While it's called an oil essence, it's not enough during the cold winter. Even in the transitional seasons, just using this alone leaves me feeling dry. It's a product with some shortcomings.

The oil essence doesn't really feel oily. It has good absorption and a nice fragrance. It has a finish similar to that of cosmetics containing silicone. It's fine to use except in the depths of winter and summer.

The ingredients aren't particularly good. Sometimes I felt it was a bit irritating on my skin when applying, but it didn't cause any blemishes or breakouts.

I tried a sample of Huxley's product and loved the scent so much that I decided to purchase it. When applied, it provides great hydration and has a perfect consistency - not too light, not too heavy.
