After searching for a foundation-free product with decent coverage and trying several options, I finally decided to give the Choboyang BB cream a shot!

I used to shy away from BB creams due to their characteristic ashy tone, but the Choboyang BB cream pleasantly surprised me. It doesn't have that grayish cast and instead gives a natural brightening effect that I really love.

It also provides a nice level of coverage, which is great!

This product has excellent adherence to the skin, and I'm impressed by how it develops a beautiful glow as time passes. It's become a BB cream I reach for frequently.

Today, I'm going all out with a cool-toned mauve makeup look.

The shade, though... While it's definitely light, it's not quite that ivory beige that's a touch brighter than your skin tone. Instead, it has a slight grayish tint that can make color makeup look a bit off...

A nostalgic cult favorite! Those from my generation have probably all tried it, but for those whose memories might be a bit hazy, I'm here to share my review as someone who's repurchased it multiple times even recently.

There's a reason this BB cream is Missha's steady seller. Just one pump is enough to cover most blemishes. It never loses its coverage power and leaves your skin looking flawless. The texture is so hydrating that it's incredibly easy to apply - you can even slap it on with your hands and it won't look patchy. No need for fancy tools!

And the best part? It's budget-friendly too!

When it comes to drugstore BB creams, Missha seems to be the top dog. It feels like their red BB cream and this one are constantly battling for first place.

The color was a bit smudgy, so it looked a bit uneven and not very pretty.
The skin expression wasn't particularly pretty either.

When mixed with the dry foundation, it added more moisture.

Since it's a BB cream, using shade 17 is fine even if I'm shade 22, but it's a bit too bright for me. I bought shade 17 and mixed it.

The Hwahae Testers are less dark than the old beginners, and they are chewy.

There seems to be some Hwahae coming up, so you'll need to be careful with use.

It's great to use it on its own, and it also works well when mixed with a double-wear product.

The scent is not for everyone. Although it's shade 17, it's extremely dark. It's supposed to be for 17-19, but I can't use it alone at all. It makes my complexion about two shades darker.

I bought this to mix with my old favorite Double Wear foundation. It's less gray than before and pairs well with matte foundations.

Mix it with a spatula and apply thin layers to your skin, building up coverage gradually.

Be careful with the mixing ratio. A 7:3 ratio (foundation to this product) is about right. If this BB cream makes up more than 30% of the mix, I found that the staying power actually decreases and my skin gets oilier more quickly. Just add a little bit to your matte foundation.

I've been using this for about a month now. I bought it to mix with foundation, as I heard it works well that way, especially with matte foundations. It definitely improves the matte feel, making it more natural, and the coverage is excellent. It feels like it fills in the gaps where the foundation's coverage was lacking.

I have extremely dry skin, so all products feel dry on me. This one is less drying compared to other bases, but it's still too dry to use alone. I mix it with a hydrating moisturizer when applying.

Although it's shade 17, it's suitable for shade 21. No darkening, decent coverage, and it creates a beautiful complexion. Easy to apply and doesn't leave streaks.

Patting it onto the skin with your fingers creates an amazing complexion. Setting with powder eliminates any transfer. Even if it seems a bit off right after application, give it time and it will settle into a beautiful, fine texture on its own, so be careful not to over-apply.

I wonder if the herbal scent was really necessary. There's also a bit of transfer. Other than that, no issues. It's an excellent BB cream.

The way it fades is beautiful. It creates a lovely skin finish. It effectively covers small blemishes, fine veins, and redness. When applied with fingers, it adheres to the skin with a satisfying bounce. It doesn't irritate the skin. It's convenient to use just this one product without needing a separate base.

The downside is that it transfers onto masks quite a bit. But I can't give it up, so I just touch up as needed.

My holy grail BB cream! I've been using this exclusively for years. Even when it fades, it does so gracefully and still looks beautiful.
