Over time, the fragrance develops into something more akin to a soapy smell, with a slightly bitter undertone, so it's not overly sweet or baby-like, but rather a heavier, soapy scent.
ConsI tried a Diptyque product for the first time, and I think it's good for a man to wear, without any real downsides.

This is a bestseller line from Diptyque, and the sweet soap-like fragrance with a hint of smokiness is quite appealing. Personally, I would have preferred a stronger juniper berry note, as I couldn't detect the finer nuances very well, and the overall impression was rather soapy.
ConsOn days when I'm not feeling well, it seems to make me a bit nauseous. It can be a bit overpowering if applied too closely.

(Many people say it's similar to Floral, but it's not that similar. There's no peppery note. It's just that both have a powdery quality, so that's why it may feel similar. The only thing they share is the cozy dry down.) Contrary to its name, it's not heavy or strong at all. Instead, it dissipates fairly quickly compared to other EDPs. It suits both men and women well. I'd recommend this to those who enjoy a moderate scent. Personally, this is my favorite from Diptyque. (I prefer a cosmetic-like scent rather than an overpowering woody or natural vibe.) It has a balance of natural and cosmetic-like notes (with a slight vetiver feel), like the first-floor scent at Baekhwa Point. I've also seen reviews saying it has a masculine skin-like scent, which to me is similar to the feminine yet slightly masculine skin scent I've experienced with Chanel Coco Noir or Yves Saint Laurent Libre. It's not an overtly masculine skin scent, but rather a neutral, skin-like aroma. I like it. The versatility is both a strength and a weakness. It's so well-balanced that it's hard to find a similar scent.
ConsThe natural woody and floral notes are definitely more prominent compared to other perfume brands like Chanel or Dior, but compared to other Diptyque fragrances, this one leans a bit more towards the cosmetic-like scent. If you don't like the cosmetic/skin-like aroma, I'd recommend you sample it first before purchasing.
TipThe powdery dry down with a cozy, lingering scent is quite noticeable. The initial woody-citrus top notes that you spray on your clothes tend to last a while.
