It gives a nice glow and adheres perfectly to the lips with a plump feel. I really like it! For a vegan lip balm, the packaging is quite excessive, ironically enough!

It's an adorable lip balm in a block-shaped case. - Scent: Despite its vibrant color, which might make you expect a strong fragrance, surprise! It's actually unscented. As someone who applies lip balm at home and prefers to avoid artificial scents, this was a relief for both my lips and nose. - Texture: It's slightly translucent, smooth, and moisturizing. It glides on effortlessly without clumping or settling into lip lines. Some lip balms can feel sticky due to their oil-based formulas, which can be unbearable in summer. However, this Essential Lip Balm uses plant-based vegan oils, making it light and non-greasy. It delivers a hydrating moisture that sinks into your lips and skin. As someone with chronically dry, flaky lips who always needs a lip balm (even at home and in summer), this product made me temporarily forget about my dead skin cells. The balance between hydration and moisturization is spot-on. - Color: As you can see, it's a clear, water-infused red. Think freshly washed apple or cherry! I often struggle with red shades due to my deep undertone, but this pure red works for both warm and cool tones, making it perfect for daily use. It's a universally flattering lip balm! In these mask-wearing times, it gives that 'my lips but better' look, which keeps me reaching for it again and again. While it's nearly fragrance-free and has French vegan certification, the colorants and additives are a bit high on the ingredient list. I wish the ingredients were as clean as the rest of the product. It's impressive that they've managed to create a product without animal-derived ingredients or animal testing. I often feel guilty as a consumer when I see excessive packaging and plastic cases, but using this vegan product gives me less of a guilty conscience. I'm all for supporting ethical beauty!
