  As I've gotten older, my skin has become drier, so I've made a habit of using this mild acidic cleansing foam daily. After washing, I definitely notice less tightness in my skin.   It lathers up well. There's a very faint scent of mugwort, but it's so subtle you might not even notice it. It's non-irritating and perfect for a gentle morning cleanse.

  The foam's density, or rather the lightness of the lather, is noticeable. Personally, since I prefer cleansers with a richer foam, I probably won't repurchase this.

  Using a bubble net from Daiso makes it easier to create a good lather and use the product effectively.

  First off, I got a great deal with free shipping, so the price was fantastic! Texture: It's quite thick, but the opening is narrow, so you need to squeeze hard. It's similar to the pre-redesign Mung Bean Foam, thick with a small opening! Scent: As the name suggests, it has a Houttuynia Cordata scent! It's mild enough not to be off-putting, like a mix of Houttuynia Cordata and soap. Cleansing effectiveness: I use it as a second cleanser or morning cleanser, and it's great for morning cleansing! Irritation: As a low pH foam cleanser, it worked well even for my super sensitive skin! I didn't experience any blemishes or tingling sensations at all.

  Cons

  Residue: Oh my, it feels like it keeps washing off no matter how much I rinse... I took off one star for this. It's not the typical slipperiness of low pH cleansers, but this product itself tends to leave quite a bit of residue.
