I was looking for something to address this when I came across the Hwahae Testers event for the Houttuynia Cordata Red Spot Blemish Mist, and I was fortunate enough to try it out. What I really liked about this product is that it's a blemish mist, so you can easily spray it on any red, irritated areas - whether it's back acne, chest acne, or facial blemishes - to help soothe the skin. Due to a shipping delay, I received the product on 8/18, so I've been using it for about a week. Here's my review based on daily use over this period: 1) Scent: With Centella Asiatica and Houttuynia Cordata extracts, the fragrance is subtle and non-irritating. It's light and fresh, not overpowering even with multiple sprays. There's a slight alcohol scent due to the alcohol content, but it's not bothersome. 2) Ingredients: It contains allantoin, which is great for skin soothing and very gentle. It seems particularly suitable for oily, sensitive, blemish-prone skin types. However, due to the alcohol content, those with very dry or dehydrated skin should be cautious as it might be slightly drying. 3) Usage: Being a mist, you simply spray it on the desired areas. I used it on my back and chest where I had irritation. After showering and drying off, I sprayed it on these areas. The 360-degree spray nozzle made it easy to use on my back, which was a plus. 4) Spray: You can choose between regular and fine mist options - The product initially comes with a regular spray nozzle, but they also included a fine mist nozzle separately, likely in response to previous reviews. I appreciated this attention to customer feedback. The regular spray tends to disperse the product more forcefully, sometimes dripping, while the fine mist provides a wider, more even application. 5) Absorption: It absorbs quickly, leaving a moisturized feeling. The absorption is excellent - it dries quickly without any stickiness. This worked very well for my combination dehydrated skin. 6) Effectiveness: After using it daily on my back and chest post-shower for a week, I noticed the red, irritated bumps gradually fading. The mist seemed to prevent new bumps from forming, possibly due to its sebum-reducing properties. Although I've only used it for a short time, I feel it's worth continuing to use regularly. Its ease of use and gentle skin-soothing properties are its main advantages. It's particularly good for summer when skin irritation can be worse, and seems well-suited for combination dehydrated, oily, or sensitive skin types.
ConsGiven the short usage period and my satisfaction with the product's effectiveness, I don't have many complaints. However, there are a couple of minor issues with the application: - Spray power: I personally preferred the fine mist spray, but the nozzle was a bit stiff, sometimes making it difficult to press down properly. This occasionally resulted in improper spraying, with the product coming out more like water droplets. - While the 360-degree rotation is a feature, sometimes it didn't spray well, especially when trying to apply it to my back.
TipIf you're looking to treat back or chest acne, simply spray it lightly on these areas after showering and drying off, then let it absorb!

After a week of use, I didn't notice as many breakouts as I expected!
ConsWhen I first used it, the spray wasn't very effective, and it kept running down when concentrated on one area. It also didn't absorb as well as I had hoped.
TipTo address these issues, I tried applying it with a cotton pad instead. That method worked much better for me!

I was thrilled when I won exactly the product I was looking for. I tend to get acne on my back and upper chest area, and my back is especially covered in scars. When I used this product after keeping it in the refrigerator, I could feel its cooling and soothing effects. After using it for 5 days since receiving it, I noticed a reduction in sebum production and it seemed to have an exfoliating effect as my skin's surface felt much smoother.
ConsI tried using the product about 2 hours after receiving it, right after a shower... At first, it was frustratingly difficult to dispense. The spray mechanism seemed completely ineffective - I had to press it about 20 times before anything came out. I thought it might be defective. The photo shows my first attempt at using it... It was so frustrating! The product just pooled around the nozzle instead of spraying. The next day, it sprayed a bit better than the day before. It would spray well in short bursts, but if I tried to use a lot, it would come out in a foamy clump. The pump became stiff, so I had to use both hands to press it. While the spray mechanism isn't as good as other products, the ingredients seem gentler. Other products have such a strong alcohol scent that I avoid using them even though they spray well. I've already used half of this product, pressing hard each time! I wonder if there's any way to improve the spray mechanism just a little?
