It was less itchy than regular shampoos. It has less scalp odor. It lathers up better than expected. My hair is less oily.
ConsAfter use, my hair becomes stiff like a broom. I'm not sure if it's because it removes the oil too much or if the oil is not removed enough, but my scalp hurts and feels rough. So I feel stuffy. It seems too much for my scalp to use it daily.

After switching to the ginger shampoo, I saw results right away. It's my shampoo of life. Since using this shampoo, I haven't had any relapses even when using other shampoos!!!
ConsThe price is a bit burdensome, but the effects are so good that I can't not use it. I stock up whenever it's on sale or at duty-free. It seems like my hair gets dry if I use it for too long, so I'm using it alternately with other shampoos. The pump-style lid is a bit inconvenient.

The color is like honey, and it gives a really healthy feel.
ConsIt doesn't have much lather and makes your hair really dry when using it... This is a shampoo I would absolutely not want to use in the fall or winter...
TipEven after using it, I think it would be better to also use a conditioner, hair spa, and hair oil for best results.

There was a breakout near the back of my scalp, but I'm not sure if it was because of this product. However, the situation has improved now, and it hasn't gotten worse. When I first used it, I was surprised by the strong ginger tea aroma, but after rinsing, the scent is not that strong, so you don't have to worry about smelling like ginger. The lather is good, and it feels clean and refreshing when washing.
ConsThe cap is not a pump type, so my nails hurt too much every time I open it. The cap is sturdy, which is good, but it's too sturdy. It does feel clean, but it gets stiff, and my hair tangles if I don't use a conditioner. Furthermore, although it didn't used to be the case, my hair gets greasy again by the next evening after washing, which is disappointing. I don't think I'll repurchase this.

That's all there is to it..^^
ConsI used it for about 5 days and it was just so-so, but the lather was really too much.. It seems to lather up about 1.7 times faster than other shampoos..^^.. I normally wash my hair every day, and even while using this, I washed it daily, but it lathered up really quickly and.. I even felt like I had more dandruff, so I just stopped using it after 2 weeks.. If your hair lathers up too much, don't buy it.. The ingredients aren't even that good, it's pretty much just a gimmick..ใ

ConsThe scent is similar to ginger, which can be a bit unpleasant, and if you don't use conditioner, your hair may feel stiff.

Trial Reviewers' reviews undergo the same strict verification process as regular reviews, and if they don't meet our standards, revisions will be requested.ProsDuring my summer vacation, I accidentally used the wrong shampoo and my scalp became seborrheic. I really struggled with it and tried changing shampoos, but I didn't see any improvement until I heard that The Body Shop Ginger Shampoo is good for seborrheic scalp. I had tried it before but stopped because it felt a bit heavy, but this time it seems to be working well for my scalp. Massaging the lather into my scalp and rinsing it thoroughly without any residue left, my scalp improved within a week. My scalp also doesn't get oily as easily now. I don't think I'll be able to use anything else until my scalp is completely healed.
ConsAfter checking the ingredients, I was surprised to find that there are quite a few undesirable ingredients in it. And I don't think I can use this without a conditioner. It's too heavy and my hair gets tangled when rinsing. And if you don't like the ginger scent, you probably won't be able to use this either as the fragrance is quite strong.
TipThe conditioner is essential. The formula is very runny, so you need to be careful when dispensing it to avoid spilling.

The fragrance was also personally good for me.
ConsThe oil in my hair builds up quickly... ใ ใ And after using this, the condition of my hair deteriorated rapidly.

It provides a deep cleansing sensation for the pores. Those with oily scalps will likely find this product beneficial.
ConsThe product is quite watery, so it tends to be used excessively. Additionally, the hair becomes very tangled and prone to shedding when rinsing.
TipWhile not a full-fledged tip, since the product is thin, it's best to dispense a small amount, quickly work up a lather, and then shampoo. Even with a small amount, the foam will be plentiful.
