The color is vibrant and doesn't have a yellow undertone. It doesn't darken or look dull even after wearing it for a long time, and it keeps the skin moisturized. After use, those with sensitive skin might notice a slight tendency for blemishes to appear. It's not severe, but you might think, 'Hmm, my skin texture feels a bit off today.' - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinMar 1, 2023
While the coverage was just okay, it applied thinly and adhered well to my skin I have dry and sensitive skin, and after using it for about two days, I'm experiencing a lot of blemishes - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinOct 8, 2022
The color is absolutely gorgeous and applies beautifully. The coverage is moderate. This product wreaks havoc on my skin. Every time I look in the mirror after using it, I see new blemishes popping up... I wondered if it was just my skin acting up, but when I tried it again after a while, more blemishes appeared the next day. It seems this cushion is definitely the culprit. I tossed it out after using it just twice. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJun 5, 2022
Honest review from my own purchase: As someone with combination dehydrated skin, this worked pretty well for me! I have 21-22 skin tone, and the Petal shade brightened my complexion naturally, which I liked. If you're looking for a more dramatic brightening effect, you might find it a bit lacking. The adherence isn't bad, and it applies thinly. With proper amount control, it doesn't transfer much onto masks. Since it's not a matte product, touch-ups are easy. I didn't expect much in terms of coverage, but it performed well for its texture. It was especially good at covering pores! For a cushion marketed as moisturizing, it didn't feel particularly hydrating. Perhaps due to the alcohol content, it felt moist initially but later seemed to lose moisture. I'd say it's more of a semi-matte finish! I've used over 20 cushions, and this has the strongest scent among all I own! I'm not sensitive to fragrances so I used it anyway, but I recommend those with sensitivities to test it first. Oddly, only Espoir cushions give me small blemishes.. I must be reacting to an ingredient in their cushions. If you have sensitive skin, I strongly advise checking the ingredients before purchasing!! I won't be repurchasing this. (The mirrored case collects fingerprints like crazy!) - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinFeb 4, 2022
It does a pretty good job of covering things like dark circles and blemishes Since I have dry skin, it tends to cause a few blemishes unfortunately - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinDec 18, 2021
As winter approached and my skin became extremely dry, I started looking for a more moisturizing cushion foundation. That's when I discovered this product. I was impressed by how it gives a subtle glow and keeps the skin hydrated without any dead skin cells flaking off. The immediate skin finish after application is the best I've experienced among all the cushions I've tried! While the makeup doesn't break down unattractively, the main issue is that it causes small blemishes to appear. This is particularly concerning as I don't usually have acne-prone skin. After some research, I found that others who experienced incompatibility with this product reported similar issues. It's unfortunate, but I think it's important information for potential buyers to consider. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAug 7, 2021
※I use shade 21 and even lighter 21, but for this product I was between 21-22, please keep that in mind※ Color ★★★★☆ It's exactly the same as those with shade 22 complexions. When my skin brightened, it was slightly dark. Overall, it has Espoir's signature ivory tone, but with a slight orange tint added! It matched my skin tone so well, it looked like I wasn't wearing anything! My friends couldn't even tell I had makeup on...haha Adherence, Transfer ★★★☆☆ It tends to transfer, so it's not the type that adheres super well. I used it before the pandemic, so it didn't bother me much. It would transfer a bit to my glasses nose pads. When wearing a mask, I used the medical kind, not dental or KF94, so it didn't rub off too much. I don't mind transfer, so I'm mentioning it here! Hydration ★★★☆☆ If you're expecting extreme hydration because it's Be Glow, it might feel a bit dry. It's the perfect cushion for fall! In winter, any base tends to flake due to heaters. Longevity ★★★☆☆ The longevity is so-so, neither great nor terrible. By lunchtime, I'd touch up around my nose, eat, and I was fine with just fixing the creasing. But after brushing my teeth, I always reapply. Puff ★★★★★ There's no half star option, so I gave it 5, but the Be Glow puff is the best... I've tried Clio, Rom&nd, and other Espoir cushions, and this was the best puff, working well with the product! It's bouncy and helps with adherence! One downside is that it attracts a lot of dust... Almost all Espoir puffs do, but Be Glow attracts the most. But I think it's because of the bouncy material for better adherence, so I just regularly remove dust with tape. Dust does come off when washing the puff! But if there's a lot of dust on the puff, it transfers to your skin, so try to remove as much dust as possible before applying! =>Overall, I liked it enough to consider repurchasing for fall! Petal is now a bit dark for me, so I'll go for Ivory next time! After using Clio and switching back to Espoir, it's definitely thinner. The cushion itself is thin too, so it takes up less space in my makeup bag! Scent ★★☆☆☆ Be Glow's biggest drawback is the scent and ingredients... I'm not sensitive to much, but I am to scents, and this really smells like perfume... haha. It's a love-it-or-hate-it scent. Honestly, I don't hate it, but it's the kind of scent that can cause headaches. Ingredients ☆☆☆☆☆ I'm sorry Espoir... The ingredients are really not great... I usually use most products without issues, but Espoir tends to cause blemishes... Creasing ★★★☆☆ I'm putting this in the cons section! It creases a bit around the nose. But I think any cushion will crease a bit over time, and if you apply a thin layer, it's less noticeable. It wasn't bothersome enough to worry about in daily life, as I don't scrutinize the sides of my nose that closely. Coverage ★★★☆☆ It doesn't provide great coverage. It doesn't cover redness well... When I rush in the morning and my face gets flushed, it really doesn't cover it... I don't care much about coverage as long as it covers redness, but occasionally when my redness flares up, it shows through. If you're more sensitive about coverage than me, you might really dislike it... Imprinting ★★☆☆☆ It leaves glasses marks and imprints easily. Some imprints wipe away and some don't, you know? This one shows imprints and wipes off. But I think products that don't imprint or wipe off are rare, so I just pat it with the puff to fix it! Apply a thin layer and pat it in for much less transfer! - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinJun 16, 2021
It's moisturizing, gives a beautiful skin finish, and the puff is really excellent. After using this product, my skin reacted so badly the next day that I had to visit a dermatologist. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinAtopy SkinSensitive SkinMay 26, 2021
It's challenging to find positives for a product I don't recommend, but I'll try. The application was smooth, and it worked well for dry skin. The color wasn't bad either. However, the drawbacks were too significant to overlook, leaving me with zero intention to repurchase. For sensitive, dry skin, it seemed fine immediately after application. However, after cleansing, severe blemishes appeared. It also caused skin itching. I strongly advise against this product for those with atopic or super sensitive skin. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinApr 11, 2021
First off, the skin finish is absolutely gorgeous! It creates an incredibly clear complexion and applies much thinner than other cushions, which I love. The staying power is decent, and most importantly, the way it wears off is really beautiful. The skin finish is just stunningly pretty... It's the most beautiful cushion I've used so far. Perhaps due to the ingredients, when I wear it for a long time, I get a few small blemishes. Those with sensitive skin might want to be cautious because of the ingredients. Also, the coverage isn't particularly strong. For the best skin finish, don't apply the cushion too thickly. Instead, pat it on lightly in thin layers. If you have oily skin like me, you can set it with a light dusting of powder. I have oily skin, but I found it worked well for me in spring, fall, and winter. However, it might be a bit much for oily skin in summer.
