The moisturizing texture and soft, squishy puff design make for a nice case A product with terrible coverage. Espoir used to have decent formulas and coverage with their first Pro Tailor foundation about 4-5 years ago, but since splitting into Cover/Glow lines, they've become a mediocre and disappointing drugstore brand. Their recent releases are all subpar as well. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinDec 19, 2022
This cushion provides a moisturizing and glowing finish. While the coverage is quite light, it doesn't cover minor dark spots around the eyes or redness. However, it does give a slight brightening effect, resulting in a dewy complexion. It layers well without pilling. For blemishes or areas you want to conceal, use a concealer and then apply this thinly for a natural look. The cushion puff is thin like a sponge, making it easy to pat on. Its teardrop shape is convenient for applying around the nose and under-eye areas. Best of all, it's great for winter use as it doesn't dry out the skin. It transfers onto masks at an average rate. The main drawback is definitely the coverage. Since I often skip concealer on busy mornings, this can be an issue. In the afternoon, there's slight lifting and some caking around the nose area. Applying two layers seems to give a much prettier finish. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinDec 16, 2022
I really like the shade 22 as it's a comfortable color to use. It's the cushion I reach for most often because it applies smoothly without emphasizing oily areas or dead skin cells, no matter how I apply it. I'm not sure about darkening, but I did notice it might make my complexion look slightly dull, though it's not severe! I apply this and then lightly dust some powder over it, which works well for me all year round. The puff is also nice and soft~ It's definitely not an extremely glowy finish. I don't put a ton of effort into my skincare routine, but this formula applies comfortably enough for everyday use! The coverage is a bit lacking. However, it can still conceal enough to give a clean look if you build it up. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSep 22, 2022
1. Achieves a natural, skin-like finish that's perfect for dry skin types. 2. The petal shade seems ideal for Asian skin tones. It's a holy grail color! 3. The puff applicator is excellent. 4. Applies in a thin, even layer which is great. 1. The product quantity feels a bit limited. 2. For those with large pores, it can ball up as sebum emerges over time. 3. Pore coverage is weak, and there's some settling into fine lines. 4. As time passes, it tends to crack in the nasolabial fold area. (Using powder on top initially helps, but gradually leads to deep dryness and tightness.) Not recommended for those with dry skin who have oily T-zones and large pores. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopy SkinSensitive SkinMay 16, 2022
As someone with dry skin, I loved how it didn't emphasize dead skin cells!! The puff is especially fantastic - so soft and bouncy. The staying power is a bit lacking. While it goes on thinly, which can be both a pro and a con, it doesn't provide much coverage. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinMay 13, 2022
The fragrance is delightful! It's such a mood-lifter every time I apply it. There's a hint of freshness to it that I really enjoy. Plus, the unique water droplet-shaped puff is perfect for getting into those tricky areas around the nose. I'm really loving using this product. I think I might have chosen the wrong shade for myself. I usually use shades 19-21, but this one seems a bit dark for me. I've been using it more as a base makeup instead. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinAug 28, 2021
The rose gold case is so chic, I love carrying it around! The Espoir logo is subtly embossed, giving it a luxurious feel. Despite some scratches from daily use, it's still gorgeous. What's new is the 'be glow' engraving on the cushion's inner sponge - a nice touch! Plus, they've improved the ingredients, which I absolutely love. The puff's pointed tip allows for precise application in every nook and cranny. It's soft yet bouncy, absorbing and releasing the foundation perfectly, so you can evenly cover your whole face with just a small amount. Unlike other dewy cushions, this doesn't feel overly moisturizing. It actually has a somewhat matte feel to it. The original Be Glow felt a bit thick in pursuit of coverage, but this new version is not heavy at all! It sits lightly on the skin while still providing decent coverage - I'm impressed. While it may not be a blinding glow, it gives a sophisticated radiance that keeps me reaching for it daily. I found the staying power to be quite good. As someone with oily skin, I often find glowy bases disappear as they mix with my natural oils. But this cushion stayed put nicely. It didn't transfer much to my mask either, making it perfect for fall and winter wear. As someone with oily skin, I prefer this less emollient formula. However, if you have dry skin, you might find it a bit lacking in moisture. Of course, it's not drying for summer use. The coverage isn't extremely high. While it's better than most glowy or dewy foundations, if you're expecting full coverage like a matte foundation, you'll definitely need concealer. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinAug 17, 2021
It goes on super light with a quick swipe, and instead of a sticky moistness, it's more of a semi-glow type that makes your skin look healthily radiant. The case is gorgeous too, with a shimmery gold color and an elegant logo! The puff is nice and soft, and it doesn't absorb too much foundation, so it applies evenly without clumping - that's probably its biggest advantage. Highly recommended for those with dry skin! For combination or oily skin types, it might not be the best choice for summer as it tends to cake up and clump easily. It's probably better suited for transitional seasons or winter. In summer, it breaks down quickly and lacks staying power, which is really disappointing. The coverage isn't full, but more of a natural look that can hide some redness or freckles. It doesn't quite manage to conceal blemish scars though. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAug 11, 2021
The puff is soft and gentle. It provides a nice moisturizing effect. While the coverage is light, the color is beautifully bright and well-formulated. The adherence to the skin could be better, and it doesn't wear gracefully throughout the day. The coverage is on the lighter side. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinJul 13, 2021
The application is beautiful, and the color is pretty too. I love how the puff is nice and firm. It breaks down easily... and causes hives on my face. My money... ugh. I usually don't have issues with cushions, but this one really messed up my skin.
