The shade 22 is perfect for me. It applies thinly and it's easy to control the amount. You can achieve a natural glow look! I love that they offer such specific shade options. The coverage is a bit lacking. As I have dry skin, it tends to sit on top slightly, which is disappointing. For those with dry skin, a solid skincare routine is absolutely crucial. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinDec 19, 2022
This cushion provides a moisturizing and glowing finish. While the coverage is quite light, it doesn't cover minor dark spots around the eyes or redness. However, it does give a slight brightening effect, resulting in a dewy complexion. It layers well without pilling. For blemishes or areas you want to conceal, use a concealer and then apply this thinly for a natural look. The cushion puff is thin like a sponge, making it easy to pat on. Its teardrop shape is convenient for applying around the nose and under-eye areas. Best of all, it's great for winter use as it doesn't dry out the skin. It transfers onto masks at an average rate. The main drawback is definitely the coverage. Since I often skip concealer on busy mornings, this can be an issue. In the afternoon, there's slight lifting and some caking around the nose area. Applying two layers seems to give a much prettier finish. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSep 22, 2022
1. Achieves a natural, skin-like finish that's perfect for dry skin types. 2. The petal shade seems ideal for Asian skin tones. It's a holy grail color! 3. The puff applicator is excellent. 4. Applies in a thin, even layer which is great. 1. The product quantity feels a bit limited. 2. For those with large pores, it can ball up as sebum emerges over time. 3. Pore coverage is weak, and there's some settling into fine lines. 4. As time passes, it tends to crack in the nasolabial fold area. (Using powder on top initially helps, but gradually leads to deep dryness and tightness.) Not recommended for those with dry skin who have oily T-zones and large pores. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSep 18, 2022
The ease of application is a major plus. It adheres smoothly to the face as soon as you spread it. The natural coverage gives your face a brightened appearance. I had high hopes for the renewed version, but it turned out more matte than expected. It feels a bit dry on my skin. This cushion is more suitable for summer use. I initially bought the original Pro Tailor Be Glow Cushion but mistakenly chose shade 1 Vanilla, which didn't match my skin tone. Although the color was off, it was a hydrating cushion. For the upgraded All-New version, I purchased shade 3 Petal, but it felt drying when applied. However, a surprising transformation occurred when I used the original Be Glow version for highlighting. The combination of the two cushions created the perfect texture through thin layering, striking a balance between dry and dewy. If you find the Pro Tailor Be Glow Cushion All-New too drying, try gently patting it on, then follow up with a light application of a more hydrating cushion. This technique can give your skin a much more vibrant look. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJun 5, 2022
Honest review from my own purchase: As someone with combination dehydrated skin, this worked pretty well for me! I have 21-22 skin tone, and the Petal shade brightened my complexion naturally, which I liked. If you're looking for a more dramatic brightening effect, you might find it a bit lacking. The adherence isn't bad, and it applies thinly. With proper amount control, it doesn't transfer much onto masks. Since it's not a matte product, touch-ups are easy. I didn't expect much in terms of coverage, but it performed well for its texture. It was especially good at covering pores! For a cushion marketed as moisturizing, it didn't feel particularly hydrating. Perhaps due to the alcohol content, it felt moist initially but later seemed to lose moisture. I'd say it's more of a semi-matte finish! I've used over 20 cushions, and this has the strongest scent among all I own! I'm not sensitive to fragrances so I used it anyway, but I recommend those with sensitivities to test it first. Oddly, only Espoir cushions give me small blemishes.. I must be reacting to an ingredient in their cushions. If you have sensitive skin, I strongly advise checking the ingredients before purchasing!! I won't be repurchasing this. The texture is lightweight and gives a natural skin finish! It's great for covering my visible pores on the nose without looking unnatural :) I'm currently on my 4th or 5th refill, that's how much I love it! It's not too heavy for summer use, though it may transfer a bit onto masks. The formula is on the moisturizing side, so it might not be perfect for those with oily skin. My skin is generally dry, but I have some oiliness in the T-zone, and it can feel a bit greasy in summer. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJan 17, 2022
As a student with acne-prone, oily skin - and I'm sure others with similar skin types can relate - cushion foundations often sting on blemishes, fail to cover them, or cause redness to flare up. That's why I was on the hunt for a cushion that could balance oil and moisture. This cushion was the answer! It doesn't completely clog pores, so I didn't experience any new blemishes. The natural glow it gives is actually better than Cl**'s illuminating cushion. What I love is that it's not just shiny, but has more of an 'oil glow' that looks beautiful with any makeup on top. As time passes, the glow becomes even prettier, and even when it starts to fade, it does so gracefully. For reference, I've used it from fall through spring. I tried it once in summer, but the glow made it feel a bit heavy, so I switched to the same brand's B-Silk cushion for the warmer months. I haven't been using the renewed version of this cushion for long, so I'm not sure if it'll become a permanent staple. As someone who used the previous version, I can say that while the original gave a natural look, over time it would develop a pretty glow but start to feel heavy on the skin. The renewed version doesn't seem to have this issue, which I'm quite satisfied with. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinDec 28, 2021
For dry, sensitive teenage skin - it's great for brightening! Even a small amount instantly evens out your complexion. However, it can be tricky to control how much you use... haha. This was my first cushion foundation purchase, and I'd say for a first-timer, the color looks natural. It should suit those with cool undertones who use shade 21. While it's marketed as a glowy cushion, I didn't really notice it being more radiant compared to other cushions I've tried. However, I found the coverage to be quite sheer. Since I often get blemishes, I had to use concealer or another foundation to spot-cover problem areas. - Hwahae UserDry SkinDec 5, 2021
Skin type: Yellowish undertone, dry, rarely experiences blemishes I bought this product to even out my skin tone rather than for coverage. While the coverage is minimal, it applies naturally. It goes on smoothly in a thin layer and gives my face a lively appearance. I'm satisfied with it. However, I wouldn't recommend it to those looking for high coverage. It seems the focus is on a natural look, so the staying power isn't particularly long-lasting. Also, as time passes, it tends to settle into fine lines. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinOct 21, 2021
1. The color is absolutely gorgeous! It's my first time trying the Espoir cushion, and now I understand why there's so much praise for its shades. I'm using 21.5, and it gives my complexion such a natural, radiant look! 2. It goes on so sheer, making your skin look flawless! While it's true that it doesn't offer much coverage... that can actually be seen as a plus! I was amazed at how it made my skin look so clean without heavy coverage. 3. I have dry skin, and after about 6 hours of wear, there was no pilling or caking at all. 4. I have super sensitive skin prone to blemishes, but this didn't cause any irritation or breakouts! 1. It's quite drying... and doesn't give much glow. If you have dry skin like me, don't even think about the 'glow' in its name - focus on its other benefits when buying! Even with a solid skincare routine, while I didn't experience much deep dryness, there was no glow from the start. 2. The coverage is really low. Even though I don't prioritize coverage much, I had to layer it several times to get decent coverage. But I suppose this is what allows for that clear skin look! For those with dry skin, it might be too much for harsh winter use. It's probably best for spring and fall (or even winter with a solid skincare routine underneath!)
