Toner-like texture Despite being called an essence, it's not sticky but rather fluid. I personally prefer thinner formulas as I find sticky ones absorb more slowly. 3. Improvement My skin feels incredibly hydrated the next day... I'm on my third bottle. The difference in skin hydration between using and not using it is noticeable, so I'm using it consistently! The price is too high... All of Tamburins' skincare lines are so expensive... Don't use it with cotton pads or rounds, make sure to apply it with clean hands and let it absorb completely! This is really important... There's a big difference between applying it with cotton pads and using your hands... It's great to apply this right after washing your face - it instantly boosts hydration, leaving your skin feeling wonderfully moisturized! Plus, the packaging is absolutely gorgeous. It looks so lovely sitting next to my perfume bottles, it just makes me happy! The price feels a bit steep compared to its performance... Also, it doesn't seem to absorb completely. Instead, it feels more like it's forming a protective layer on the skin. I've found it works best when you pat it on while your skin is still damp after cleansing.

My skin type: Very dry/prone to blemishes and acne if I don't exfoliate properly/extreme tingling and burning sensation if I use incompatible skincare. I used this Water Essence Toner from February 16, 2021 to August 12, 2021. I tried Tamburins after it was recommended for dry skin. I used the toner, serum, and cream from the same line together. My routine: Cleansing - exfoliating toner - Water Essence (pat-in method) - serum from the same line - cream from the same line. Texture: Viscous liquid (not suitable for use with cotton pads). True to its name, it was closer to an essence than a toner. It provided good hydration and was gentle on the skin. To be honest, I was disappointed by the lack of standout benefits. It's just... average. Especially considering its high price point. I often use this when I'm feeling lazy because it keeps my face hydrated and not tight, even when I don't apply anything else. The bottle design is so pretty it could even be used as a decorative piece. I bought it because the packaging was pretty, but it was so good I ended up using three bottles! It's really gentle and hydrating, perfect for my super sensitive skin. The container is heavy and opaque, so it's hard to gauge how much product is left... I love how it applies with a slightly firm texture, yet absorbs into the skin with a wonderfully hydrating feel. Unlike typical toners that seem to evaporate quickly, I really appreciate the formulation of this product. My skin tends to redden easily when products don't agree with it, but after consistent use, this seems to work well without any irritation. The almost fragrance-free aspect is also a plus! Hmm, the opaque bottle makes it difficult to gauge how much product is left. The bottle is also quite heavy, so it's hard to tell how much remains by weight. It has a slightly viscous texture, but absorbs well and spreads easily. The weighty bottle design is absolutely gorgeous, and it provides excellent hydration. As others have mentioned, the opaque container makes it impossible to gauge how much product is left. But its beauty makes up for that flaw!
