The best thing about this bubble foam cleanser was its gentle, non-irritating formula! Even though I have combination skin, it felt a bit drying, but I loved how effectively it removed my daily makeup. The cleansing power was so good that you only need to pump once or twice to get enough foam. It's quite an efficient product! For days with heavier makeup, it felt slightly inadequate on its own. However, when I used a cleansing oil first and followed up with this bubble foam cleanser, there was no residue or traces of makeup left behind. It works hard to leave your skin clean! If I had to point out a downside, it would be the fragrance. It's hard to pinpoint exactly what the scent is... It's a mix of something fresh with another scent? While it's not so unpleasant that I can't use the product, it's not a fragrance I particularly enjoy, which is a bit disappointing. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinSep 10, 2021
The bubble formula is convenient as there's no need to lather separately. The foam is rich and abundant, which is great. I really appreciated how gentle it was on my skin during cleansing, causing no irritation thanks to its mild ingredients. When removing makeup, I first use cleansing water, then follow up with the Ginkgo Bubble Cleansing Foam. It leaves my skin feeling thoroughly cleansed! Plus, it's so hydrating that my skin feels moisturized even after washing. As someone with oily skin who cleanses in the morning too, I find this product perfect for AM use due to its gentleness and hydrating properties. (You know how using harsh cleansers in the morning can dry out your skin and make makeup application tricky.) The pump bottle design allows for clean and easy use, and the subtle fragrance is likely to appeal to most users. The packaging design leaves a bit to be desired. I believe that packaging can be a key factor in attracting buyers, but this one feels somewhat... dated? While it's true that nowadays people often make purchases based on ingredients and reviews, I still find the design slightly disappointing. I think this product is particularly suitable for those with oily skin as a morning cleanser. It's gentle and hydrating without being too strong, which I really appreciate. I didn't experience any blemishes while using it, nor did I feel any unusual dryness when applying makeup after morning cleansing. I plan to use it as my morning cleanser and as a second-step cleanser in my evening routine. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinSep 10, 2021
Cleansing effectiveness: It removed eyebrow pencil, eyeliner, lipstick, tint, and eyeshadow very well! On days when I'm not wearing heavy makeup, it's effective enough that you don't need a second cleanse. Gentle on skin: Since I started wearing masks, cleansing the areas where the mask touches used to sting and hurt, but not with this product. I was cautious at first, gently applying the foam, but there was no stinging at all, so I could cleanse comfortably! Packaging: I liked that it's a pump-type product, which is hygienic! Many products don't dispense foam cleanly at the end, but this one gave a clean finish right to the last drop. Texture: Soft, fluffy foam! Scent: It has a light herbal scent that's not too strong and pleasant. It reminds me of the fresh greenery smell you often encounter when hiking. Foam: While I liked how the foam came out soft and fluffy, it deflated too quickly. You could actually see the foam collapsing while pumping it into your hand. Post-cleansing feel: Right after cleansing, it didn't feel excessively squeaky clean, but had a moderate squeaky feel. I waited a bit to check for any tightness, and there was some. It made me think, 'I should definitely follow up with skincare.' Cleansing effectiveness: It removed light makeup well, but... It didn't effectively remove thickly applied foundation. A second cleanse was necessary for thorough removal. Three pumps are just right for a perfect cleanse! - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinSep 10, 2021
As someone with sensitive and dry skin, I always check the ingredients before purchasing a product. I tried this Ginkgo Bubble Cleansing Foam after reviewing its ingredients and applying through The Hwahae Testers program! The name 'Ginkgo Bubble Cleanser' likely comes from the ginkgo leaf extract it contains. It also features patented soybean ferment and elm bark extract, which are said to prevent deep dryness after cleansing. After using it for two weeks, I found it to be a highly satisfying product. Before this, I was using a well-known low pH cleanser, but it was a hassle to create foam by hand each time, and it slightly irritated my skin. This product, being a foam type, was much more to my liking. As it's gentle, even my cheeks, which easily turn red, didn't show much color change. After washing, instead of a squeaky clean feeling, my skin felt hydrated with a slight cooling sensation. The pump dispenses foam smoothly without requiring much force. I also love the fragrance - it makes washing my face a pleasant experience. While the foam isn't extremely rich for a pump product, I consider this a good thing - it likely means fewer chemical ingredients. I used it by pumping 2-3 times and gently massaging it on my face and neck. I used this product as a second cleanse after using a cleansing water, and it didn't leave my skin feeling too dry. However, I'm a bit concerned about its cleansing effectiveness if used alone. I believe thorough cleansing is crucial for achieving a cleaner skin surface! It might be disappointing if you're looking for a one-step cleanser. It didn't feel like it was removing deep-seated sebum. While it might be fine for those with dry skin, people with oily skin might not be satisfied. After washing, I intentionally didn't apply toner or emulsion, and surprisingly, my skin retained moisture quite well. However, I think applying serum right after cleansing would be even better. Also, this product might work better as a second cleanser if paired with a gentle first cleanser. When I used it after a strong first cleanser, it felt like it stripped more moisture. So, use it with hydrating products! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinSep 10, 2021
This is a review from The Hwahae Testers. I tried a bubble-type cleansing foam for the first time, and it's convenient because you don't need to work up a lather. While the foam isn't super dense, it feels nice to use and doesn't leave my skin feeling dry after cleansing, allowing for a hydrated finish. The soft, fluffy foam seemed gentle, so I was curious how it would perform in tests. Surprisingly, it removed eyeliner and mascara effectively. When rolling it on my face, the soft foam definitely seems less irritating to the skin. It's difficult to cleanse with just one or two pumps. The formula is a bit thin, so you need about four pumps. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSep 10, 2021
My skin is prone to some blemishes, and while it's not extremely sensitive, it can flare up quickly if I use products that don't suit me. 1. Gentle cleansing! Since I almost always use sunscreen, I double cleanse. For the second cleanse, I often use a foam cleanser with a bubble net. From this perspective, I felt I could cleanse thoroughly without irritation! 2. No deep dryness after cleansing! Sometimes when using certain products, I experience some deep dryness, but with this product, I enjoyed a thorough cleanse without any of that discomfort! 3. Convenient packaging! The container is simply a pump-type, and the foam comes out nice and fluffy! It was very convenient and pleasant to use! Overall, I think it's a user-friendly product! Above all, I believe its greatest strengths are that it's gentle on the skin, has convenient packaging, and allows for a thorough cleanse. While it wasn't bad overall, there are a couple of aspects that might be hit-or-miss: 1. The scent feels artificial There are times when the fragrance feels a bit artificial. It's hard to describe the exact scent, but it smells like what you'd typically expect from cosmetics, which was a bit disappointing. 2. The foam tends to drip This might vary from person to person, but I found that the foam tended to run down quite easily. It felt less dense than I expected, which was slightly disappointing. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSep 10, 2021
(Skin type) Combination dehydrated skin prone to blemishes and excess oiliness The foam was incredibly rich and creamy, which I loved most because it minimized irritation on the skin's surface. After cleansing, my skin didn't feel tight and remained quite hydrated. Usually, when I use foam cleansers for my morning routine, my skin feels particularly tight and irritated. However, this product effectively removed overnight buildup and excess oil while leaving my skin moisturized, causing minimal irritation. That's why I found it perfect for my morning cleanse. It seems suitable for all skin types. - Gentle, hydrating, excellent for morning cleansing While there weren't any significant drawbacks and it was generally satisfactory, I needed to pump 2-3 times for each use, which made me think I'd go through it quickly. - Slightly challenging to control the amount used. Its gentle nature made it fantastic for my morning cleansing routine. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinSep 10, 2021
I have sensitive and combination skin. Ingredients: I usually look for gentle cleansing foams with good ingredients, but even slight incompatibility can make my face red after washing... 😭 I was curious about this product as it seemed to be a non-irritating type, and fortunately, it cleanses gently without causing any blemishes or irritation 👍 Cleansing effectiveness: I always double cleanse when I wear makeup or sunscreen. This product seems perfect for the second cleanse or morning wash~ When I applied foundation thoroughly on my face, it didn't feel like it was completely cleansed. However, when I had no makeup on, it felt like it effectively removed facial oils and impurities. Texture: The initial feel was good and not drying, but after washing, there was a slight tightness after a short while, so I recommend following up quickly with skincare. As it's a bubble cleanser, it's comfortable and versatile, making it a good choice for daily use :D There aren't many downsides to mention :) While it's not a specialized functional cleanser, it seems to be a versatile and reliable one. I believe double cleansing is almost essential when wearing makeup!! Try using this as your second cleanser after using a cleansing oil. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSep 9, 2021
I usually only used bubble cleansers for morning cleansing because I found their cleansing power lacking. But wow, I was amazed by this one's excellent cleansing ability! As you can see in the photo, it completely removed eyeliner, lipstick, mascara, eyebrow product, and foundation. For daily makeup, you don't even need a separate cleansing water - the Charmzone Ginkgo Bubble Cleanser alone leaves no makeup residue! On days with heavier makeup, I use an eye makeup remover for the eyes, followed by Charmzone Ginkgo Cleansing Tissues, and finish with this product for a thorough cleanse that leaves both my mind and skin feeling reassured. True to Charmzone's reputation as a leader in cleansing tissues, this bubble cleanser also has great cleansing power. Despite its strength, unlike other powerful cleansing foams, it left my skin feeling barely any tightness after washing! The scent is similar to their cleansing tissues - a fresh, green fragrance that didn't irritate my nose at all. I'll definitely repurchase this product! Since this product focuses on cleansing, I didn't see significant effects on blemishes or sebum removal. However, it should be effective in preventing breakouts caused by leftover makeup residue! As time passes, the bubble cleanser may not dispense as rich and creamy, so it's good to shake it a few times before use. Even though it comes out as foam, I prefer to feel the cleansing essence directly on my skin, so I tend to work up an even richer lather with my hands. You might think it won't create more foam, but with just a little rubbing, you can cleanse with an incredibly rich lather. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinSep 9, 2021
The moment you pump it, foam comes out instantly, making it more convenient than other cleansing foams that require rubbing to create lather! Moreover, after examining the ingredients, I was thrilled to find that it's made with gentle components that suit my sensitive skin type perfectly. What's truly impressive is its remarkable cleansing effectiveness - it even removes mascara that usually only comes off with a separate remover. I think this might be my favorite cleansing product I've ever used!!! There's really nothing to complain about product-wise, but I do wish they would come out with a really large, economy-sized version. I usually do a double cleanse, but with this product, I can just use a cleansing water to lightly wipe my face and then use this for a single cleanse, and it works great!
