Even the cosmetic spoon is transparent, which is pretty and makes it easy to check how much cream is left. The texture is slightly more fluid than an emulsion. It applies smoothly, making it easy to spread, and provides a surprisingly good level of hydration. I got quite tanned this summer, so I focused on applying it to my arms and ankles. I took photos, but the difference wasn't noticeable enough with my phone camera to make a comparison worthwhile, so I didn't upload them. Still, whether it's just my imagination or not, my ankles really did seem to brighten up. They had gotten particularly dark this summer. By applying it generously morning and night, my heels and elbows unexpectedly became more moisturized too. The scent isn't great at first, but after it's been on your skin for a while, it actually becomes quite pleasant.
ConsI should have applied it to my face, but I had to stop after three days because small blemishes and pimples kept appearing. This happened even though it was right after my period when my skin usually improves. The breakouts seemed to be caused by the product because they subsided when I stopped using it on my face. I don't even have particularly sensitive skin... It felt a bit heavy for me, whether on my face or body. I prefer fresh, super-hydrating body emulsions or creams, but this one felt like it was sitting on top of my skin with a slightly oily film. It probably would have been much better to use in winter. If you have oily skin, you should only apply a small amount to your face. While it goes on smoothly at first, it becomes sticky if you pat it in, which isn't pleasant. I wonder if the jar packaging was really necessary. The cream is hard to scoop out even with the spoon, and I've heard that jar packaging for creams can be unhygienic. If they can't change the packaging, it would at least be more convenient if there was a way to attach the spoon to the jar!
TipEven if you don't use it on your face, applying it generously and consistently to areas like your neck or recently tanned spots might help brighten them a bit! For the best application, smooth it on without patting for a softer feel.

The texture is incredibly smooth, almost like it would melt away, but when you touch it, it's soft and bouncy - a unique feeling that I found incredibly innovative! Unlike other moisturizers that leave a sticky residue the next day, causing hair to stick and feeling like it's washing off during morning cleansing, this one was a game-changer. I woke up the next morning and it felt fully absorbed - my hair was less sticky, and my skin felt fresh, hydrated, and soft. It was a real 'wow' moment, like 'Is this really my product?' When washing my face, there wasn't that typical slippery feeling you get with other creams. It really felt like it was made for me! I tried applying it thickly out of curiosity, and even then, it maintained its refreshing feel. While it felt less powdery than when applied thinly, it definitely felt more hydrated. As for brightening, my skin did become clearer than before, though I didn't notice a dramatic whitening effect (perhaps because I've only used it for a week). Still, if my skin is getting clearer after just a week, I believe it will continue to improve with consistent use. I'm really pleased with how it's improving my skin texture! I'll definitely repurchase this (if I can afford it)! Thin application → Woke up feeling fresh, skin felt powdery yet hydrated. Less residue when washing. Thick application → Woke up feeling fresh, skin felt slightly powdery but more hydrated than with thin application. Some residue when washing.
ConsTo be honest, I struggled to find many drawbacks, but here are a few: 1. Price & Quantity: At 12ml, it's smaller than other creams, yet costs 33,000 won... quite pricey! 2. Blemishes: I'm not sure about others, but for the first 2-3 days, I experienced some itchiness that came and went. On the second day, a few pimples appeared, but then it stopped. My skin is quite sensitive and seems to need time to adapt to new products. Those with super sensitive skin should be cautious! 3. Product Fill: On the Haruharu website, the cream appears to fill the entire container, but in reality, it's only slightly more than half full. Keep this in mind!
TipAs someone with dry skin, I personally love this cream. I think it would work even better if used in combination with other products!

With consistent use, I felt like it had a brightening effect too! Plus, the amount you get is generous, and a little goes a long way. I didn't even need to scoop out a lot - just a small dab was enough to cover my cheeks and chin. You'll be able to use this for a long time!
ConsWell, the scent... it reminds me of that liquid slime they used to sell in stationery shops when I was a kid. It's not exactly a pleasant fragrance, unfortunately. As someone with combination dehydrated skin, I found this cream focuses more on adding richness rather than hydration. It seems better suited for those with dry skin! For me, adding more richness to my already oily skin led to increased sebum production and a few blemishes. I only used it for about 4 days before stopping.
TipDue to its rich texture, it's better suited as a night cream rather than for morning use! The consistency is quite fluid, so you don't need to layer many other skincare products with it.

It has a whitening effect! After using this whitening-focused cream for about a week, my face definitely became brighter. It's not a dramatic change, but more of a radiant glow? With consistent use, I think it will continue to brighten the skin! 2. A cream that even those with sensitive skin seeking whitening effects can use with confidence! I usually use vitamin C for brightening, but it can sting due to its acidity. So I don't recommend vitamin C for sensitive skin types. However, this product doesn't sting and contains gentle ingredients, making it perfect for those with sensitive skin looking for brightening effects. 3. The packaging design is absolutely gorgeous! To be honest, I fell in love with this product at first sight because of its packaging. It's that beautiful and unique! The design is simple yet somehow mysterious, so I'm very satisfied with its aesthetics. 4. The texture is pretty good too! It's an apricot-colored cream that applies transparently. When you pat it in with your hands, it absorbs well. It does have a slightly rich feel to it though. 5. It doesn't cause blemishes! I didn't experience any breakouts while using this product. However, it didn't clear up existing blemishes either.
Cons1. For my combination skin, the hydration is slightly lacking. The hydration wasn't quite enough for me. I have combination skin that's prone to occasional acne. Right after application it feels fine, but about an hour later, I feel like it needs more moisture, so I often followed up with jojoba oil. Also, because it's slightly rich, it might feel heavy for those with very oily skin!
TipI highly recommend this for those with super sensitive skin. For dry, very dry, or combination skin types, I recommend it too, but suggest finishing with a moisturizing oil for best results. Highly recommended for those with sensitive skin!

The whitening effect is temporary, and it absorbs transparently. Scent: Refreshing. Personally, I love it! Skincare routine: AHA+BHA toner for skin prep (twice a week) or Mamonde Chamomile toner > Aloe gel > Haru Haru cream, in that order. Post-application feel: It has a firm, elastic finish. Those with oily T-zones might appreciate this texture. However, perhaps due to the summer weather, it felt a bit rich for me (I thought it might be due to the aloe gel, but it still felt oily even without it). So, I apply it very sparingly. Brightening effect: Well... haha! Given the short period of use, the effects are minimal.
ConsAfter application, I had a strong feeling that my skin was clogged. While I liked the firm finish, as time passed, my already oily T-zone became excessively shiny. This actually led to breakouts in my T-zone... Usually, even though I produce a lot of sebum and my pores get easily clogged, I don't often get major blemishes. However, when using this cream, I immediately developed acne in my T-zone. At first, small blemishes appeared here and there, but they seemed to worsen the more I applied it, so I stopped using it on my face.
TipI now use it on my body instead.
